Good morning all, hope you all are well. All is well here in Tennessee a bit chilly had to turn on heat a couple of days ago. Staying on track pretty well, not my best feeling week. Made veggie stew last night, made so much I will be eating it until next winter  Will weigh in saturday morning, I don't expect 5.5lbs like last weigh in but I'm hoping to see something. Hope you all are safe and well, have a good day.

hello everyone, chilly day in tennessee. hoping all on east coast are safe from harm. doing pretty well today had brunch and will have grilled swai fish and salad for dinner. hit treadmill today for 30min, had to start off slow, hips are still hurting but i feel better now. have a good day all.

good day all, had my day yesterday, i ate too much, no fried, no take out just ate around house...booohooo.. legs was killing me yesterday so i  did not walk and was super busy today. I have ate well today or should i say not ate, I did make a huge salad for dinner, also ate boiled eggs for my protein. will try to hit gym in the am, planning on doing house work tomorrow. hoping you all have a good evening.

good evening all, off for a couple of days, very drugged out yesterday  but doc said all went well. glad that is over with. back on track today, had to get it together, went to gym walked for 40mins , haven't had much of an appetite today at all, i made asian chicken stir fry for dinner over rice. my daughter says it's delicious i will eat in a few. had to get my mind back together to continue this journey, i refuse to give this dream up, after all it means my life. hoping you all have a great evening.

fasting today .I am craving everything from taco bell to pasta and anything fried. staying strong only have allowed myself jello and a cup of coffee this morning -NO CREAMER. Not to mention I will be cooking my daughter dinner ...this is murder. Having to fast due to upper@ lower GI in the early am. i slept most of the day so I would not be tempted to eat, but as soon as i woke up a taco bell commercial was on... of course even if i was not fasting taco bell is on my do not list, i have no control in that place. hoping you all a great evening.

where did my days go..wow, i thought i only missed one day of posting. well stayed on track up until yesterday, fell off did not walk ate bad, no junk food or fast food, just not on track. I did get up this morning with a GET BACK ON TRACK attitude.  Just had 30 min walk and will hit it again this afternoon. Having medical procedure friday morning so will start eating light today and tomorrow. Hoping you all have a great day.

hi all, hope you all had a relaxing sunday, nothing big on this end, i did get in a 20 min treadmill walk this morning, my hips are killing me. ate pretty well today , winging it today, did not cook so it was a free for all. ate breakfast a snack for lunch and bag of popcorn. will be back at the salad bowl tomorrow. Thank you nunnermack for the split pea recipe I will try it.. Hoping you all have a good nite.

well!  I did see movement on the scale, thank God, 5.5lbs gone and that's a big yeah for me. i will stay on track with my eating and back on treadmill today, put a pork roast in the crock-pot this morning so I won't have to think about cooking for the next few days. I love my crock. If anyone has any good low cal recipes please share.  I hope you all have a good weekend.

That is GREAT!!!!! I made this in the crock last night and this serves 4 and has 264 calories per serving.

Split Pea Soup

2 c. chicken broth 1 c. dried split peas, rinsed and drained 1 to 1 1/2 lbs meaty smoked pork hocks or one 1 to 1 1/2 lb meaty ham bone 1/4 t. dried marjoram, crushed 1 bay leaf 1/2 c. chopped carrots (1 med) 1/2 c. chopped celery (1 stalk) 1/2 c. chopped onion (1 medium)

In a 3 1/2 or 4 quart crock pot combine all ingredients AND 2 cups of water. Cover and cook on low setting 10 to 12 hours or high setting 5 to 6 hours. Once done, discard bay leaf. Remove meat and coarsely chop. Cover and cook on high setting for 5 to 10 minutes more or till heated through.

well off to a bad start. had a breakfast as usual after my walk, I don't know what in the hell got into me, i then around mid morning decided to have french fries. the good thing was before i could finish i was sick to my stomach so i dumped the rest. I will now hit the treadmill again after my dr. appt this afternoon. this morning i moved up to 25mins. planning to do another 25 mins. man i have to learn to control my impulses....will only have fruit and carrot/celery this evening. i hope everyone is having a great day. my word of the day is   WILLPOWER 

P.S. the sad part about me having those fries- i was not even hungry-WOW

 evening: walked 22mins more on treadmill that gives me 47min today, that will help with the fries. had fruit and fresh tomato at dinner also 6peanut butter crackers.
