Yesterday was a so,so day. Thanks for the nice words, I feel better although I still have a cough... Yesterday, I ate pasta (cheese filled tortellini) for dinner just because I didn't feel like fixing something extra/healthy/different for me to eat... just ate what I fixed for my family... today, I'm planning something healthy for everybody to eat for dinner: bean salad and grilled chicken breasts.
The photo bellow (near Praca do Comercio) was taken the same day I took yesterday's photo - the weather in Lisbon changed like mad throughout the day! I liked the mood of the rain, chestnut rosting smoke and umbrelas in this pic, though... Voila' KathyBlue, more to come.
Today is going to be a good day!

I'm back after being in bed for nearly a week due to a bad cold and asthma... all is well now. Trip to Portugal went very well, what a beautiful place! I did a lot of walking while sightseeing, but it was not easy with my asthma situation - those streets in Lisbon are indeed steep!

I'm still having a hard time getting over my cold. Weight is about the same, but I think I lost about .5 pound in the last 2 weeks. I hope my vacation next week will put me in a better mood for I'm downright depressed with this gloomy weather around here. ...

I got so inspired by KathyBlue's photos of Portugal (the blue skies are just incredible) that I decided to go there this winter break - my daughter has a week off at school next week, so we are headed to Lisbon.

I'm back after nursing a cold in bed for a couple of days - I had a bad headache and just couldn't function. All is well, in fact I felt well enough on Sunday (yesterday) to clean the house thoroughly. I feel renewed. Diet is ok, not good not bad. Will start up again as of today. Stay well, folks!

I walked/jogged yesterday for 1 hour and got blisters on the bottom of my feet, LAWL. Must remember to wear thicker socks from now on....
I didn't do too well last night with food - I felt dizzy and felt that I'd remedy it with food. I know it doesn't make sense, but that's what I did... today is another day and I shall do better.

yes, this is Rua Augusta :) I love this street. This is the Main Main Main street of Lisbon. The weather is soooo stupid!!! And it continues! :-( I hope you tried the chestnuts. They are not bad for health, on the contrary! :D
