Yanno, I don't even KNOW how long it's been since I wrote here, have I made it here since the new year? (scratching my head) yeah, I think so because I know I said hubby and I split up and got back together again (and are doing AWESOME) and that I was smoking and was quitting, so I know I have been here. Still I'm surprised my computer could find it as it seems so darn long ago none-the-less... Oh well, such is life sometimes. A friend of mine sent me an email at one time which said something along the lines of, 'friends come and go from our lives, some are there for a little while, some come and fade away until we need them again, some are always there...' I love quotes and such, wish I could recall that one at this moment, but what I was getting to was DD kinda faded for a bit, wasn't gone, just not the 'priority' or 'need' that was topping my lists for a while. Things are balancing though in life, and I find as life is balancing there is a 'empty place' I need to fill, that spot where I would once log miles run per day/week or aroebic activity or (gasp) strength training. These days I'm afraid to look at the dust accumulating on my weights but the time has come to blow away the dust bunnys and get this body toning/weight loss thing going again!! Last Saturday evening I spent the greater part of my evening in my local hospital suffering (possibly) from kidney stones. It was never confirmed, but the pain...o.m.G!!! I was DY-ING!!! No wonder they compair it to childbirth eep! Since then I've been pushing more water and far less caffine, hard when I'm a sucker for coffee and tea, but I am so not going to go through that hell again if I can help it. With that in mind I am more determined than ever to watch what I eat and drink plus work in (moderately of course, at least initially) the exercise factor. I joined an online thing, $10.00 a month and they plan and chart my exercise and do the daily motivation thing, yada yada.. sounds ideal for my style actually. I figure $10 was enough commmitment to obiligate me without wondering later why I had done such as thing and a better 'getting back into it again' investment than a piece of home exercise equipement that would end up in the corner of my bedroom with my bras and hubbys socks flung upon it. I did buy a stability ball this week, which has been a fun new exercise toy, as much as I hate crunches, I'm more incline to do the stability ball exercises than then 'traditional' ones. Also just got a new running book in the mail today "No need for Speed" by John 'The Penguin' Bingham for and runners out there, he writes monthly in RW mag, gotta love him... anyway, going to read some of that and watch 13 ghosts tonight. Spent today walking around at a local festival, after working half a day (til 1ish) I did so good, no blooming onion, no funnel cake, damn I surprised myself! I did have crawfish etoufee (sp?) It was the Crawfish Festival and that is the dish I go to eat yearly. YUMMMMM OKay guys, I think I have bored anyone who is reading this long emough. For me, this will be a weekend writing thing most likely. I love to write, but weekdays are sooooo full. UGH, what man though up this darn 40 hour work week idea??? ~grin~ Hugs all

Hiya, FireBabe! Welcome back! {grins} I've missed you. ...and (BTW) thanks for mentioning a blooming onion. That sounds sooooo good. Awww, shucks. I'd better go get sweaty again until the visions of crunchy coating and southwest dipping sauce passes. LOL
Hugs!
