Hello all,Hope everyone's doin fine.Went to the docs this morning and I asked her could I start coming every month to get weighed.Think it will give me an incentive to be good ;-).Start properly tomorrow but not been too bad so far.Had some sweet egg waffles :/ when I got in from work.Then lunch was ham and cucumber sandwiches.Using garlic and herb soft low fat cheese instead of butter.Also 1 Satsuma,banana and a small portion of fruit cocktail.I've lifted some turkey mince out of the freezer,but don't think it will be defrosted in time,so poss an omelette and salad.I do suffer with pain in my gut when I do have too much fruit and veg so i'll just fill up on water.Just walked for 20 mins with Alfie,my back was giving me jip so hopefully it will improve in time.The sun is shinning,first time without my coat on this year,making the most of it,as next week here in the UK it could be lashing down :( Little baby steps for now,still got a sore heal but just dealing with it using thick insoles so I may try the gym in the morning after work ,but very slow on the treadmill.Feeling positive which is a good start,bye for now :-)

Enjoy the nice weather while you can. I've been trying to get some sun exposure when I can rather than taking vitamin D. We have been in a drought for about 4 years, so when it rains, it's very welcome and I won't complain:-)

Hellooo,Been AWOL for a while,been a little under the weather with one thing and another.Having some "Lady issues" and just a couple of more tests next week to see if all is ok.My eating is out of control so need to get back on track before the good weather comes.Everything has to revolve around food doesn't it.Just had easter lots of goodies to tempt you with (if your that way inclined!!)My brother's 50th tomorrow so we are going out for a meal :/ and when u have no willpower it's even harder work.Still got the sore heal.Two other people at work have it and they are way thinner than me,so I know it's not weight related,but it doesn't help.Bought myself some 'comfy' shoes,jeeze I am getting old!!On the food front,i have some oranges that need using up and an apple so I'm going to juice them,used the juicer for a while then ended up in the cupboard gathering dust,but if I have too much can give me gut ache.Any good juicing recipes will be much appreciated.I'll be back later,when my day is coming to an end,bye for now

I need to do the same with my juicer--carrot juice is refreshing to me with just about any other veg or apple added.

Hello,Another good day yesterday.Fifteen minutes walk in the afternoon.Evening meal was turkey and mushroom curry with broccoli.Really enjoyed it.This morning did a little extra on the treadmill 20mins,and did a little extra walking with doggles twice round the fields instead of the once,the ground was rock hard,icy ,which was playin havoc with the heal.Put some stewing beef onion and leek in the oven,peeled some carrots and potatoes,and going to roast some parsnips with that, smells devine.Just come in from a twenty minute walk,lovely and sunny but nippy glad no snow hate it.Have a great day everyone :-)

Morning all,chilly one here zero degrees when going to work.A change of menu last night for tea.Got to the fridge remembering I saw some cottage cheese, when I came to it ,it had Novembers date on,oh dear think I need to clear the fridge out more often.Was glad really wanted something warm and satisfying,Found a packet of garlic mushroom risotto.Just add water and stir now and again for 15mins.Added some more chestnut mushrooms more flavour I think than button ones.Also some celery and leek lots of black pepper yum yum.Took the insole out of my work boots and my foot seemed a little better but still not right.Managed 15mins on the treadmill 150 cals burnt.Came home did the girls sandwiches,Had 2 slices of bread low fat garlic and herb soft cheese with a slice of ham.Took Alfie out for 20mins ,quite fast walking too.Now I'm drinking a cappuccino there unsweetened and I just add sweetner,my treat.So that's my morning so far,I'll report back later :-)

The risotto sounds really delicious. Hope your foot heels. Love the name Alfie for a dog, I suppose? We had a Golden with arthritis, and walking did seem to help him stay limber. have a good day.

Hello all,foot still painful despite having some paracetamol.Tried the treadmill this morning but very slow only for ten minutes.Knew I had to take Alfie for a walk so didn't want to do too much(twenty minutes with him)moderate speed.Had a sore heal about two yrs ago together with a verucca :-( took a while to go used thick insoles which I'm doing now,went to the docs he wasn't much help.Anyway foodwise up to now ,had 2 large oranges ,a banana sandwich, sliced roast pork with a thin layer of apple sauce for lunch.Time to take Alfie for his other walk.It's a nice dry sunny day here,and no wind and 5 degrees.Doing well here not to get snow yet compared to other parts of the country.I'll check in later,not too sure what is on the menu for tea,need to start planning meals,ta ta Enjoyed that walked about 15mins on the grass whilst he ran,then walked around the perimeter of the field so all in all 25mins put my good sturdy walking boots on.Alfie was diagnosed with arthritis about four months ago as he had a limp that wouldn't go away.Started him on some glucosamine and green lipped mussel both for joints he's a lot better .He has anti inflammatory just in case but didn't want him to be on them long term,touch wood he's a lot better and no need for painkillers for at least two months.Well thinking of tuna,cottage cheese, fresh baby plum tomato. cucumber and a little coleslaw for tea,and yoghurt  and grapes if I need to(hunger pangs :-D)Well going to finish off the hoovering,keep busy,bye for now

Hey I'm back after that week long of birthday eating treats :/ Just come in from shopping bloomin starving so had 2 slices of wholemeal no butter and a banana and just soaking some sultana bran in skimmed milk,like to eat them soft not crunchy.Plan to get back into the gym tomorrow slowly though.I've got a heal spur I think there called, and it really hurts wen standin,so baby stepsand  not a bull in a china shop like I normally do.Sunny day here in the UK but the wind is icy,so I will go for a walk with alfie later I think.My sister has not long been outta hospital after a major op so going to take some flowers for her.Wating for my older daughter to get back to me so I can pick her up from friends.Younger daughter came in yest and amazed me really saying she is starting working as a volunteer in a charity shop from today so I'm enjoying the peace :-)Going to live off chicken and turkey,bought some pork steaks for a change.Need to sort the battery out in the scales get weighed tomorrow just for a guideline,then hide them don't want to get obsessed.Ill be back later.Going to get my daughter to take a before picture of me,as they say here the camera never lies :-D Well I did a twenty minute walk round the field not as much as I wanted,but better than sitting on the couch.Hubby making my tea.Turkey with vegetables.Had 3 small oranges when I came in from visiting my sister,very refreshing.Just had to order some batteries for the scales.I'm now in pj's Its nearly 6pm here, but like being comfy and not in tight jeans,hopefully not for long,Ta ta for now :-)

I had Plantar Fasciitis (http://www.heel-that-pain.com/plantar_fasciitis/) in my left heel for a few months... Very painful. Look forward to seeing more from you.

I have heal spurs on both feet. 12-15 years ago they injected both heels with a steroid(?) shot (it hurt- I won't lie) and had me off my feet for 3 days (that came as a surprise) and after that I was good as new and never had to have it done again. It was SO worth it. But they never claimed it would last forever. Some people have to have it redone every few years. Just be prepared to miss a few days of work if you work standing on your feet all day. Belated Happy Birthday wishes.

Doing well,had a little blip yesterday.Weather picking up so been having salads mainly and bought a smaller loaf 400g size instead of 800g.Done a fair bit of walking.Thinking of getting some lightweight sketchers,a little pricey for what they are but it's like everything isn't it,till next time :-)

Helloooo,Well thanks to the DDwebmaster I can write a post from my desktop wouldn't let me,and something so simple to do with the settings.Anyway I'm back to try and shift some weight before summer if we get one that is.Just come in from shopping and got all healthy stuff,hubby a little miffed because there was no pies to put in his belly from shopping(he needs to loose some too ;-)Had some easy peeler clementines,take daughter to college soon,then have some granary toast with chopped tinned tomatoes and lots of black pepper when I get back.I need to start back in the gym slooowly,but I will do the usual doggy walkin first.Hope your all doing well,i will post as often as I can because it does make a difference and does make me be good,till later then :-)Had breakfast a little later than normal due to having a sleep as I was up early.Chicken salad for tea,small fruit jelly with chopped banana glass of water.Cup of tea with three fruit biscuits.Pew day 1 nearly over.

Yo dudes :-) Well hopped on the scales yesterday morning and have a 7lbs loss hoorah.Over endulged the day before massively but knocked the cals back without being too stupid but have exercised plenty to limit the damage.Well my bite is less itchy thanks to the tabs and ointment but still looks hideous on my face.Usual salad and cereal but teatime i did some mushrooms leeks garlic sliced chicken and some tinned toms and lots of black pepper yum yum so here's to another new week, i'll get to comment on diaries later going to pick hubby from work,don't you just feel like a taxi driver sometimes,back soon take care :-)

Oh, that bite must be painful! Congratulations on your loss! That's wonderful. Dinner sounds great. RYC the taxi thing - well we just burn up too much fossil fuel over here! We haae too many cars. My next goal is to be able to ride bike to and from work without much trouble! Ha!
