No sweets, no pop. No exercise, sat on my butt all day long.

No sweets, no pop. I've been drinking a Slimfast for breakfast when I wake up every morning. Nothing after 7pm. Lunch was a large (2 serving) can of soup. Dinner was a huge helping of fried rice with steak strips.
Wish the weight came off 20 lbs. per week, wouldn't that be nice? I'd like to live in that world.

No pop, no sweets. Pizza for dinner and an all-you-can-eat brunch. Not as much water as I'd like. Nothing after 7pm.
So far, cutting out pop and sweets hasn't been a problem. My meals aren't any healthier, but I'm not hungry and am not thinking about food all of the time. Just replacing the pop with water alone cuts out approximately 500 calories or more each day, so results should be good as long as I don't have a lapse in judgement.

No sweets, no pop. Couple of fast food meals, plenty of water.

The good news.....no pop or sweets. The bad news.....plenty of other stuff. Steak, mashed potatoes, crab, scallops, shrimp, halibut, tuna, fries, bread. It all tasted so good. Doing good at drinking plenty of water, but am having chocolate bar and pop cravings now.

Well, today was alright. I didn't drink much of anything today, which is probably the reason for the drop in weight. I was running around and didn't stop into a gas station to grab anything.
Only 1 pop today which was good. It wasn't a conscious screw-up, in fact I didn't even realize that I was drinking a pop until halfway through the meal. I guess I could've just stopped drinking it, but decided I might as well enjoy it. The good news is that I didn't take the cup and get a refill for the road.
I've been thinking about exercising some more, but don't know of anything that I could do daily that wouldn't bore me to death. I get some pretty vigorous exercise in every couple of weeks, but don't know how much that helps as compared to a regular regimen. Ate a fastfood dinner, but had a diet drink, and haven't eaten since. Not hungry right now, but I was feeling pretty hungry about an hour before I stopped for dinner.
I've heard that eating breakfast helps jumpstart your metabolism in the morning. I've never really been a big fan of breakfast, so I thought I'd give some Slimfast shakes a shot as "breakfast". I can just grab one on my way out the door. Besides the possible metabolism benefits, it'll give me something to drink while in the car, which is where I normally consume most of my pop.

Like most other people, I've chosen the beginning of the new year to get on a weight loss program. I've tried in previous years and have achieved limited success, only to gain the weight back once more, and then some.
This year I'm not trying to be too structured and / or follow any specific plan. I know my eating problems and believe that with some conscious effort to change some of my eating habits, hopefully the weight will begin to come off.
I haven't weighed myself for awhile and was surprised at my current weight being up about 5 lbs. higher than I thought it would be. Anyways, my ultimate goal is 175 lbs, but will be overjoyed to reach my main goal of seeing 200 again.
My main eating problems are:
1. Drinking an immense amount of pop. 2. Late night eating. 3. Eating candy, cookies, etc. in large amounts.
My goal is to cut out most, if not all, of the pop. Have nothing to eat after 7pm or dinner, whichever is later. Cut out the candy, cookies, and other sweets.
Today went alright. I was on the road most of the day, and also went skiing for a few hours. I drank mostly water, with 1 pop. I didn't eat any sweets today, and so far haven't eaten past 7pm. Since I'm not making this too much of a structured thing, I didn't spend much time thinking about food today, I'm not feeling hungry, all in all it's been a good day.
