Happy friday everyone!
I think I am back for the most part! I have been traveling for the past month for work and needless to say....it has been a STRUGGLE. I know I've gained some unwanted weight back. Probably around 5 lbs, but were gonna work on getting it off this month.
Mr. Hubby comes home soon! 2 more months and were home free! which means...i still need to work out hahaha
As for me? Im trying not to stress out too much. Month of June will be interesting to say the least and im suppose to be on travel for another 2 weeks, but dear lord I hope not. If i have to eat anymore pizza or fast food with the men i travel with i may cry :(
BUT today is a good day so far! Still working on the army stuff. I got to present my EOD paper I wrote at Johns Hopkins to some Army peeps and they seemed to enjoy the presentation. At least I can say my research is interesting to someone other than myself!
June 28th I go home to NY....Id LOVE to be down an inch or 2 but we shall see. Not gonna stress about it tooo much.

Today im gonna strive to do them and increase the number. Goal is 70 in 2 mins. Right now, that is definitely not possible.

SO! This morning i did a physical fitness test. My results:
2 mile: 12 mins (I had no idea I ran that fast. First mile I ran in 5.5 minutes!)
sit ups (2 mins) : 50 :/
Push ups (2 mins) : 74 whoo hooo (no knees!!! Like...military style push ups! who knew i had this in me. Thanks shaun T :) )
Needless to say, i need to do better for the sit ups....Well get there!
The sit ups are a special sit up routine. Instead of using my body to come down, i just need to flop back on the ground after each one. It hurts your head! Also, need to have your legs 90 degrees and not have to go all the way up....I was like "what the heck kind of sit ups are these!". Hands also on the back of your head and elbows extended....If they gave me a plank to do for 5 mins, i can do that.....200 crunches in 2 mins, no sweat. BUT sit ups are just difficult for me......

Started today on the right foot! Its getting nicer here so today i was able to go running outside for a bit! Still kinda sleepy, but hopefully some caffeine will take care of that!

Hello all! I am back!
SO those that have fb have seen but those that havent, I've decided to put through my application for officer candidate school for the Army. Ive been struggling with this for about 2-3 years now....I think I even brought it up back in 2011? The reason? I want to be a role model for girls these days. Nothing against Miley Cyrus or Lindsay Lohan, but I want to send a postiive message, especially when our country needs it most. Why the Army? They have the best program for what I got my degree in lol. I'm sure as much as Zach hates it (marines vs army goes way back) i think hes really proud.
Anyway, the is application is almost complete BUT that also means I need to be on top of my game. These 2 past months have been TERRIBLE food and workout wise. After being sick, it kinda just went downhil....SO TODAY is the official Day 1 of forever lol.
Whats sad though is that the recruiter told me I need to lose 10 lbs in 2 months. Not because I'm "fat" but because I need to get my running time up and itll help. SO as much as I HATE to do it, I need to watch the weight,.....again. Crap. Ill be careful. Yes, I will. I have been going to all of my therapy meetings and now know what to watch out for :) < UPDATE: The losing the weight number is kinda bothering me since im at an okay weight! I think what im gonna do it not worry too much. If it comes off, it comes off. If not, ill still end up running faster by practice!

MKAY! SO lots to update.
So those who know I've been doing Insanity....this is month 2! Its hecka hard! I've decided that since the past 2 weeks I have been feeling less than stellar....I'm gonna repeat month 1. I'm not ready to go straight into month 2. Doesn't hurt to be prepared right? I just don't wanna hurt myself.
I have to go to the Army Recruiter tomorrow. Why? Ha because now that I work for the Army, I've learned that "when you work for the Army, you deal with the Army needs." SO, the Army found out I know a bunch of "valuable" languages and now the Army wants to talk to me lol. Since I work for the Army, I can't say no........Bahaha Soldier married to a Marine. There have been worse things. BUT thats for tomorrow...Also, tomorrow I go to the dentist...Lovely,....

Hooray! I am healed! My tummy and me are working together finally. No sickness and I can go back to working out!
Sadly, I have backtracked a whole bunch....Probably a good month of so...but, i know what needs to be done, so Ill be back eventually to wear I was once before...
Our re-enlistment decision is coming up and poor zach is haunted by this. He has an option to stay in as a tank crewman or....get out and figure out from there. His problem is he doesnt know what he wants to do when he gets out which is scary......Well figure it out, its just terrifying lol.
Plan is to eat healthy and workout and not get off track too much!

So the doctor told me I need a day to eat "badly". Im going to trust her since she is also a fitness model. Guess who was right??? Tummy feels slightly better (still kinda iffy, but im hoping it passes by monday). She said that it could be my body telling me "LOOK! theres only so much healthy food i can take, give me a break". Apparently, ive been eating too much "gassy" food...gotta give myself a break maybe. Never knew that could be a remedy.....
SO, Im gonna attempt to go workout now...Wish me some luck! Tomorrow I redo my measurements and "start" over, which kinda sucks because I know I've lost some muscle and gained some weight back. Good thing I have enough motivation to get myself back on track.
