ok, i still havent heard any thing about korbey comming on. i,ll try it again.they said it would be 24 hours...the poor guy, i told you that he stayed over at a friends house last night., well when the got up this am, all the kids were having cereal and he refussed to eat any, saying i cant cheat, i,m starting my diet. well, we had a long talk about this diet thing.i told him that he didnt need to loose that much weight, so he was just gonna cut back.he wants to do the atkins, and i will let him, but not to the tee. i,m thankful that some of you are concerned about this, but i have talked to him and he understands that he will not go over board . i will not let it get out of hand.. he really just needs to loose his belly, and what they call love handles.so, we,ll watch it.
as for me, i did good today, breakfast...2 eggs...lunch...small salad, ..dinner...fish and broccli...still need to work on more water...
worked alittle today, the ran out of stickers..went to get some and ended up workng there again.so, now i have to get the other done in th am.well, i guess ,l let you all get on with the other entries, thanks for stoping by, love you all, lisa

Goodmorning. Don't know if I am up to that challenge or not. Wish I was. Been very bad lately about food. You seem to be doing very well and I am proud of you. I love your enthusiasm. Keep up the great work. Hugs

Good things come in small packages. If it's only us we'll do a slam bang job by ourselves. You sound busy as ever. Take care, Pam

I'm back, and reading some DD posts! Thanks for all your comments earlier this week, I was away and too busy to reciprocate.
I think your son joining you on this will be good for both of you. Kind of funny about the cereal! Hope you straightened that out with him.
I'm sure cutting out the sweets, and then a slight cut back on the foods, and definately some type of activity is all the growing boy needs. Hope it works out for him. Can't wait to see what a 10 year old writes!
I'd join your June goal, but I don't eat sugar anyways, so it woulnd't be a challenge. However, I KNOW that it's a good one for half the planet (women!:) and am looking forward to seeing you all do good this June! Good luck!

Hi Lisa--
what exactly do u mean by no sugar??? hmm....im not sure about that!!!
About korbey--maybe he should jsut cut back o what he eats, and eat lots of veggies and fruits instead of doing the atkins. If Korbey is young then the atkins might not be the best thing for him. his body is still growing so he needs lots of variety. Also, ifyou teach him how to eat healthy now, he will lose slowly and gradually, but also he will learn HOW to eat good fo rthe rest of his life!
Aww--i feel so bad about the cereal thing, it reminds me of when i went on my first diet (i was 10) and went to a sleepover where everyone was eating pancakes in the morning and i wouldnt have any cause i didnt want to "cheat". Ahhhh....childhood memories hehehehehehe :)
Have a great day sis, Love, Meg

This is the reason Korbey hasn't gotten his password. I wrote an email to jay who runs the board and this is the message he sent to me regarding my friend Ronnie. This is a copy of the message. Hope to see Korbey on line soon. Good Luck.
The mail server is on the fritz. Have your friend send me his email address (the one he signed up with) and I can manually send him the info.
It's a mess, I know. :(

I just can't be in the sugarless challenge. Not yet.... I am a sugar addict, really, but I am trying to work around those cravings, for the first time in my life and actually meeting with some success. I would rather DIE than give up sweets right now, I think :) I have 25 cal hot chocolate with fake whipped cream, every evening or when I get a sweet tooth. I also am eating alot of fresh strawberries now with Equal and fake whipped cream; and those little fatfree Jello chocolate puddings. I think that I will write in my entry tomorrow what I plan to do for my own June challenge.... I am forulating that in my busy mind :) I so want to encourage YOU though, and mochagirl and Pam. It is a fine thing to work as a team toward a common goal. I really like the idea of these monthly "themes". Well, it will be sweet to see Korbey's name come up on the list! I keep looking for that:) I want to tell you that the things that you said to me, to help me, to offer some courage were very dear. There was NOTHING about them that I didn't accept with your kindest heart. I only thank you! Thank you and thank you. I am so lucky for such honest friendship, Lisa. And it is making all of the difference in my success with this diet AND with the eyes that I am using to look at my overall situation. Your point about the definition of marriage was RIGHT ON THE MARK! Brillian! Good luck to you there in your world, today, in all that you do! Your friend, Connie

Hello and how are you today? I don't think I can do the no sugar thing. I like gum and hard peppermints too good. I take them to my classes. Good luck though. I am going to send you some willpower. I admire you guys gor this. More power to you. After reading pinkus entry, I don't know if she is on it still. Keep up the willpower and chug water for me. Sherri

How old is your son? I would be careful of putting him on the adkins diet or any diet if he is still growing. Talk to the doc first...I'm sure he will put him on a good one for his age. Your doing terrific and I hope it continues. Have a great day today!

oH YA...About this sugar thing? Do you mean NO sugar...Oh boy I don't know If I can handle that one! lol But maybe I will try it for a week. What do you think about that? If I can do it a while week I can manage a month. I don't think I know what no sugar means lol EVERYthing I eat has sugar! I was looking through my cupboards and even milk has sugar in it. And I need my milk that's for sure! Maybe I will try low-sugar lol. I am really excited to see how you guys do though! It should be interesting. If you know of some foods that don't have sugar pass it on my way ok! I will practice.

Did you get the copy of the e-mail that Jay the Webmaster sent me regarding why Korbey hasn't got his password.
Here is 2 sentences from the book I just finished, its titled "Fast Food Nation." The rate of obesity among American children is twice as high as it was in the late 1970's. According to James O. Hill , a prominent nutrionist at the University of Colorado, "We've got the fattest, least fit generation of kids ever." So Mommy of Two I applaud you for nipping this in the bud, and getting Korbey used to eating nutritious food.
