Lost my first four pounds. Feeling great! Hope everyone is doing well! Can't believe its almost new years :D

One of the things I've also started to do along with dieting/ exercising is quitting smoking. Man is it tough. So instead of smoking right now, I'm posting so I resist the urge to go outside and smoke haha I ate generally good today.

Do you guys have any tips to help with willpower? Mine is definately lacking in all aspects and its something I would really like to work on .

Progress as of today: 0 lbs lost so far, only 70 lbs to go!

I think finding other stuff to do to fill your time (instead of eating and smoking is good). I can also say that exercise helps put me in a better frame of mind - it makes me feel more positive about life in general, way more energetic, and way more enthusiastic about being healthy overall. My good friend has been smoke-free for just over a year and I honestly never thought she'd be able to quit. She used the e-cigarette and said that was a big help to her, otherwise she just quit cold turkey. Have a good one!

I hope your day went well for you..As far as motivational tips with the weight loss, mine is a picture of me at my heaviest on my fridge, and although I am at goal weight I keep it there as a reminder of what I don't ever want to be again... Anyways everyone is different as far as finding things that are motivating, but ya have to dig deep, I am sure you will do it :)

I've read some of the fellow posts and I wanted to say I think its great how y'all support each other so much. I love seeing the progress on side of how much everyone is losing. Its really inspiring. I'm currently on day one of juicing which I am doing with one of my best friends. It helps detox your body and helps you switch over to eating all raw which has ultimately been my goal. I've fluctuated my weight before from 200 up to 260 and back down to 210 then up to 250. I began to reevaluate what I was doing. I looove bad food and I lack self control so I thought by juicing it would help detox my system anddd help me work on self control with food. Help me change my life and my eating habits. Also, I thought I would join this blog and blog about things instead of eating hahahaha Anyways the documentry fat,sick, and nearly dead is a great film that shows a man who juices for 60 days and all the benefits if anyone else was interested in juicing or anything. Its on hulu. :) well its nice to meet everyone!

Welcome to the group, you'll find lots of support and helpful info here! I'm not doing the full P90x schedule, just the yoga and trying a few of the other classes here and there. I really like Tony Horton's teaching style and he offers options for all levels of fitness in his classes. Best of luck to you.
