Up and out earlier this morning than most. Made a nail spa apppointment for 10:30 a.m. on purpose to get me up and going.

Already done the 30 minute living room circuit. First time I've done any exercise before eating. Another reason for the morning appointment. Trying something new sometimes makes me find a "like" to stick to. So far, not feeling tired like most afternoons/evenings affter circuit or walking cause. Shall see how the rest of the day goes. Errand running, grocery shopping,etc. Feeling hopeful that energy level will not fall out. :)

30 minutes dance, weights, row machine,recumbent bike, Body by Jake (alternate between songs)

10 oz. acv drink

Steel cut oats, drizzle of honey, raisins, English walnuts.... d. coffee

SF d. vanilla latte (planned to grab on the way to town- treat every 2 weeks when doing the only thing that's "pampering"/ cut, color, highlight my own hair... A woman has to have something someone else does for her ya?!?!?!?)

Has been a good day. Sprinkly rain this morning and cooler temps today, but it's o.k. The time change is going to take a few more days to get used to I believe. It's a night owl nightmare at times. And Paul's got a horrible cold... Restful sleep comes when Meg is out the door @ 6:45 a.m.

Yesterday ended great. Hubs did go on a walk with me to see if his sinus' would free up... They did with the cool of the evening air. Being one to like waking alone most of the time by choice , to have him go from time to time is an uplift in just the willingness to support me.

10 oz. acv drink

2 corn/sesame seed cakes, SB p.b., 2 hard boiled egg whites, grapefruit......d.coffee

3.25 mile walk (here's some of the view)

Sandwich (tuna,tomato,avocado,provolone), orange

Plain almonds, unsweetened coconut

Diluted pure cranberry juice w/ squeeze of fresh lemon (32 oz. total)

Supper: TBD

What a gorgeous view! It's nice that you were able to enjoy a walk with your husband and get some fresh air. We're almost back to tolerable walking weather here, within a couple of weeks it will be warm enough.

Going to continue doing what I've been doing with the walking, dance/circuit routine and eating habits. Just getting this bright sunshining morning into full swing here at 10:00.  But wanted to change the "current weight" ASAP after feeling this change coming on over the last week.... It's actually a pound less, but don't like to change to a bigger number if there's a fluctuation in the future. A mental trapping of sorts it becomes. So down by 2# to make it less than 100 to go and the medical scales so much closer to being able to not use the "250" slot!!!!!!!!

Doing good..... Staying on track....... Fit into a pair of jeans today comfortably that were a ways from even buttoning 6 weeks ago. Poundage isn't budging, but progress shows in more than that number  game.

Bought a pilate stretch band today that has the long bar. Trying to save strain on the left shoulder that weights cause.

Weather has been a dream for this time of year making the walking very pleasant. Sun, no wind and the needle settled on 72* today.

2 sl. Ezekiel cinnamon-raisin toast, boiled eggs-1 whole/1 white, banana, d.coffee

10 oz. acv drink

10 minutes dance

LS V-8

3 mile walk

Nonni Decadent Biscotti (110 calories- satisfies that dark chocolate crave from time to time)

That's great news on your jeans fitting (and the weather!) I looked up those noodles and it sounds like they're similar to the soba noodles I make. I do a dressing with sesame seeds, tahini and a few other things and it's really tasty!

The brand I get is one that's 130mg sodium and a lot less ingredients than a couple other brands this "big package" store carries. It's a treat every other month or so for the family. Their supper was noodles, BBQ pork and broccoli.

Been on track since last entry, just struggling emotionally some. May be subconcious working as I went down another 1/4 on the b.p. medication on Wed. night. System adjustment also is part of the weaning process they say.. About like when going on it, some tiredness,etc... Down to 1/2 pill for 2 weeks now. Feeling better today. Been keeping busy, got in a dance circuit and then continued to move n groove while folding laundry/doing dishes today. I love music!!! Heading for a walk shortly with a friend. Good thing, cause sisterly friend called and wanted us to double date night tonight. Pretty safe to say I'm not concerned with eating out, cause it's going to be @ Buffalo Wild Wings.. I don't like hot wings, nor real saucy foods. Checking out the menu online before we are out the door.. She's not a meat eater, so our husbands will be the most satisfied I'm sure...

Banana, frosted mini-wheats, hb egg, d. coffee

Salad, no sauce chicken and shrimp, fries and 3 fried pickles. Had a doggy bag, but when us girls went shopping (BWW is in our mall) my husband forgot it on the table... It's o.k., just saves me those calories :)

I have a 35-60 minute music track (songs I've put into a list on Spotify via the laptop) for when I dance, row machine recumbent bike, use 2 x 3# weights and Body by Jake. Changing activity w/each new song.

Been awake since 3:45 a.m. due to Paul's work phone ringing. That time of year! Decided to not go back to sleep in order to keep from sleeping til noon. I'm a super hard sleeper after everyone is gone of a morning in routine, but trying to break that habit. Need to do more everyday moving the body besides the exercising. A power nap may serve better purpose if needed than the turning back over and ignoring the rationalizing/pep talk with self. Laid in the bed til 6:30 doing the internet thing then got up n moving.... Made the first brewed pot of coffee in over a week (Keurig is the go-to), steeped the days worth of teas and already had breakfast cooking overnight......

Weather is suppose to be up near 70°F come the weekend. Seems odd as I type this and it's 28°F here @ 8:30 a.m. and today foreast 56°F.  Will make sure to take advantage of it. Not typical for around here..... I know some are dealing with the polar opposite with ice/snow/rain not used to. Keep safe if your one of them!

Knowing already end of day, when all said/done... It will feel good to of gotten up early and STAYED UP.  With that I'll say "Off to see what kind of  trouble can be stirred up before there's witness'."

Just a poopy day for energy/want to/gumption.... Staying on track food wise was a workout of it's own it seemed.......... Second day without meat. Not on purpose, but just how it turned out. Lots going on with sis-in-law and yesterday I may of worn body out moving furniture/ lifting and helping my aunt when she called to ask me "whatcha doin'?" in the middle of me working on my own mess(es).. She's preparing for the seasonal opening of the antique store she has a vendor space in not far from our home. Wanted some input and wound up doing more than she anticipated. Cause that's the way I roll. Speak it, I'll try it with approx. measurements/space, move it, step back and maybe move it again... Thankful for the time we got to spend together no matter. More like sisters than aunt/niece. 

Thus, here today was blahzay and praying Wednesday's turn of waking I'll get up instead of turning the t.v. on, getting caught up in doing minimal necessities and sweep out some cobwebs that took up residence in mind just this one day... All it takes to start getting off track sometimes. Can't risk it!

Cheerios Protein w/ English walnuts (no milk)

Grilled Sandwich (Ezekiel raisin cinnamon bread, fresh mozarrella), HR chicken wild rice soup (mostly no broth)

Weekend was behaved. No walk outside of everyday tasks and at a hospital & nursing home (parked far out in the lot and took the longest routes to the rooms) on Saturday.... Sunday was a.m. & p.m. church services along with resting in between after chasing the 100% natural lemon juice I use in the daily acv drink around town. Same owner, 2 stores completely across town from each other (one had 15 bottles of lime, the other 20 lemon- silly)...

Saturday;

Plain Greek yogurt mixed w/hemp hearts, LS V-8, d. coffee

Sandwich (Ezekiel toast, tuna, avocado, thin slice monterey jack), black grapes

Repeat of Saturday sandwich, pinto Benito chips, orange

Popcorn

H2o= 80+ oz....Misc. herb teas

MONDAY:

10 oz. acv drink

2 scrambled backyard eggs w/ hemp hearts, black walnuts & brocolli, black grapes, LS V-8...... d coffee

2 corn/sesame cakes, SB p.b., apple

Plain almonds, bite-sized Snickers

10 oz. acv drink

Nachos (Beanitos pinto chips, l.s. black beans (strained/rinsed), mozarrella, avocado)

Meh.... Wednesday (today) will be better. Although; wake @ 4:00 a.m. to Paul's phone ringing (temps in the lower 20's of a night for 3-4 days has the shop hopping right now day/night) and temptation already to turn over and sleep til noon sounds mighty fine. I won't let it happen!!!

Yesterday was a day of grocery shopping and a short thrift store stop. Planned to get fingerails tended to one last time by our favorite techs, but they had already closed their doors due to an emergent health condition that came about just 3 weeks ago :( knew the closure was coming though. Sis-in-law's appointment yielded another acute procedure this morning for a port to be put in for dialysis to begin ASAP. Meaning, the doctors aren't all on the same page as should be. Thinking she was already on dialysis, but not and her kidney specialist is pretty close to hearing from me!!! Not that it'll do any good but my brother is about shot physically and emotionally due to the stress that flares his own poly-cyctic kidney/liver disease. Still yet to hear if they are going to start the routine today. That was the hope of the vascular surgeon at least.

 

Today will be a living room circuit day. The nice weather streak has ended. Rain , wind, cold are here for today at least. Got enough rain sprinkled on my head yesterday when Meg and I were on the last mile stretch when the breeze brought in clouds that weren't there when we left home. Went with a friend and usually drive the mile down the hill, but wanted to get in extra with the forecast of today. Sis is going to be staying the night with a friend, Ben may also be gone. So maybe a quiet evening at home watching a movie with Paul if he doesn't want to go to bed early (working 6 days a week right now). Been a lazy day so far. The warm balnkets keep calling my name when someone calls or texts... Need to get moving, eat and probably go try to find a nail salon after taking Meg to her friends. Pitiful as it's a little after 1 p.m. and not done more than have. Starting a fire in the woodstove may help my attitude

Yesterday we did get to see a faint rainbow when arriving home:

Not sure what today holds. Up @ 5:30 a.m. and now just a little before 7, preparing to go grocery shopping. Sis-in-Law's got an appointment w/vascular surgeon after an emergency visit to his office for an ultrasound that revealed the bovine artery transplant surgery is causing to much blood flow restriction to her lower arm. If not tended to (not sure how), it will cause sores and tissue loss in her forearm/hand. She's always been a complicate case. 

On a very good note.....I still am getting a chuckle w/wide smile. Last night as I was zipping up my new Levi's (first pair I've ever owned and bought a couple months ago-feeling loose ) to head to prayer meeting, hubster was getting ready and looked over to say "hey babe, your missing some butt".... NOW that's a reward in itself for the hard work/effort right there. 

Have a wonderful Thursday.... And remember, your worth the effort you put into yourself to be healthy!

Menu/Exercise to be determined - Too early for me to eat breakfast, but will make sure and eat before 10 a.m. today for a change.
