I suppose I should be pleased with my five pound loss...
Since the day following my previous entry I've been busting my butt with this "new plan"--daily exercise and being more calorie conscious, but my efforts by no means seem to be reflected on the scale. I was expecting to be MUCH less.
Sigh..I suppose all I can do is continue on the same path and slowly bring myself to the realization that it's going to take some time to get this weight off. Perhaps I'll wait until Halloween to weigh in again.

Hello sweetie.. your right.. the weight isnt going to come off over night.. as much as well all wish it would hehehe.. but It didnt get there over night so it wont leave us that fast either.. also.. the slower you loose weight the more chances are you will keep it off :O)..If I can make a suggestion... what I do is measure instead of weighing..well, I cant weigh yet. but even when I can.. I wont.. my friend that is doing this new plan with me.. she weighs every week.. and sometimes cant wate that long..lol.. then she gets up set.. and it can be any thing.. water gain.. muscle gain.. thats why measuring is much better.. I do it once a week.. and to tell the truth.. I would much rather see inches leaving then pounds.. remember.. muscle weighs more then fat,,, but it definds your body to the way it should be.. so you might try that ok.. just to save you getting down on yourself and taking the chance to back slide.. my friend didnt loose any one week and she was all upset.. thinking of quiting and just eating.. but she didnt .. thank God.. for example.. just this last week.. she only lost 2 pounds.. but she lost 8 inches.. :O).. to me that 8 inches looks alot better then that 2 pounds hehehe..
Hope I could help.. :O).. smile sweetie.. your doing great,, Keep it up .. hugs

Those 5 lbs. represent 2 months effort for me. The less you weight, the slower it comes off. For me those days of 2 lbs. a week are LONG gone! BE HAPPY with your five pound loss! Good job!
Keep in mind it will take time and you MUST be patient. It's going to take as long to take it off as it did putting it on. Don't stop, whatever you do.
