Hi everyone. Thank's for your wonderful responses and support. Yes, MichelleP, I do go to a psychological center here on campus to see a psychologist once a week, but I am not sure she is particularly specialized in eating disorders, although I was told she is. I sort of think it's a waste of time. Maybe it's just me, but I think it's not particularly helpful to me because my bulimia is not particularly caused by my emotional state. I don't use food as comfort or stress relief. Most of it seems to have become a habit that I just cannot break and an awfully easy way to control my weight. Also, I just don't have time to "work" on my eating with all the school work. They keep drilling the idea of "3 meals/3 snacks" into my head. A very good idea indeed. If only I had time for doing that. Half the time, it ends up being chinese food, and in the middle of the night on top of everything. I don't even like chinese! :) Plus, I live with my boyfriend, and we put in the money for food 50/50. Sometimes I match him in how much he eats, despite the fact that he is much larger than me. Getting my money's worth... I guess slight greed is not exactly a good excuse for binging. But sometimes, I do indeed grab seconds when he does. This is what I had so far today: - 2 pieces of rye bread with hummus - veggies salad (tomatoes, spinach, peppers, canned peas, corn) - ground turkey and white rice
-It's about 5 o'clock right now. But I am not planning to go to sleep till about 1. So I just ate lunch... Well, that's it for now. I am gonna go read some entries and make some comments
Hi,
Sorry to hear the psychologist is not what you were looking for. I have a daughter who has alot of mental health issues, and we have tried so many different ones, its hard to find the right one.
I am usually sound asleep by 10 LOL , I am getting OLD! Take care and have a wonderful weekend!!!!!!!

Hey - tell the boyfriend to pitch in more so you wont feel the need to overeat to match him! Easier said than done huh? Well - keep working at it -- hopefully you'll get in a good groove.
