I have taken a leap and made an appointment with a nutritionist/psychologist.  I want to see if this will help me understand why I eat like I do and am not motivated off and on for periods of time.  We will see.  This will be with the same lady that helped my daughter 5 years ago, so, I feel like she already knows me, somewhat and I know her, somewhat.  Appointment is next Monday.  I have to pay  out of pocket so I hope it's worth it!

Hi everyone - hope your 4ths of July were nice.  I have been gone awhile.  I have been doing OK - but very unmotivated. Probably gained 3-4 lbs.  It's HOT here in KY like most of the country and I've been feeling "captive" indoors which I don't like.  I picked 1/2 gallon of wild blackberries last week and wasn't prepared (i.e. bug sprayed and long panats and sleeves) and got severely scratched up and bug-bitten!  Better now, but Whew!  how dumb was that!  I have probably gained a few (3-4 lbs) but not too bad.   I need to get going on exercise and cut out the sweets!  What else is new?  More later.  This was just true confessions and a new starting entry!

Hi guys - it's me, again.  Sorry I haven't been around much!  No loss -  probably no gain - been busy at work and have started riding my bike again!  Have a great weekend!

I used to love riding my bike when I was a teenager. Then the last time I rode a bike was 6 years ago and it was too hard but I didn't give myself a chance to get used to it. If I had a bike right now that would be a great way to exercise though.

Just a quick note dear Diary Pals

This weekend was so nice - yard sale - made $125 (not bad considering we only had a few things in it.  Friend from HIGH SCHOOL in town and spent some time with her.  Only get to see her every frew years - it was good.

Haven't been counting - not a good thing - but have been walking - 9 miles between Saturday and Sunday.  Going to walk 2-4 tonight with neighbor.

Hang in there, people!.

Yesterday was OK  I'm glad all the holiday picnic food is gone!  Today I had to take husband to drop his car off for mechanical work and he wanted to stop at chick-fil-a .  I had never eaten there but hadn't had breakfast so I got a chicken biscuit - I'm sure it had about 400 calories - but oh well.  

I am working hard in the yard and hopefully that will burn off excess calories .  Last night I went on one of my rock hunts.  I am making a small garden in the backyard behind our swing on the patio. It is beautiful  I got enough rocks off excavated sites near our home to flank the back of the new flower bed.  Tonight I'll go again and bring home more rock.  I probably need about 20 more!  They are FREE and it's fun.  Plus it looks nice.

B:  Chicken Biscuit 450

Day 147 (I think) - Well, this weekend was wonderful - had such a good time - worked very hard in the yard.  Put out lots of flowers and a new bush (a beautyberry).  Pruned all the big trees and burned lots of calories.

Eating - over all was OK - ate lots of high cal foods on Sunday at family gathering (at our house - but worked so hard I think it was a wash).

today so far: 

B:  2 pieces of toast with butter and jam, coffee 350

L:  Banana Pudding 350

D:  1/2 Fried Chicken Breast, squash casserole and corn on the cob (left over from weekend!)  500 

Total:  1200  Worked in the yard and "hunted rocks" more on that later.

Day 141 - Hi all!  Been awhile since I was on.  Just busy - also had really bad allergies.  Haven't walked as much as I had been, but have been walking and except for a couple of days calories have been "OK" 1200-1700.  I'll get to posting more........

B:  Two pieces of toast with honey - hope the antihistimine properties of the honey take over!  But I'm also taking claritin  :o)     350

L:  Subway Tuna - No Cheese -  Light chips and Diet Leamonade 400

Yesterday was OK sitll eating junk and exercising most days - I'll switch to healthier mode soon.  Not sure why I'm eating like this.  Caloroies are OK but nutrition is in the _____

B:  3 donuts  = 600

L:  6 crackers and pnb - no time to go out -  275

D:  With husband and daughter.....who knows?

Day 134 - Yesterday was alright.  atae more calories - wasn't really that hungry but being around restaurant oriented events twice yesterday - whew!  Walked 2 miles with dogs and husband who is home from business trip!

B:  Coffee

L:  My favorite home cooking restaurant - but they have lots of healthy vegetable choices!

D:  Onion Rings and diet coke - small order

Not sure of cals - maybe  1000?            4 mile walk -
