Good exercise yesterday - 13.5 miles on bike. I am learnig how to use the gears better for more effecient pedaling.  Have eaten well this week  and I have been rewarded with 1.5 lb loss  on scales.  Planning a bike ride of about 23 miles this week if weather isn't too brutally hot.  Will keep you posted.  God bless.

Bummer.....rained and weren't able to go to Ohio to bike-ride.  Oh, well....another time.  I have wanted to do this particular trail for 2 years!  Something happens everytime I plan to go.  On top of that I didn't exercise yesterday because I wanted to make sure I had PLENTY of energy for today's bike ride(although calories were fine yesterday) .

Oh  well, today's another day and I'll ride the bike tonight on my usual 9 mile trail.  Thanks for the encouraging words on  my diary.

Thanks for your comments. I am truely amazed at how much I am changing simpling by focussing in on the positive things - no matter how miniscule that positive may be. Kinda like being told for years to eat breakfast to start your day off right - who knew!?!?! YOU are doing fabulous! Stay positve - Stay focussed - Stay YOU!

So sorry to hear about your ride. What a bummer to be excited about something like that and then you can't do it. Maybe you needed extra rest anyway!

heeey. thanks for your concerns on my first therapy appt. it really wasn't my first just yet as the person just took my intake and will not be my future therapist. so i'll update you guys more after my first session...which may be in as long as a month! they are booked!

enjoy your bikeride tonight! i am going to get some good exercise in as well, if i can get rid of this tired syndrome ihave going on!

Well, I didn't get the bike ride in, but I walked for over an hour - lots for hills.  Was  nice weather.  I was so tired when I got home from work.  Tonight I plan to just walk again because tomorrow I am going to bike ride on the Little Miami (Ohio) scenic trail - this is a Rails to Trails paved path.  My friend Edie and I are going to see how far we can ride.  I am excited.

Good day yesterday.  I stayed within calories and exercised A LOT.  I walked (kind of slowly) with the dogs for 50 minutes and then went for a 10 mi (almost) 30 minute (almost) bike ride with some killer hills!  I can tell each time on the bike I get a little bit better.  This old gal is coming back!!  Watch out!! 

Tonight - First bike - same route and then walk - with a friend - we walk fast for 3 miles - about 40-45 minutes for the 3 miles.  Can't wait!!

OK can't get on here every day for long- but to let you know - last week was OK - did well on food and exercise.  Daughter's birthday Saturday - ate WAY too much.  Back on it somewhat yesterday and for sure today!  Thanks for commenting on my diary everyone.  I will comment on  on a few everytime I log in, but not able to keep up with all everyday.  Anyone know what's happened to Maria?  Miss her posts.  Maria - if you are hanging out with us - I think of you and your mom often.  God bless.

No exercise  last night was so tired decided to give myself the night off after my usual walk was delayed.  Kind of a cop-out, but hoping it will pay off in more energy for the weekend exercise!  Yeah!

I am definitely calling later. hopefully they will refund me for the extra money i paid and give me a coupon for the services i should have gotten with the **cheaper** package deal. lol, the package was like 130 or something with the mani/pedi. and i paid 190 including tips for everything ugh. lol.

as for taking a rest, good choice. i'm always overworking my body. but you'll see more changes if you incorporate rest, too.!

This week is going pretty darn good on the food and exercise.  So far I have stayed within my calorie allowances each day (notice I didn't say calorie LIMITS) and I have exercised at least 45 minutes or an hour each day.  My mind set has shifted (for whatever reason - I wish I could explain) and I feel empowered to take charge of my body again.  I don't know if I have lost any lbs yet, but I can tell my clothes are a little less tight and I don't feel as bloated.  I know water comes off first, but I want to see some real fat loss soon - especially in the waist area.  

Hope everyone  is having a great week - here comes the weekend.  We are supposed to have wonderfully mind weather here this weekend-mid 70s and not humid.  That is unheard of.....

We are planning to see an outdoor play and this is the weekend when we get to see our daughter dance in an exhibition at her studio's event.  Three dances with her partner (Rhythm style ballroom - for those of you who haven't read my posts before).

After a muggy and overcast, low-energy weekend I got the week off to a good start yesterday - good eating habits and a fast 3 mile walk with a friend.  Our weather was beautiful again.  Feeling like I am making some progress and want to build on the momentum.
