I walked/jogged yesterday for 1 hour and got blisters on the bottom of my feet, LAWL. Must remember to wear thicker socks from now on....
I didn't do too well last night with food - I felt dizzy and felt that I'd remedy it with food. I know it doesn't make sense, but that's what I did... today is another day and I shall do better.
Breakfast: coffee, toast

I did very well yesterday, yay, including a 1 & 1/4 hr brisk walk. More of the same good stuff again today, I hope. One day at a time.... Have a great day, everyone!

I did fairly well, yesterday: healthy and moderate food portions. Trying to keep carbo low but not always possible. Weight has not changed although weekend was a danger zone. Will do my best, today - started out well with muesli for breakfast. One meal at a time.... Have a good day, everyone!

It's just some much harder to stay on track over a weekend - there is too much going on to concentrate. It takes a bigger effort and will power since everyone is asking what's for breakfast, lunch , dinner, snacks...
I'm back to my weekday routine with a cup of coffee, some muesli and a lot of that old positive attitude. Have a good day everyone!

I didn't have much time to eat during the day, so in the evening I was so hungry and ate too much. Overall. it balanced out - so, I'm not going to spend one more minute thinking about it. Plans for today includes walking and balanced eating.

I walked last evening for over one hour and I feel it this morning! It's a good feeling, though... 2 days in a row! yay for me!
It's been so COLD in the past day or two and it's so dark in the morning until 8 am. Can't wait for the longer day light and warmer weather....

lunch: calico beans, roasted veggies (zucchini, leeks and bell peppers)
dinner: pasta, garlic bread

Just thought I'd say hello. Exhausted. Just got back from being with Mom at her doctor appointment. Then afterward did a little shopping for her. Then after shopping for her, visited her at the nursing home, taking her some new things.

Weekend was good, very relaxing and lots of reading by the fire... eating was ok - didn't go overboard on anything in particular. Found out we are having guests this spring, yay! Many people decided to come visit us since this is our last year in Geneva: 2 sets of visitors in the spring and 2 sets in the summer. Looking forward to having them over!

I DON'T agree with Mark Twain on this one, but I thought it was clever. Maybe he was just a picky eater... As for myself, I have been eating all kinds of things indiscriminately, just trying to watch my portions.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, it must be so hard for you! Dementia is such a sad condition, my only hope is that she will recover from this latest injury as quick as possible. Stay well! Best wishes!

I love the snow but I loath the traffic jams that result from it. Yesterday, I got stuck in traffic and could not deliver my daughter at her class - we had a good time chatting while stuck in traffic, though... ;D
I had a few too many peanuts and dates late last night, so this morning I don't feel hungry at all....

LOL, great exercise. I recall seeing pictures of runner's feet - some horrible blisters and black toenails on long distance runners!
