Did OK on food yesterday - ate bread at dinner, but didn't have any during the day - so OK where normally wouldn't have bread at night.  Went to bed early.........-2 degree with wind chill here.  10 degrees regular.  Going to  warm up by end of the week!  Oatmeal and coffee for breakfast.....more later today!

You're doing really well! Good luck with the dog-proof landscaping haha. I can't wait to get back to gardening, we'll have a few weeks after I get home before I can get out there. Here in OR the daffodils and forsythia are blooming along with some of the flowering trees!

Did the Elliptical and some weights and some dancing.  Babysat with babygirl and cooked a couple of different things - great healthy soup recipe and made some chicken for tacos and other things this week. In a nutshell I ate too much this weekend.  Not awful - but not well.  Trying to get back on track and I am def not giving up.  One day at a time.

On the home front - had the outside of the house, the driveway and the sidewalk pressure washed and it looks great.  Now if the SNOW would go away so we can begin cleaning up the yard - lots to do this year.  Want to do some landscaping in the back that will be dog- resistant, LOL!

More later this week.

Good food day so far today and not planning anything to wreck it!  Have dinner planned out - so success is on the horizon. Will be at my cal goal today!!!  Going to spend some time on the elliptical trainer, too!

We got about 5 inches of snow last night and the roads were a mess this morning.  Many people didn't come in to work.  I did, though.  Only about 20 minutes later than usual.  Woo-Hoo.  New car goes in the snow very well thanks to all-wheel drive!

Thanks for the comment - unfortunately my weight is not what is posted. I need to update it, but hate to - so will probably just take the weight number off for now. I am about 6 lbs above the posted weight now. :-(

OK stopping by for a hit and run post and dashing downstairs to get on my elliptical trainer.....Doing oK - made some small changes this week and will have done 3 sessions on ET - so better than I've been in awhile. More later.....

I haven't jumped ship.  I haven't had time to post everyday this week.  It's a busy week for me - my professional association event is tomorrow and I'm involved in that - takes extra time away from my job and playing catch up....but am doing pretty well.  No exercise since Sunday, but eating is good.  I ate dessert with tonight, but it was a mini brownie thing and won't wreck the week.  There will be health choices at the event tomorrow, so I'll choose well and go from there.  It will be a long day-leave the house at 7:00 and get back home around 6:00.  So should burn a few extra calories tomorrow!  .  

Crazy times at work.  But hanging in there. 

Going to get to have an early dinner with my friend and her husband on Friday.  They will be in town for her chemotherapy and she will feel ok until a couple of days after :so they wanted to catch an early Valentine's dinner with us before heading back to Louisville.  Still can't believe she is so sick.  Don't take any of your friends for granted.

Starting the week out with a post on DDs to keep myself gong!  Finished the weekend with a pretty good day.  I'd say calories were in fairly good shape and I had a 1.5 mile walk in deep snow with minimal damage to my foot - just a little pain.  Went to the grocery and have healthy choices for lunches and dinners, etc.  Plan another walk or Elliptical trainer session tonight - give me energy at the end of the day, please, Lord!

Welcome back, Holly! I'm glad you were able to walk without too much foot pain. My MIL has the same foot problem as you and the shoe inserts have really helped her. I hope you have an excellent day!

Good to know I'm on the right track. I have some really good ones and they have helped lately so I am going to get more!! It is so painful! I get spasms in my feet sometimes and shooting pain!

Recap of yesterday - Foods - not so good because I went to a concert with girlfriends and ate out - limited choices and all bad!  I had shrimp and grits and a cocktail.  Oh well.  I am not worried about it because one day does not make or break you and its OK.  I did only 15 minutes on Elliptical trainer yesterday - it's a start and am going on a snowy walk with the dogs and husband in a few minutes. Got new arch supports for shoes/boots so hoping no foot pain later.....

Ate two small ww pancakes w pecans and maple syrup for breakfast along with coffee.  Lunch??  Who knows - maybe grilled chicken salad and not sure what for dinner. I may make some vegetable soup for this week.  More later.......

Enough is enough.  I have to make some changes to this downhill slide I'm on.  Working too much, eating wrong stuff, not exercising, not having much fun, feeling slug-like!  I kind of like my job so I'm probably not going to be able to change that, but I can do a little something about the rest and I need this site and my DD pals to do it. I haven't gained a lot of weight back - prob about 8 lbs - but I gotta get it off.  Since I regularly posted here I've weighed in all the way from my best low to almost my highest weight.  Right now I'm in between closer to the top!  The majority is that I am not doing any exercise.  Mostly used to walk and ride bike do some Zumba or other classes - but thanks to plantar fascitis (strain of muscle on bottom of foot) I can't walk too much or pain is awful.  Bike rides have been non-existent since cold weather.  Today I am going to try the elliptical trainer that is in my BASEMENT!  We'll see how that is on the foot.  Food plan is cut out the sugar!  Not entirely, but way way back on that stuff.  

I have a "milestone" birthday coming up in October this year and a hiking vacation planned in June (Santa Fe) and I want to get in better shape to walk some canyons and look & feel good at "this age"!!   Deep breath......here I go.....AGAIN!

I am stopping by to say Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays (you choose) to you and yours.  I am doing OK.  I have been eating a little bit extra treats but balancing it some, too.  Granddaughter is so sweet when son in law was out of town three nights last week for work daughter and granddaughter camped out with us here.  Interesting times!

I m busy cleaning house today - getting ready for Christmas and New Years.  Going to make sausage and cabbage today and sweet potatoes and salad, bread.  Going to pass out some fudge to neighbors and visit my mom a little while.  

Work has been going OK - slowed down a little but, but I expect it will pick up again very soon.  Personality challenges are getting a little better.....but very unpredictable.  Adjustments to be made, I guess.

Weather here has been crazy warm - 60+.  Will be more typical beginning Tuesday, though.

Walked at the mall and my plantar faciatis - which had not been bother me hardly at all - acted up again.  Frustrating.  I will try to stretch it out some and take it easy in flat shoes.  Weird - if I walk in flats my heel hurst if I walk in heels (even lower  ones) my TOES hurt!  LOL!

Will probably post more after the first of the year.  I miss you all.......!!!
