 Thank you for your congratulations. I am feeling pretty good so far this pregnancy. I am 7 weeks and I don't feel morning sickness yet, so that's good. Everyday that sympton doesn't show up is a good one. 

I've been trying to stick to the amount of calories I would need to maintain my current weight. I read up on the whole eating for two concept, and it's only a cute saying, unfortunately. I read this book by Dr. Oz, and he says you basically need to maintain your weight the first trimester, and then after that I kind of forget the rules (I'll read up when I get there) but it's something like 100-200 more than maintenance levels per day, averaging in a pound gain per week. during the last 20 weeks. 

I think maintenance levels are about 1950-2050. 1500 for BMR, 100-200 for nursing my almost 2 year old sometimes, and then 400 for exercise (4 miles each day). 

Maintaining your weight is trickier than it seems, although I managed to accomplish this goal for years when my old goal was to lose! There's irony.

I found out I am pregnant, so I'm going to have to reevaluate some of my goals, but I'm really excited.

B: EZ toast, spread, 3 egg whites, 1 egg, black coffee, prenatal vitamins. = 300

I got a really good workout in yesterday. I ran for 45 min at 5.5 mph (jogging really) but I managed not to stop and I ran through all the times I wanted to stop, so I am feeling proud of myself and also relieved that I am able to do it. Today I am sore and my legs feel wobbly. 

B: 4 egg whites(70) 1 egg (70) tomato salsa (10) 2 slices of EZ toast (160) spread (100) coffee (5) nf milk (25) = 440

L: L: McDonald's grilled chicken salad w/ dressing (420)1 decaf w/ 2 creamers (40) =460

S: apple,(80) banana (100)=180

D: Boneless skinless chicken thigh (140) asparagus (100)=240
 
 
S: 1 cup Greek yogurt (120) w. blueberries (80) = 200
 
 

Total =1520

Have a good day!!! Good job on the run!! What I do for running is for 2 mins per run I increase it 0.2. Then I increase the mins each week by a month you'll be able to run at 5.7 for 45 mins....Good luck!

MIssed posting my menu this morning and so I ad libbed my lunch and snacks, here's hoping I managed that well.

B: 2 slices EZ (140) spread (80) (1/4 cup 1% milk 25) coffee (5) = 250

L: 2 cups Turkey Curry soup (220) 1whole wheat roll (120) coffee w/ splash whole milk (40) = 480

S: Banana (100) apple (60) snack mix nuts (360) = 520

S: child size bean burrito (200), cup tomato soup (120) cheese (100) yogurt (30) = 470

Total = 1620

S: banana, apple, orange = 260
 
L: Spaghetti squash (80) 3/4 cup sauce (45) cheese 7 tsp (70) =195
 
D: 1 cup rice (220) 2 cups frozen veggies (140) 1 tbsp b&butter (45)=305
 
S: 1 1/2 cup yogurt w/ frozen bberries =260
 
S: Toast w/ butter = 240
 
Total = 1610

 I've been really terrified of posting here again, but I really like this website and I need the help keeping my diary, so here I am. I've regained a lot of the weight I lost, but not all of it. I stopped planning my meals, counting calories and just ate more food and less healthy food. 

B: Oatmeal (175) Raisins (65) Apples (55) Honey (64) Coffee (5) Milk (25)+ crackers (78) = 467 eaten

Also, I'm going to start copying my meals from when I was losing weight and eating what I ate then. Another reason this website is so golden for me. 

I made a giant document of the meals I was eating when I was losing weight so that I can just use them as a menu. 

L: Salad lettuce (15) tomatoes (20) small avocado (140) 2 tbsp vinegar and olive oil (120) 2 oz chicken breast (200) = 495
 
D: 1 cup brown rice (220) 2 cups frozen veggies (70) 1 tbsp spread + 1 tbsp nutritional yeast  (70) = 360
 
Total = 1322

There is no right or wrong way to go about this.. I think eating sensibly, exercise and counting calories is alot better than the "fad diets" anyday.. You have this girl!
