For anyone interested in exploring one plant-based diet.

This is a comprehensive (extremely) overview of a starch-based diet along the plant-based diet spectrum. For instance, it doesn't include refined oils or animal products (including fish) as the "Mediterranean Diet" does. He wrote his original book in the 1980s and the diet has not deviated at all in that time.

The evidence covered by the success stories on his site speak for themselves. Not too many people at any given moment in the US are vegan or vegetarian, much less "no-fat-added" vegans/vegetarians. This was cited in a recent survey. One of the biggest motivating factors for people to adopt and adhere to this kind of diet is a dire health scare or simply being overweight/obese and the ills that may come with it over time (aging).

He was featured a bit in the movie, Forks Over Knives.
