Positive - Well. Um.
It turned out we didn't run on Friday because the friend I run with went camping for the weekend. I suppose I could've still gone out myself, but I didn't. End of story. Anyways, she was gone for the weekend, then last night it was raining hard so I haven't been running since Wednesday of last week. We're going to try today and so far the weather is on our side.
The weekend was pretty good; we had our ball wind-up on Sunday and that was a little disappointing because only 30% of our team actually showed up for it. I wish they would have let us know they couldn't make it; perhaps we could have rescheduled it for a day when everyone (or most everyone) could be there. It was fun anyways. I made yesterday a couch day and watched a couple of movies and caught up on some tv shows. I've been trying to watch Being Human to see if I would like it, but I can't figure out when it's on the Space Channel. I even went so far as to check online for the schedule, but got nowhere. Q'ue Cera!

Positive - It's Friday!!! I will take a nap right after work today. Oh yes, I will.
Well, we lost our game last night 11 to 7. What a bummer; we didn't play our best game so the other team definitely deserved the win. We still managed to whoop it up after the game, so i'm feeling slightly under the weather this morning. Add my cold into it, and it's just going to be one of those days! Today i'd like to blame a teammate for keeping me up far too late (2:30am). It's always someone else's fault, don't you know I need my beauty rest?!
Running is part of the plan for today, so i'm really hoping I can fit a quick nap in beforehand. Otherwise i'll be a royal pain in the butt by that time. Oh gawd, it's going to be a long day.
I really needed (yes, needed) a mocha this morning so I went through the drive-through. Requested a mocha, paid for it, received the cup and came to work. Opened it up and... blah. Double double. I am so not in the mood for creamer. So I dumped it ($1.75 down the drain) and i'm drinking water instead. But I really *need* a mocha. It's my comfort food.

Positive - One more slo-pitch game tonight - A-Final!!!
So I took that cold medication yesterday morning and reacted to it. I became woozy and nauseus and Just Not Right. I tried a different kind of medication after lunch, and by around 3:30pm was feeling much better but stayed at home for the afternoon to rest.
I did go running last night. After a 5 minute warm-up walk, we ran 1 minute, walked 1 minute, ran 3 minutes and walked to recovery, then repeated. I couldn't finish the last 3 minute loop, only running about 1 minute of it. Then we walked again to cool down. It took about 24 minutes in total. It was a good start though, and I hope we can kick up the minutes once we've put in the time.

S - I already crave a snack, and it's only 2pm!
D - potatoes and a smokie, if I have time to cook

O - I need to look at my dog to see how her teeth are doing. It's a bit of an ordeal.

I will refrain from saying much today, as i'm doped up on cold medication and probably nothing would make sense.

Berry Xtreme muffin
I took a muscle relaxant this morning for the cramping in my calf, and I think it's helping except that body parts keep snap, crackle, popping and I don't know if it's supposed to hurt or not. Does that make sense?
I went for a short walk last night, 20 minutes total. Supposed to run tonight.
