Not much sleep last night.  Been up mostly since around 4:00 - going for a walk in a minute.  More later.

B:  Boiled Egg, 2 Turkey Sausage Links Iced Van. Coffee  235

L:  Mexican Restaurant with friend!  about 8-10 chips and salsa chicken fajitas - no tortilla Just chicken, onions, peppers, little bit of beans and little bit of guacamole Tell me if you dont' think 500 covered it.....I'm not sure.  I added up all ingredients and then added some on top for good measure....I am so full, it doesn't seem right. 500?

S:  Hi-Energy Mix 160

895 so far so I'll have to go easy tonight - 

D:  2 Ginger Hermet Cookies and a glass of milk - oh well, I'll burn off the carbs on my bike ride tomorrow morning.  500

1395 cals and no exercise - saving for bike ride Sat morning.....

Hiya Hollz,i am sick of having dis-rupted sleep.I end up falling asleep on the couch of an evening fall asleep for 2hrs say and then expect to go to bed and sleep till i get up for work.It was awful last week when i was on holiday,ended up sleeping on the sofa 2 nights,tossing a turning.Have you got something on your mind?Hopefully you will make up for it,ta ta :)

Very busy at work today- you may have noticed this is my first entry all day!  Running around town for meeting for work.  It's all good.  Some success.  Went over to Mom and Dad's after that, stayed until about 6:30.  It wasn't too weird tonight - well considering.....my parents are so strange and Dad's illness makes it so much more so....

Anyway - 0n the food front - I have had a pretty terrible day of nutrition today.  

B:  2 pieces of toast with jam, iced coffee 275-the toast is 50 cals each and it's good - double fiber

L:  1/2 turkey sandwich on same type bread 150 (maybe)

S:  Some Energy mix - not real high cal and not high fat content - nuts, raisins, and carob chips,etc.  200

S:  Cookie-ginger hermit - from whole grain bakery 250

D:  small green Smoothie 200

1075 - I'll have something else and update before I go to bed.  I will also walk tonight or do some other kind of exercise.....feeling sleepy and tired for them ost part right now.

About 1000 calories for yesterday - just a little bit of walking for exercise - at the jazz concert.  Ate ANOTHER scone at 4:00 this morning!  350 calories - but I'm not going to feel bad about it.  I don't have much of an appetite right now.  Guess I'll have to count it in today's calories, though.....

B:  Scone (early at 4:00) and Iced Coffee  450

Or I could count the scone on yesterday's calories since they were so low....oh, well, it will even out in the long run - it doesn't really matter.  :o)

S:  Quaker Granola Bar 90

L:  Blueberries and Raspberries  60 + Fried chicken thigh 250 = 310

subtotal for the day - 850

D:  1/2 small boneless pork chop - grilled, big helping of grilled vegetables.  These were the best yet and most of all because I did not grill them - husband did!  I marinated yesterday the meat and the vegetables.  He put them on while I was at church group tonight.  I'd say 100 for meat, 85 for vegetables, then cool whip and blueberries and raspberries for dessert another 100 = 285 

S:  cereal + 1/2 banana, some sliced almonds and skim milk 250

1385  calories and 3 mile walk tonight.  There was a very nice breeze although it was humid it was cool.....

I LOVE scones. Both the fluffy sugary kind I can get at my grocery store and the more traditional dense kind. They're all good! I hope you have a nice day :)

I hope your tummy issues are better :) I will say an extra prayer or two for you and your family Holly...I have no idea where loveray is and the site seems a bit of a ghost town...I was hoping to hear from her soo in re of the retreat, I have to request the time off far far in advance :( Anyways, I hope for a calm, peaceful evening my friend :)

Hey! Sometimes i eat fresh vegetables and i record it as "salad" :) I think you can count your scone however you want,of course i mean how you feel better ;)

Yesterday is updated - 1380 calories and 4 mile walk with husband and dog.  We were walking pretty slow or us!

Today so far:

B:  Iced Coffee - gonna have 1-boiled egg 140

L:  1/2 turkey sandwich on dbl fiber whole grain 150

S:  More Iced Coffee  75

I know this is not enough.  But I am going easy on my stomach today to see if digestive issues from yesterday have passed (no pun intended!!!)

Going with husband (and probably doggies) to the park for the free jazz music tonight if weather permits.  Taking grilled vegetables and some other stuff to munch.

S:  Quaker granola bar 90 and later 7 nuts 60 150  

S:  pita chips 140

S: Scone 350 

1000 cals Rained  and didn't get to grill vegetables.  Went to the park jazz concert anyway after snacking around.  Hear about three numbers and it started to thunder again and as soon as we got to the car it began raining hard. It was still a nice way to spend the evening.   Came home.  Talked to Mom and Dad as usual. Dad sounded so weak.  Feeling sad for them both and for me.

I saw the pics of your dogs on fb; they are lovely! The black lab (Smokey?) is precious for sure, looks like he was maybe pouting a little bit!!!

Good job walking yesterday! Wow! I can barely walk two miles without my legs and hips starting to hurt - no matter how fast or slow i'm going.

Thanks for your comment on my entry; I really dislike confrontation and drama, but I guess it comes hand in hand with the dating scene. That, and I sometimes open my mouth when I really should just keep it closed ;)

I didn't update yesterday, but it was an OK day - I'd say around 1600 calories and I walked 2 miles - late in the day.

Today I went to work and worked until 12:30 came home for lunch and stayed home due to not feeling very well.  I took a 3 hour nap and I feel some better although pretty groggy.  Understandable. 

My rash (on abdomen) is trying to come back!  Stupid stuff.  I am trying to treat it and get rid of it before it really takes hold.  

Today so far:

B:  Iced Coffee 75, Cereal 250, boiled egg 65=390

L:  BBQ sandwich on bun 340, fruit 60 = 400

S:  Nuts 200

subtotal 990

Not feeling very hungry tonight.  Upset stomach.  Update later....

Feeling better.  Walked 4 miles but make it easy on my stomach and ate a green smoothie for dinner (large)  300

1290 cals 4 miles walk 

UPDATE/LATE:  Quaker Granola Bar 90 = 1380 cals and 4 mile walk

Ugh, I hope you feel better soon! As for the strawberries, I froze 4 gallon bags of them. I'll use them for smoothies, muffins, and I've found a few low-cal desserts from Cooking Light like Strawberry Shortcake that I'm going to try. Strawberries won't go to waste in this house, the boys have already eaten a couple of pounds of em!

Overate a bit yesterday. Didn't really update yesterday, but I'd say around 1850 calories and no real good exercise, although I did go to Sam's Club and the grocery and stock up for the next couple of weeks.  It rained early an then was hit and humid the rest of the day. It did same thing today - except it has cooled off and is jus lovely here this evening. 

Cooked a big corned beef brisket and two heads of cabbage and took some over to my mom and dad.  Dad seemed to enjoy eating it and he said it was  good.  They are very picky, so this was a success.  It was good to spend time with dad.  He was watching a 16 part series called "Poldark" it was produced by the BBC (I think) and it was very good.  I watched the last 3 -4 epidodes with him. 

Came home and daughter and bf were washing her car and they did mine, too.  I came out at the last and helped, gee - it seems more like mother's day than father's day!  Woo-hoo for me.

I haven't over eaten today, but haven't been real hungry - after eating a bunch of "stuff" yesterday.  Daughter made a raw choc cheesecake, which is mostly made up of nuts and did taste pretty good.  I had only a very small piece. 

I am not going to write menus today - I'd say I've had around 1000 calories so far and haven't eaten dinner yet.....not sure I will.  Probably will take the dogs for a walk.  They were very funny - when we were washing my truck they got up in the back - thinking they might be taken for a ride!  They would not get out.  They are very obedient, typically, but we had to bride them to get out!  I took pictures and will post them on my FB page for all to see!  Elle is the black and brown one and Smokey is the big black lab.  :o)

Nice family time. I can just picture your dogs waiting to go for a ride! Weekends can be tough, calorie-wise for me too. Too many temptations but you handled it well- raw choc cheesecake, sounds good, must have been hard to have a small piece.

It starts somewhere around 6am ish...Although I can watch it later, it is always fun to watch it live with all of the rich and famous hob nobbing, sipping Vino in Italy as i lie in my bed....LOL!!!

Yesterday is updated.  I had around 1550 calories and no exercise.  Was tired due to running around and meeting with clients and potential clients, carriers and some shopping! Visited Dad.   Didn't buy anything,though.  I didn't exercise due fatigue and also wanting to save my energy for a bike ride today, BUT it is pouring rain.  Can't complain - it's been so humid and we NEED the rain.  Grass was getting all brown already.  I have not been on line all day due to laptop problems.  Eventually had to restore my laptop to earlier point in time.  Hope this means that I didn't lose the new spyware and sweeps I did this morning. The error is the same as always - it doesn't recognize the internet connection - netgear is what we use.  The router seems fine and when I restore it - it comes back.......I am not that tech oriented - so if anyone has suggestions - please feel free......

B:   1 Buckwheat waffle with pecans and ground flax seed and jam.  Coffee 400

Hiya Holly,can't you ring your service provider to check your line.Not that good with stuff like that.Have you taken your cables out then wait a couple of mins then put them back in,that's what we had to do the other night.Is the router from the service provider, ring them up we had trouble for over a month and they sent someone out, and it was the router.You need to get it sorted we can't have you going offline can we :)

Yesterday is updated.  1435 due to a late night scone.  Oh well, that is the amount of calories I need to eat.  I had a early 2 mile walk yesterday.

I want to clarify on those jeans I referenced yesterday - it was just that particular pair of jeans and I don't really think I'm a REAL size 8 quite yet - but soon!!

Oh, and I know the above # is not my weight.  I would GUESS I'm hovering around 158-ish, but I'm not weighing for AT LEAST another month.

Will post more late tonight - lunch witih my girlfrienid at home-cooking vegetable restaurant and 4 appointments this afternoon!

L:  3 slices of fried green tomatos, green beans, 1/2 creamed corn, 1 cornbread stick with butter, slaw  500

S:  8 oz orange leaf froz yogurt   400

Don't underestimate your progress, believe that those are REAL size 8 jeans! :) Size doesn't matter anyway, the feeling does! :) 1435 kcals is just a perfect amount!

Ty for your comment! first of all scone- yum, I must live through you as I LOVE scones (almost, if not more, than donuts!) what kind was it? yum yum.. As for biking, no hills, and I mean nada, flatter than a 3 year old girls chest around here. We have hot, flat and (sometimes)wind. When I do 'hill' training I ride back and forth over the highway over pass, funny but it's what I've got. In Oct we do a ride down in Florida (this will be the 2nd year) in Mt Dora- Mt as in mountain which really would be classified as a hilly area with one Mt, though the ride my Dad and I did did NOT include the Mt last year. The hills are a big difference though from where we train, so it's a fun and challanging ride. (and my legs were sore the next day!)

  Yesterday is updated I estimated 1600 calories and no exercise due to fatigue from getting up at the crack of dawn and some digestive issues!  Today started off with a 2 mile walk with the dogs, though and I will get back on the good calorie track.  I hae a lunch meeting with buffet today, though and they NEVER have anything that good or that healthy - so will do my best.  I have cooking country style beef ribs in the crock pot on low today and will take them out and put on grill with a bit of sauce and have with a salad tonight......

Sorry wasn't able to comment on diaries much yesterday, but I'll be checking on you all today - so look out!

ALMOST FORGOT to mention - I wore my size 8 JEANS last night!!  They looked good, too!  WITH a FITTED(ish) top!  Nana-Nana-boo-boo!

B:  Ice Coffee and boiled egg  205

L:  Green Beans - roll w butter, 1 Heaping T of BBQ beef (two bites, maybe, 1/4 of a small brownie 350

S:  1/4 (two bies of a cupcake) 50

D:  One beef ribw bbq sauce, 10 sweet potato"fries", cantelope and watermelon 300

S:  Quaker granola bar X2 180

I am so full.  I noticed I have nibbled on sweets today because they were around ALL DAY long!  Better than eating whole things, I guess.  Also, I  did not nibble on Crispy Cream Donuts that have been brought in to our office the last TWO days! 

1085 - can't believe this is all - considering how full I am......2 mile walk -

Later - Scone  350 so 1435 for the day  This is good, because I do not want to go too low.  I am doing OK.
