Good Morning! I woke up before 6, was expecting to sleep in but my mind wouldn't turn itself off :) I am thinking about how I plan to go to the gym & dermatologist bc my acne is still bad on my chin....and that I have to prepare & plan to go to NYC (look at train schedules & directions to the concert & restaurant) this afternoon.  Being that it is not even 7am, I'm good!  I am planning a very early gym session starting in under an hour from now. I'll come back here & shower before the dermatologist.  Once there, I will also pick up a baby outfit gift for a coworker...use my free coupon for Victoria's Secret too!  And I may make a shirt return, probably not.  That's the plan.  then just come back here & relax / plan for the concert.   I was thinking to get a haircut but that's one too many activities for today!

I didn't even as the PT out again last night...he is sweet and extremely cute, not married, 42.  We text sometimes, yes, I am the initiator, but he doesn't mind it & seems to like it.  We chat about the weirdest things when I go...and like I said, he's a nice, sometimes geeky, but fun guy.  He makes jokes and knows how to make me laugh.  And he is very cute, body & face.  He knows I have off....but I decided I am not going to ask him out this week...probably not anyways.  I don't need to let him know I am stooping that low - so low that I plan to "hook up" with him on my vacation... I wish I knew more about relationships.

Breakfast: fruit 100 at most, peanut butter 100, oatmeal 160 with added egg whites 50, stevia, and a plain Fage Greek yogurt 100 = 510 nice!

 

Snack and shake .... 850 cal so far

snack: chia pod cup and some Kevita bought at a natural food store while doing errands...150

late meal before concert: collard greens (also bought before concert) 100 at most, tofu 100, and little bit of rice 150 at most. 350.

dinner: 2 light beers 200; grilled chicken salad around 250? with some dressing; and cooked veggies 100 at most?: 550, great! (my meal at the bar / restaurant)

snack on way home: Quest Bar 200 and more water!

total: 2100 = GREAT job.

trouble getting home from concert at MSG as our subway line(s) were cancelled so we had to go a little different way home and subways were delayed big time. then, my friend was so upset that she wanted to chill at my apt before driving home to her place. I went to bed at 3am! but it was a great night!

Happy Monday Morning Off From Work :)

Today I already caught up with my laundry and now will catch up with a couple bills.  I enjoyed the weekend to the fullest, getting together with friends both days and catching rays at the beach yesterday. I didn't have to worry or stress about work in the morning which really was nice last night. also, now I am planning for tomorrow's concert at Madison Square Garden and also I will be ready for the white water rafting. it's so good to have a few extra days off from work right now!

8am Breakfast: 2 small apricots 40 and a sip of coconut water 10, banana bread oatmeal 160, egg whites 50, plain greek yogurt 100. 360 or so.

Snack: protein bar 250 (healthy fats, vegan protein bar), later hot lemon water with stevia 30, and a drink 20: 300, oh and dried green beans 100 400 total

lunch: tomatoes 60, lots of lox 200? on a wrap 100 360, nice.

1120 :)...need to buy some more cooked veggies, I've run out of my tasty prepared foods (not ready to cook right now lol)

2pm snack: healthy bean chips 80 or so.

1200, perfect.

1500 before dinner.

at most, 2000 cal today. success.

exercise was abs / back at the gym & full leg pt session :)

I have been watching calories closer and dieting in a way to lose weight since approximately Monday May 12: I don't weigh in & didn't lose crazy weight. But, it has been nine weeks already.  I have lost around 2.3 pounds (going by calories burned, not the scale).  I do notice things fitting better, but I'm definitely not a size smaller since my clothes were already tight before lol. All weeks have been successful, except for two.  so, 7/9 weeks were weightloss. This is good. Proud of myself for keeping tracking & looking back.  Now I can proceed with more enthusiasm, knowing that  I WILL get where I want to be!

Good Morning! Happy Sunday! Still debating the gym this AM.  I know I will be going to the beach later, too. We'll see...I'll be leaving soon for the gym if I do decide to go.

Tasty Breakfast: big plum 50, oatmeal 160 with egg whites 60 and a greek 2% banana on bottom yogurt 120, stevia, peanut butter 100: 500 - good! 

snack: iced coffee 100 at most.

snack: protein shake, 300 at most.

healthy lunch at beach, mostly veggies: 500 at most.

light but huge dinner: tons of sautéed veggies on 1 full bag of butter lettuce, around 300, great. will snack later.

evening snack: strawberries, plain greek yogurt with cinnamon, stevia, nut better, and a light and fit chocolate raspberry yogurt with added stevia. 300

2000 cal, perfect!! midnight, actually it really was midnight!, snack: 250.

total today: 2250, decent for sure! and I did a lil walking at beach as well as upper body workout at the gym!

Thursday was good eating. I believe around 1850 cal.

exercise was hardcore weights, but a little less abs / back.

I probably burned 2200 yesterday with also a walk at lunch :)

total cal burned this week (Monday and Thursday) is probably around 700.

Friday calories till end of workday was 1200 at most.

calories after work: iced coffee and small yogurt, 200.

dinner: at most, 500.

total: 1900, good.

no real exercise, but that is ok.

taking a break, tomorrow will be leg exercises at PT in the morning, then my friend's baby's 1st bday at the park! should be a nice change of pace in the sunny weather :)

I have a week off from work now, to be used with good eating, no unhealthy big binges, and a LOT of relaxation.  I do have a trip with my friend and meeting up with family to go white water rafting, but it's really a fast trip. Two nights, one day.  Just taking it day by day!

Today ended up being 2300, still decent.

calories still a little high but with my period and all, I've been feeling extremely sluggish and almost craving sugar like I really DO need it - lightheadedness and all. so that's what I've been doing. today I had a small wrap at lunch, went outside and got Italian ices. i'll probably do the same tomorrow!

calories around 1900, good.

exercise: 30-40 min walking at lunch, not skipping anymore.  leg pt (also 5 min bike and 5 min elliptical)...laying off abs exercises probably till the weekend.

Felt horrible all day. Got my period early which I am overjoyed about since I won't have it on my vacation and trip!!!!!!! Yay!

Calories are higher and that's fine!

Around 2200.

Almost skipped the gym but instead had a great workout. :)

No cardio today.

300-350 evening.

1750 perfect.

Exercise was 20 minute walk at lunch, 5 min bike and 5 min elliptical and leg pt exercises. Taking a break from abs maybe tomorrow after work.

exercise was a full upper body (no abs) and back.

also, WALKING at beach (on the hard sand by the water) for around 45 minutes I think (forgot to time it), no pain in right leg at all. Left leg still minor pain that is a heck of a pain to get rid of, but so much better.

things are looking good for me lately with the legs. so happy about this!

(successful weekend, calorie-wise!) nice.  now, I am going to do well this last week, before my vacation!  I have a week off from work starting on the 14th! and I come back Tuesday, the 22nd!  I will be staying home.  I have a big concert planned (Bruno Mars in NYC at Madison Sq Garden) and the beach, of course. Also, I have a friend's baby's 1st bday to attend & will visit at least a couple different beaches during the week. I'll be continuing physical therapy & plan to incorporate strong workouts at the gym. Last time I had a week off was January, 6 months ago.  Really looking forward to it!
