Well after I ate and it seemed like I ate and ate some more yesturday ~lol~ I stepped on the scale this morning and I was down a pound! Of course, what I did eat was nutritionally good for me, I got that fruit in yesturday and went shopping for some more last night. This morning I'm starting of with a banana with my coffee. My total cals for the day yesturday was a tad under 1600. (I'd link this to FitDay, but I honestly think I'd mess it up if I did lol and unlike here, I don't make my FitDay public) All in all, I ate all day, went to bed feeling fine, though apprehensive about hitting the scale this morning and now that I have checked, I'm elated! Yesturdays exercise was limited to Tae Bo for 30 and 2 miles (at a pretty slow pace for me) at the track. I was so tired last night I feel asleep early and didn't go blading.
Tonight hubby and I are going to a 'mixer' about a new product called Advocare. It is a weight management/peak performance etc type supplimental program. I've been on Atkins suppliments for several months and hubby has wanted to look into this program. I don't know much about it, but a good friend of his is the local supplier. His wife has gone from a size 16 to a size 6 since Jan 1. She has never been below a size 10 in her life. Hubby has been talking about looking into this for a while, and since I am about out of everything suppliment wise, I told him if he wants to look into something new, now would be the time. My personal supplimentation is mainly for nutritional needs these days, but I do take an eac stack for 3 weeks out of the month (weekends off) and this would replace everything I take, so we'll see what they have to say tonight.
Only 2 more days of a group of 5 regarding children, then I'm down 2 for a whole month. You bet I'm looking forward to it! I love being able to just go do things, and while I can fit 5 kids in my car, it's kinda a tight squeeze.(not to mention somewhat LOUD at times, despite my constant reminders to be quiet in Miss Gina's car!) I think I'll take them to the park today if the weather is good.
Oh, I did get my final results in the mail yesturday, I made a 98 on the final and my overall average was a 94 for the class. I'm just glad I'm done with that one. I'll drive up tomorrow sometime to pay for my next class and buy my books.
I'll check in later, have a good one guys!

Don't give up the fruit. It is indeed good for you. You don't have to eat a lot of it but it is something you need a few servings a day of. Glad to hear it is going so well for you. Keep up the good work. It is confusing at times. But worth the effort. You are worth the effort. Be good to yourself and have an awesome day today. Hugs.

Congrats on the good grades in your class! I know you're glad to be finished with it.
You'll have to let us know more about that product and how it works, when you know.
Have a great day!

Hello and congrats on the pound lost. Great job and keep your willpower sky high. I have the TAEBO tapes but I have never used them. How good are they. I would like to try them out. Well keep it up. Good job.

Congratulations on those great marks and for a good food day yesterday. I would caution you about taking supplements, although you already take them, don't become reliant on them. Most of them are an expensive waste. But you make your own decisions of course. Keep up the good work!

Your BMR is only an estimate. I think FitDay is a great tool, but some of their numbers seem kind of odd to me. The BMR seems kind of high, and the calories they give for excersizing seems low compared to other sites.
1500 calories a day is probably really good. I've been averaging 1200 for the last 2 months. (and I'm a 6'5" 300+ pound guy) No clue if I'm in starvation mode though, everything seems normal to me.
THe guy at onefatman.com site has been on his diet successfully now for 1 year, and I think his average was just over 1500 calories a day too. (He was even bigger than me) Plus he had diabetes. To give you an idea of our BMR's, it was around 4800 calories a day.... and no, there's no way he or I were eating 3,800 calories a day.
I take one Centrum vitamin a day, and eat raw veggies most days, and excersize every day, and feel like I can do no wrong. For a female, I might watch the Calcium & Iron and feel the same way.
Anyway, good luck! You're doing great
