DH and I ate subway for dinner, I was hungry and ate the entire sandwich. It was good and I don't regret it. I ended the day with 2215 calories. This is the most I've had all year.

We went to bed about 9:00, I just knew the dog would wake me up, but he slept through the night which is awesome. I was up at 4:30 and did the zumba DVD. Can't say I'm pleased with the scale, but I do notice my clothes fitting better so I will just be happy about that.

The girl IM'd me last night asking me to tell her dad to delete the comment he made on facebook. First thing I do is go look and see what he posted. I couldn't find anything but a response to one of her posts. It was a Meme that read Name someone who you love more than anything in this world. All DH did was put his daughter's name and tag her. I didn't see anything wrong with that.

Then she Im's and says tell him I'm sorry I have to block him.

Anyway, I told her, OK, I will but I do not see anything wrong with what he posted. You are his daughter too, and for him to say he loves you is no crime! And for someone to say it is is the stupidest thing ever and it's a shame. And because I said that - go ahead and block me too I guess.

So today about 2:30 when the girl is in school I get a reply back: I agree with you and it's dumb that I have to block my dad I am wrong for making it seem it is a problem. - This doesn't even sound like something she would write, but who amd I? I cannot deal with all this drama that comes from her mom's house. I am going to dread this weekend! And then, there is something wrong with my ice maker!! OMG.

Had a crazy Wednesday. I have rosacea and sometimes it creeps into my eyes causing awful irritation in my eyes. So VA doctor wouldn't renew my perscription she told me to go to the eye doctor because she didn't think it was rosacea. OK Dr. Know it all!  It's not like I was asking for narcotics or opiates or anything.

So I request an appointment with the eye doctor and just so happens he could see me in the afternoon due to a cancellation. THank goodness.

Anyway, had a lunch meeting that I had to run out of to make it to my appointment, which is good especially when chips and salsa is involved.

Got to my appointment and gues what...it is rosacea in my eyes. So I have a new perscription and some drops and salve. I even asked so, who is supposed to give me the medication....the eye doctor....the dermatologist, cause Y'all be acting like I need gold or something! He kinda of chuckled and said he would give me the medication.

After the appointment I sat home withSteve for an hour before I went to pick up the girl who has missed the last two days of school because of an illness. Anyway, she went to her counselor appointment, I spoke to her briefly and left the girl to do her business. She said she wants to go back, so this is always a good thing.

DH made some crazy burrito bake thing that was just ok.

L: chicken quesadilla, refried beans, salad, some chips and salsa - was very frugal with this

S: laughing cow cheese

D: burrito, refried beans, corn, cheese bake

Ending the day with 1311 calories

I'm an disgusted with the scale and have an attitude today. I did not get up to do Zumba, but I will do it tomorrow.

I'm throwing that idiot thing out of my house for now!

Thursday was filled with conference calls - webinars and lots of people talking...talking...more talking

Missing school in middle school isn't too good as it becomes a lot of work to make up surely! glad she wants to go back.

i have never heard of rosacea in the eyes. i hope you feel better. oh do you mean on your eyelids?

no it's in my eyes. I get ulcerations on my cornea that sting, itch, burn, scratchy, painful. It is awful. It flairs up once or twice a year. The doctor explained it like - a scraped knee on your eye.

Happy Valentine's Day. I'm not to keen on it. DH gives me a note in my lunch everyday, so everyday is special for me, except it is my Mom's BD so that in itself is very special.

Just home last night. I walked my dog, slowly he is getting back to normal, but he is still kinda skittish.  For dinner I had two of the quinoa crunch patties, salad, avocado and 2TBSPS of ranch dressing. I ending the day with 1514 calories.

Sunday when I was rearranging the cabinets, because I couldn't find anything I got a charley horse in my right calf, it hurt so bad, it is still sore today. Anyway, I did get up to exercise but the minute I walked down the stairs I knew it wouldn't be pleasant so i went back upstairs and tried to go back to sleep. I couldn't - So I just laid there with my dog, DH was still asleep.

B: Special K breakfast sandwich, iced vanilla latte

S: apple

L: ham, cream cheese, avocado on tomato basil wrap, orange

S: balanced breaks

D: supposedly rotissierie chicken, could change

no plans for anything tonight...everyone enjoy your Valentine's Day!

I am glad that everyday is a happy, loving day for you. I had no idea that DH spoils you with lunch notes! how sweet!!

Dinner sounds tasty...good, healthy fats of avocado. I think i need more healthy fats in my diet, for sure!!

I don't know if I told you but I did find the quinoa patties at Aldi's. I have yet to prepare one for lunch though. Other foods keep getting in the way, LOL, but now that I'm out of the veggie burgers from Morningstar Farms, the next time I'm out of lunch options, I'll be making a quinoa patty

I hope you like them. I enjoy them with alvacado and ranch dressing. No bread. I've only had them in the air fryer so I'm not sure how they would taste in the over or toaster over. About the same I supposed. HAve a good day.

Friday night -

DH and I decided to drive to Sandusky. We had Subway for dinner. I only ate 1/2 my foot long - this is such a victory to me. In other days I would have stuffed myself to finish the sandwich. Get to Sandusky and this store doesn't have my yogurt, what the what? I find something I like and then no one carries it. I have on more store to check and then I will politely give up. Ended Friday with 1349 calories.

Saturday

I woke up with a headache but decided to get up and move around because I did have errands to run.

I started out taking my dog to get his nails slipped - he hates this so much. Then I went had got my new car registered and picked up the tags, then I headed off to Pat Catan's to get some things I wanted to make treats for work and ended at the uniform store to get DH some more shirts to stain up at his work. I had wanted some stew but when I was out at other stores, I found a huge bargain on ribeye steaks so I bought them for DH to grill for dinner. All in all it was a good day and I stayed busy and for once i wasn't thinking of food!

B: yogurt

L: bacon jerkey

D: ribeye steak, cauliflower tots and salad

After dinner I made a cake to make the cake pops with and made a cookie brownie. Normally DH and I would have had this devoured in one night, but we only had a 2" piece. (230 calories). I ended Saturday with 1345 calories.

Sunday

I was up and doing laundry, again there were things I wanted to get done and instead of just 'changing my mind' and not doing them...I actually got them accomplished.

Swept and mopped the kichen, three loads of laundry, made the cake balls (this is my first time trying and getting them dipped in chocolate was the wost experienc ever in my life) I made 24 cake pops. I dipped 48 pretzel rods in vanilla, chocolate, salted carmel and peanut butter melting candy and packaged it all up nicely and then I made the cherry chip cupcakes and decorated them. All of this was for work and there are still six pieces of the cookie brownie I made Saturday night left!

I was in a hurry to get all my stuff done because I needed my fill of the Walking Dead and was happy to watch it again.

B: Kings Hawaiian Toast, iced vanilla latte

L: quinoa crunch patty, ranch dressing

D: pork loin, salad, brocolli and cheese

bites, licks and tastes were all counted and I finished Sunday with 1412 calories.

Needless to say all those treats are in the breakroom and all the staff is eating them instead of me or DH!

Slept pretty good all weekend except for waking up with the headache. My face is stupid and breaking out again. This rosecea is terrible and it has crept into my left eye. I will have to call my PCP and renew the prescription, that I shouldn't have let run out.

Was up at 4:30 and did the entire 55 minutes of the zumba workout - so happy I finished the DVD.

B: Special K Bacon, egg and cheese flatbread sandwich

S: apple

L: ham and cream cheese wrap, gold fish, cake pop

S: orange

D: quiona crunch burger, avocado, ranch dressing

No drama this weekend and was very happy. Have a great night!

Which brand / type is your yogurt! that stinks they didn't have it but maybe there is something just as good! i know what you mean, i went to buy ground turkey on Friday and the store only had Ground chicken! ouch! so i got the chicken, but totally wanted the turkey!

I made mashed cauli last night...should be tasty as i added one small piece of butter, garlic, pepper, salt.

i know what you mean - it feels good not to be lazy and to get a lot done...

gotta say - lately i'm doing more too. as my legs have gotten stronger, i am not wanting to be so lazy. i think part of my problem with never wanting to cook was the fact that my legs hurt all the time and now that they don't....its easier to get stuff done.

kings Hawaiian toast sounds...i wonder what it is!

It is a brand - Usually Kings Hawaiian roles but I found some sliced bread. Funny thing - DH burned six pieces in the toaster before he turned the toaster down. I guess this cooks quicker than wheat bread. It is very sweet.

DH and I picked up the girl and got home. They showered and I made the goulash. It turned out pretty well, but I think I added too many noodles. I ended the day with 1373 calories. I'm ok with this. DH and the girl went to pick up a presecription and I washed the dishes. DH told me the girl told him she can no longer go to her grandma's house because apparently the grandma said something bad about her step-dad. Poor girl.

Went to bed about 10:00 but my dog wanted me up at midnight. I was up for about 45 minutes and then went back to bed. Was up again at 4:40 to get the zumba in. I did about 45 minutes of zumba and drank some iced tea.

I had an appointment to get blood work at the VA but I forgot all about it until after I ate breakfast. I will reschedule it for another day.

L: left over goulash, orange, balanced breaks

S: sting cheese

D: probably Subway

DH and I are going to Sandusky to the Meijers grocery store and he said something about Ryan's but I don't think I will be eating there, no self control some times. We will just eat at subway before we go.

I might to subway tonight also...this would be a really salty day for me then...since breakfast and lunch were salty too...but...at least they weren't sugary also!? right!?

i thought goulash was like a veggie dish? i am thinking of a sorta stew / sorta side dish of mainly squash cooked with eggplant also and tomato in a light sauce...i want to make that !!

i get you with no self control - easier to stick to usual routine food...unless you got some really healthy veggies at Meijers?

Sounds like you're doing very well! One of my co-workers loves Zumba too. This is something that I cannot do because of lower back problems, and I'm not much of a dancer either, but she says she has a LOT of fun :-)

I was unable to walk the dog, a snow squall passed through right after we got home from work, glad we didnt' have to drive in it. DH air fried some chicken and we had some brocolli and salad it was all very good. Finished the day with 1501 calories. There are a few items I can take off this list and will not eat them - like the breakfast bar and gold fish that is 360 calories I don't need. I eat them because they are in my lunch box.

B: yogurt, oikos and iced vanilla latte

S: apple

L: 1/2 ham and cheese sanwich, orange, gold fish

S: balanced breaks

D: I am making goulash with a vegetable, probably green beans

We have the girl tonight.

DH and I have some plans tomorrow, again weather pending. I wanted to go to the Home and Garden Show so DH says we should go right after work. Saturday we are driving to Sandusky to go grocery shopping...because they have the yogurt I want and my vanilla latte drink.

Was up this morning and did 45 minutes of zumba and had my Acai berry green tea. I am starting to enjoy this and miss it when I don't do some movement. So maybe I will stick with this for awhile. I may try the C25K again when the weather warms up. I got 2/3 of the way through it the last time we tried. So high hopes! Enjoy the evening!

i get ya...when something healthy is aruond (work vending machine) or if i buy it - i'm gonna eat it. best thing would be not buying them...your hubby is being a bad boy!

goulash sounds so tasty! I am gonna i think make one soon...I am enjoying cooking my own food...it's crazy how fast i eat it up though!

45 min of zumba is so good for you. I am also gonna try jogging little by little after this spring. i think in summer i'll try again.

We got the girl and went to Cracker Barrell for DH. We just didn't feel like cooking and what better excuse than birthdays!! I'm okay today but still...

Was up at 4:30 this a.m. and did the short workout (35 minutes) of zumba, relaxed on the sofa with my Acai berry green tea. I did wonder upstairs and take a shower. It's amazing how time flies getting to work, but then it just seems to stand still while here.

DH received a message from his doctor telling him good job on getting his blood sugar under better control and he is now approved for his partial knee replacement surgery. I asked him to schedule it before the end of the month so I could be here while he's healing. If he can't do that he will have to wait until I get back in March from my mini vacation to get this scheduled. The sooner the better though, I know he has been in pain for the last nine months.

I may try to get the dog walked tonight. He has been really skittish and not wanting to go - I'm thinking he's scared of the dog that snapped at him, he hasn't been the same since. I am very sleeping at work today, so I might also get to bed early - that is 10:00 pm for me.

Time does fly getting to work...i must leave earlier...been getting to work late around 5min late everyday. I always make up the time - but it's not a good foot to start the day out on!

yes, i hope he's able to schedule the replacement for earlier rather than after your trip also..

Oh Monday -we had grilled pork chops, cauliflower tots and  riced caulfower and sweet potatoes. I ended the day with 1416 calories.

DH was falling asleep early so he talked me into going to bed at 9:00. This will not happen again. My dog was having a fit of itching and scratching and his tags kept jingling me awake. I finally got up at 1:00 and gave him a bath with the soothing pet shampoo. I guess he figured out I was just trying to help him and kept still enough to get finished. I stayed up until about 2:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. And then when I did I was having crazy, stupid dreams. Needless to say I didn't get up with the alarm went off at 4:30. And I forgot to put my fitbit back on - didn't take it out of the charging station.

We have the girl tonight.

S: sweet and salty almond breakfast bar

L: 1/2 peanut butter, gold fish, apple, orange

Today is a slow day at work - making it last forever!

Went to dinner with DH for his birthday...again! Big mistake...big - Ended the night with 2599 calories - this includes Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, three biscuits and a goo goo cluster! I will just get up and go tomorrow and do what I've been doing!

Feeling a little angry at myself- but will be better tomorrow.

That's a nice mix - the riced cauliflower and the sweet potato. must be good on digestion too to add the sweet potato so it's not only the cauliflower which bloats like crazy. i would do that same mix nice! thanks for the ideas.

Work has been crazy slow by me also. I can't complain as it's better than being too fast. I may have to stay late tonight - which i refuse - so i actually will have to work faster today as I'm doing an assignment that shouldn't take more than a couple days :/ I like to take a lot of breaks...and realize i have to!

I also get frustrated when my calories go too much above 2200 because it becomes annoying to balance them out for the rest of the week. But you'll be ok....and you've been doing great. so one day isn't going to make or break you. but def get back on track asap! :-D

Friday we get the girl and get home - DH cooks chicken in the air fryer and we have riced cauliflower and some kind of kale quinoa mixture. It was pretty good. Afterwards the YAM (Young adult male - DH's son) comes over and makes his first car payment. He stayed and visted for DH for a few hours. My DH takes the high road and tells his son - "Don't wait four years to talk to your mother, life is too short." the YAM says, yes I know. I seriously doubt those words left the mom's mouth the last four years regarding DH's and YAM's relationship. It is good now, I just hope it lasts. It is funny how he texts me about things. He is proper and respectful and spells things correctly - actually I'm very surprised about this. I hope one day he finishes school. I ended the night with 1365 calories

Saturday we were supposed to go get the title changed over but the YAM had to work and DH the girl and I went to Vermilion to see an ice festival. DH normally works on Saturday so this was really nice and I loved walking around the town looking at the different ice sculptures. There was even free hot chocolate and cookies. I only drank half my hot chocolate and gave my cookie to the girl. It was cheap entertainment. Afterwards we go out to eat for DH's birthday. It is actually tomorrow, but since we had the girl with us, we we ahead and ate out.

B: crumpets, peanut butter, iced vanilla latte

Late lunch: turkey, avocado BLT on ciabatta bread, I had some onion rings and a few chips with spinach and artichoke dip

S: yogurt

The girl and I went to JCP and Sears looking for a purple outfit for me to wear at my BFF's wedding next month. Settled on a skirt and purple top.

Ending Saturday with 1622 calories - this is a lot for me

Sunday - I was up at 7:30 and was in a cleaning mood for some reason. We ate breakfast and I started laundry. I took the vacuum and cleaned along the kitchen base boards getting all the crumbs and pet hair up that the broom just totally misses. The YAM came back by and helped DH carry part of the sectional to the basement so now I have the couch and two chairs in the living room - lots more room! I also scoured the stove and got on the burned on gunk off. DH cooks buy he rarely cleans - he is a sloppy cook. The girl left about 5:30 and we just listened the the super bowl, really didn't care about who won or lost.

Late lunch: steak, caulifower, corn

S: yogurt, gold fish

ending Sunday with 1473 calories

Was up this morning at 4:30 and did some Zumba and had some regular iced tea - I might add another exercise element in here....maybe

So yesterday was a FO day...called in sick for a mental health day! I just couldn't adult yesterday.

I got up about 8:30 and was watching TV when I talked myself into Zumba...I couldn't let it go. After Zumba I ate a late breakfast and did a lot of nothing, except feel guilty for not going to work.

Brunch: crumpets, maple peanut butter, iced vanilla latte

D: meatloaf, potatoes, salad

S: yogurt

I didn't sleep well last night. The dog growled at me to get up for some reason. I stayed up from 12:00 - 1:30 and then it took forever to fall back asleep. I was up again at 4:45 for Zumba. Drank my Acai berry tea, showered and yes...I did arrive to work today.

Felt even guiltier by everyone asking if I felt better, uh....sure!

D: chicken and something not sure yet

Wednesday we had fire roasted corn for dinner. It was a steamable bag from OraIda or Green giant, not sure which but it was the best corn ever.

Great calories. Sometimes you just gotta take a break if it's allowed especially. I took an extra day off too (Thursday for a concert...and yesterday just to relax and sleep in after the concert).
