I wrote a big old long entry this morning and then accidentally deleted it when I went to add a snack......That's what i get for doing 2 things at onece.  Now the computer is getting overheated again and turning itself off...... tough start to this morning...in a caqpsule...cleaning and counting calories....getting off before this thing shuts me down......I'll be back when I can.

Progress as of today: 17.4 lbs lost so far, only 108 lbs to go!

 Big snow comming apparently....we are ready!  Going to be a housework/cleaning day....nesting for the winter...i LOVE IT!

Breakfast = coffee, cheese omelette with picante sauce, 1 ounce ham, toasted english muffin

Lunch = 1 baked chicken leg with nutritional yeast, garden salad, noodles with picante sauce

snack= a little candy and a bottle of  sparkling ice.

Evening = cereal and almond milk, nutrigrain cake and slim jim


Progress as of today: 17.4 lbs lost so far, only 108 lbs to go!

Beautiful but cool day here today......spent the morning paying bills and writing a letter and trying to update the windows 10 on this computer...it's not cooperating...UGH.....now it gave me a headache!  Still adjusting to the time change.l don't care how many ways I try to trick myself into this new time...the body knows better....so happy to be free of that goverment commitment.....I'm sure the other 28 are too. 

Breakfastt = coffee and breakfast sandwich ( 1 eng muffin 1t buter, 1 egg, 1 bacon, 1 cheese)

am snack = sparkling ice bottled drink, chocolate

Lunch = chili dog on a whole wheat bun, tomato, pickles and rice


Dinner = a tiny serving of gummies....not hungry this evening...so not going to push it....Eventually did get hungry and had a bowl of cereal with almond milka and a banana

Going into the second all liquid day and it started out bright and early with muscle cramps...lots of them....climbed out of bed and the calf cramp started....so decided to go shopping and get some gatorade....( and some jello,  and popsicles...just for the fun of it and some other diet type flavored water.....I think these 12 days of liquids only over the last 2 months are  a bit much...and while I was at the store for an extra bonus I had finger cramps and toe cramps....YUP...Needed that gatorade......so hoping the call tonight will be a happy one.  If it isn;'t a happy one that means continuing the liquids.

Got lucky again....tomorrows trial has been cancelled....and that was the last one...so I got to have dinner....YAY!!!!!!

Dinner was chicken with kale, carrots emamame and peppers....and chocolate

With the liquids, it'd be helpful if there was some protein / soup - or like a protein drink to make you less hungry...

either way, nice job on sticking to liquids. that's not easy.

if you have muscle cramps, i think salt??? look that up, so that it goes away lady....you can have liquids that will lessen the cramps...i know what that feels like - feels really, really bothersome!

either way, i comend you...good to have the gatorade. be careful, be safe!

First day of my liquid fast jury duty prep..................


La Croix water

orange juice

grapefruit juice

Hot chocolate

K cup apple drink

chicken broth


Water if needed for the rest of the day

Actually the liquid days aren' t that hard because I drink quite a bit.......main problem is that I spend the day in the bathroom...that is a lot of liquid.....and since i'm used to eating I'm afraid I might forget and eat...LOL

Last day of solid foods for a few days....because the last jury duty comes up this week....so I'm concentrating on eating a lot of healthy stuff today......I'm of course hoping that this one gets cancelled too....so far...these last 3 months have been something that I have dreaded and have been lucky enough to have most of the days cancelled....so I'm going to have a good healthy food days and then the next 2 days will be liquids....until that 5 o clock phone to the courts on tuesday.

Breakfast = coffee, 2 scrambled eggs with cheese, 1 1/2 slices bacon, toast with peanut butter 

Lunch= hamburger, mac and cheese and baked beans and chocolate

Raining here.....................just hanging around.  Beautiful moon last night...we must really be getting old...we really really like the moon.........LOL

Breakfast = egg,, 1 slice bacon, toast with peanut butter and coffee

Snack= lecroix water, 1 minibag crackers and pb, halloween candy ( it will be a good thing whan that's gone)

Lunch = chicken with kale, edamame, carrots  and red peppers and 2 mini muffins w/butter

Evening = apple juice, Pure Organic Bar, Veggie straws

So what is so good about the salt lamps? What's a reason to get one? i would have to make it one of the lamps i use all the time...i now use oils in a diffuser, always forgetting to clean it and then i don't use it for weeks, but when it's on, i love it...tonight i'll both clean and use it! the oils were expensive, i should use them! i got oils for relaxing and to decrease inflammation :)

i love those lecroix....haven't had them in a long time, buying other bottled brands. lately i just buy big liter and 2 liter bottles. :) and add my steiva.

your lunch is really healthy! nice job!!!!!!

i love the veggie straws too bc one serving is a ton of them!!!!!

lately i'm sick of the straws and eating corn chips instead, but the serving is less corn chips :(...but boy are they tasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i eat a TON of chips instead of other grains. it's how i like to do things!

The salt lamps aren't for lighting a room...you couldn't read by them...they put out a glow more like a bigger night light...they put ions into the air,.....and help with lung issues......I swear by mine now...I have 3 plugged in through out the house 24 hours a day. I didn't realize how much they helped my lungs intil mine was inplugged for a week....I got congested and my lymph glands swelled up......feeling much better now.

Feeling crummy today....no plans to do anything at all...will just go with whatever I feel like doing when the mood hits.

Breakfast = scrambled egg with cheese, 1 slice bacon, toast, coffee 

Lunch = peanut butter on crackers, pure organic bar and chocolate

Dinner = 1 serving pizza and chocolate

More info today about brother in laws cancer and it's dismal but they will start chemo next week...he is only 64...just got their 3rd grandchild in september and they were so excited ( the other 2 live in colorado)....they are of course very upset right now...so today was spent on the phone...........

Right now I am going to sing the praises of salt lamps.....about a year ago I heard they were good for health...and I ordered 3........and turned them on periodically.....BUT...about 4 or 5 months ago I plugged one in and left it on 24 hours a day......and my wheezing and chest congestion went away completely....and I have been so healtthy ( no bad colds or pneumonia)...then last weekend when we went out of town I unplugged it......and I just realized today that the way I feel right now was the way I was before the salt lamp...so I pluggeed it back in and also plugged the other 2 in....they will be on around the clock forever now....I can see that they were working wonders with my lungs............never expected that!

Cleaning and sorting bedroom drawers and den paperwork today....Denny will be rebuilding and repairing dog kennels...so the day will fly by I'm sure....need to dig out some earrings today...haven't worn them in years...and I'm wondering if my piercings  have closed.

Breakfast = cheese omelet with salsa, whole grain toast, 1 strip bacon, coffee 

A.M. snack = 1 mini bag chips and 4 pieces halloween candy

Glands on the left side of my body are swelling up quickly.....must have picked up a germ when we were out of town Saturday....or shopping this week....downing vitamin c and lookin for the zinc....really do not want to get sick right now.

Lunch = 1 small avocado, fresh tomato, radishes and 2 small beef and bean burritos with marinara

Felt too crummy to clean out drawers....did do a lot of laundry and ran the roomba...other than that I sat around and felt crummy and read.

evening = dried apple chips, dried coconut chips and a mini bag of veggie strraws...and maybe a hot beverage from the Keurig later

 The day is flying by.......odd little things around here are keeping me busy...

Breakfast = homemade breakfast sandwich and coffee

Snack.....got a little crazy and snacked too much so I will put off eating lunch until later to help make up for it........snack was 2 mini packs cookies, 1 pure organic bar and a glutino strawberry thing

Late lunch = 1 meat ball, fresh tomatoes, some whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce and some chicken stuffing ....trying to clean out the fridge.....didn't want to add anymore leftovers to it....LOL

Neighbor here cutting wood to heat his house this winter......brought things in from the deck before they freeze.......still some flower pots to get....looks like I let this go too late this year.

evening snack = walnuts and ice cream...seriously need to work on eating better tomorrow

I can't remember the name of the glutino thing because I threw the box away because it ripped....but it is kind of like a smaller pop tart type of thing without the glutin...it's good...and seems less sweet...but when these are gone I probably won't buy it again.
