Did ok yesterday, stuck with the food plan. Todays been good so far too, bagel with margarine for breakfast, Italian wedding soup and one small piece of pizza for lunch, dinner temporarily unclear due to baseball game, but soon to be determined. It's cold and grey here. I wish summer would come. Fits my mood. I need a night out with the husband--maybe Saturday. Take care all, Pam P.S.Sorry for the boring entry today.

Not "boring" really, but no one could accuse you of living in high drama :) I am glad that you did have that okay day yesterday and I am also hoping the very best for you today in ALL areas. Yes, Pam, get that night out with your sweetheart. That makes me smile and I just want to make the call myself, for you, for those reservations! Tomorrow the end of your work week? And the first day of you-know-what. I am thinking that you CAN do this thing and I am thinking that you aren't the strongest one we have on board here with the self-confidence that it will happen. But I feel so sure that you are determined and I salute you for that and for many other things. Take care of your precious self. Connie

Hey Pam. Thanks for the suggestions on the light cooking but remember first that I am not doing low-fat, just lowER fat, and also I am still restricting my carbs. Most of the times when you have low-fat products or recipes, they often substitute either sugar or something that has a lot of carbs (sauces of various kind) in order to make up for the taste and juiciness that would be there if there was more fat involved. Actually, I may start adding a little bit more fat back in because I've found that although it was hard at first, I am now actually getting a bit too low on the fat. Although my "low" would probably still be high to people doing the typical low-fat diet, it is very low for me, and I think this is contributing to making it harder to adjust...

I know of such things and I know of men such as yours..... true lovers and it is the truest in acceptance. The type that is welcoming of us in our wholeness. Here is a weird one: There was this dark of night when I layed in the bed and felt my hand on the length of my thigh and I felt somehow "worried". Worried, as if I might disappear if this darned diet worked correctly. Had to tell you that and since you just HAVE to be our resident therapist at times (and especially mine) I did it. Now! You know! You know what kind of woman you are dealing with here! Be good to each other you two little lovers :) Connie
