adam - Friday Jun 01, 2001 Weight:295.5          (Fresh Start)

I finally updated my waist measurement. Gak! My belly is almost 5 inches larger than it was a year ago. Well, it's still smaller than the 60" I started at, so that's good.

I walked for about 45 minutes this morning and made it good and brisk. I need to remember to keep the pace up as high as I can because besides burning fat, I'm trying to increase my stamina. I shouldn't huff and puff going up a single flight of stairs. Or several flights, for that matter. :)

Did I mention my blood pressure was 138/80 when I checked it Wednesday evening? I want to go back today and check it again since one reading all by itself isn't all that accurate.

I found a couple business tapes to listen to so now my walking is much more enjoyable. And this afternoon when I walk again (I'm going to try to do two 30 to 45 minute walks per day) I'm going to stop by the library and see what kind of tapes they have. I'll bet I find a lot of good stuff. I might also try a novel on tape, although I've never listened to a book, before.

I still haven't watched the Fresh Start videos. There's probably more stuff I can do to increase my weight loss. I need to do that this afternoon.

Next week I spend 4 days at the office. It's going to be hard to stick to my diet because everybody always wants to go out for lunch, so I'm going to have to watch it. I think I'll be doing a LOT of praying next week. :)
