sparklejones - Monday Nov 22, 1999 Weight:181.1          (Weight Watchers)

What a week! We had our annual Jubilee Celebration at church last week. It was an exciting time of ministry and fellowship. Afterward, the guests have refreshments---boy, did they have refreshments! Fresh fruit, taco salad, cheesecake, sweet and sour fish, spinach dip, chicken teriyaki, fettucini alfredo, greek meatballs, peppered steak/rice, tequitos, crab wontons,belgian chocolates, cake, cake, and more cake. Yikes! I'd better stop because i'm getting hungry at the thought of all that delicious- looking food. ***Notice, I said, "delicious-looking." That's right, I managed to eat very little of all the delicacies. Overall, out of the 4 days of refreshments, I only had 2 slices of cheesecake, 2 miniature crab wontons, and 1/2 cup of taco salad. Aren't you proud of me??!! I can't believe that I will be out of the 180's in another week or so. I haven't seen the 70's in a couple of years. I don't think i'll have much of a problem with overeating on the holiday. My hubby and I aren't cooking---we plan to house hop; and far-be-it from me, to make a pig of myself at someone else's home. ;o}

I'll go to the gym during the morning of Thanksgiving. That'll help ward off the holiday pounds. Well, I'll let you know how I fare when I weigh-in next week. Have a blessed and thank-full holiday!

Great going and I think once you do that each time you get stronger and stronger. The active members of this forum are dropping weight steadilly, everyone is serious and it is so so encouraging, keep up the good work.


Comment left by thinjen on 11/29/1999: Hi Sparkle. Thank you so much for your comment. I would love to hear anything you can tell me about the Challenge. Can you do more cardio than he says in Body for Life? What I mean is on my weight training days, can I do some cardio after that. I really want to lose as much fat as possible during the 12 weeks I'm doing this.
