dvdmon - Thursday May 31, 2001 Weight:145.5          (Low Carb - Protien Power)

Ok, yet another day here at 145.5. Wonder if anything will budge soon. I just am amazed because my average intake over the last several days has been like 1200 calories compared to the previous 1800! Then again, I haven't really been exercising much either. Today I couldn't take a walk because I left my cell phone at a bookstore that I went to in the mornin and so had to go pick that up and then get lunch. After work I helped one of the new roommates move some of his stuff. Not really exercise - didn't get close to breaking a sweat! Tomorrow I am meeting another coworker for lunch, so I won't be able to do anything then. Maybe tomorrow after work I can finally go to the gym or something. Actually today I probably wouldn't have been up to anything even if I had the opportunity. I felt like I was coming down with something most of the day - my throat felt scratchy and I generally felt kind of achey. So I've been trying to combat it with Zicam. We'll see if it's still around tomorrow. To top it off I've had this pain in my stomach most of the day. I'm hoping it's not from the venison I ate last night - which was a bit rare in the middle when I ate it... So hopefully tomorrow will be a better day overall. It's been so nice out here too the last few days, I'm really missing my walks! Oh well, maybe I can try to do some over the weekend. The one good thing that I was able to do today (other than just generally following my current eating plan) was to get a decent amount of water in - over 2 liters. I still want to improve this - in the past I've gotten up to 3 on a number of occasions. I've heard of people doing 6, which I can't even imagine! But I've heard people actually say that the more water they drink (to a point, of course), the more easily they loose...

Comment left by diva on 06/01/2001: Hey Levi Baby!!! How are you today? Great I hope. I want you to know that I drank over 5 liters of the yucky water stuff yesterday. Do you have a challenge for June, because I will send you some of my famous willpower via e-mail, hehehe.

I knew it, I gave you my sickness, what ever it is I have. Very scratchy throat, I had to get up in the middle of class yesterday and leave for a few minutes because it felt like a tickle in there and I kept coughing.

I am going to buy me a role of film today and take a picture of myself, all dolled up of course, and get them developed and send them to you. You might fall totally in love, but we will cross that bridge when we get there, LOL

You better watch eating that half raw little poor deer. Personally, I don't like the taste of it, and when I have to fix it for my family, the smell of the blood is soooo strong, it makes me ill. YUCK!

Well, I will say good-bye. Have a fantastic day and keep that willpower sky high. Chug that water!!!!

Comment left by halley on 06/01/2001: I've lost 3 pounds this week, I really think it's because I've been drinking 4 litres of water a day. I drink most of it before noon. It's so easy for me to drink it in the morning, much more difficult in the afternoon, and forget about it at night!!!


Comment left by SoccerMom on 06/01/2001: Why is it that the water is such a stumbling block for most of us, lately? I'm forcing myself to drink more now, after barely consuming 24 oz. a day for the past couple of weeks. I was drinking hot tea and juice, because I was sick...but that's really not a good excuse. Hope you're not coming down with the nasty cold-type virus our family just had....it drags on for a couple of weeks!

Comment left by pastagal on 06/01/2001: Yes levi,,i beleive the more water we consume the better we lose the weight and inches,,,when i first started out i was drinking anywhere from 9 to 10 ,,16 oz bottles of water and found i lost faster and felt so much better,,tho i was spending alot of time in the bath room;} i am now trying hard to get back to consumeing the 16 oz bottles at least 6 times a day ,,,and when i do i feel so much better,,,sure hope your tummy ache doesn't get worse,,sometimes ya gotta watch eating your meat real red in the middle,,well hope you have a nice lunch out with your friend and have a wonderful weekend to:}


Comment left by adam on 06/01/2001: I haven't measured the water I'm drinking (I've been back on the wagon for almost two weeks now) but the one thing I hate about dieting is having to stop work to pee all the time! :)

We went to a movie the other night and I went before we left home, had to leave in the middle of the movie, and was about to burst by the time the credits rolled. Next time we go out I'll have to remember to stop drinking a couple hours before the movie starts. :)
