Meal #2 = celery, cucmber , noodles and sauce = 281 calories
Heading out to pick up groceries for the next few days.
Got the shopping done and gas in the car so I'm good for awhile
Meal #3 - pitas and hummus and 1 serving of apple pie, sparkling water = 650
total calories for the day = 1,341
Done eating for the day, just water for evening and vitamins
Progress as of today: 1.7 lbs lost so far, only 120 lbs to go!

I have spent many years on many different diets that I could not stick to long enough to keep the weight off for any length of time.
Today I have decided that it is time for me to actually listen to myself and just eat whatever I want because I will anyway.
I have found it quite easy in the past to take weight off on someone elses diet with foods I don't want to eat. I have found it easy to count calories or points or fast. All diets work I have discovered, yet I have never been on a diet that I wanted to live the rest of my life on and that is my issue. I can follow any diet and lose but I never wanted it to be a lifelong thing and always went back to eating what I WANT and the weight came back. I have decided that I have to eat what I want but just add daily limits to it. I find it easy to stop when I reach my daily calories or points etc. The only problem I really have is the actual foods. There are foods I will never give up. I am making up my own diet using the foods I love. I am keeping my daily calories between 1,200 and 1,500.
I know all about many diets, I've been on them and I really dislike all of them because of their rules....LOL
This time it is all about MY RULES! I'm also not requiring myself to sit down to a regular meal, instead I am eating what I want when I am hungry, regardless of the time of day or rather or not the family is eating a meal. I will still prepare family meals for others but it will not be necessary for me to eat then too.
Took a full array of vitamins this morning to cover anything that my foods miss
Meal #1 was chicken with cheese and pepperoni topping and coffee = 149 calories
Meal # 2 Low Fat Black Cherry Yogurt = 140 calories
Calories used so far = 289
Meal # 3 Imagine Parmsan cheese stars =350
calories used so far = 639
Meal #4 beef, peppers, olive oil, celery, baked fries = 362
calories used so far = 1001
Dessert = 1/2 serving of mini apple pie = 205
calories for the day = 1,206
