weight was BAD this morning. like 134. i think a lot was bloating/water weight! i hope!!! bc in two weeks, or rather like 12 days?, i was planning on being 129. If not, i'll have to CANCEL the massage. I gotta keep my promises, you know!?

That is dissapointing, especially as you have been working hard at your exercise. I have my fingers crossed that you drop some of that weight so that you can have your massage. Hang in there HOP, don't give up!!

1300 calories before dinner:

dinner: salad/beans 150, 7 rice cakes - splurge 300, chicken and potatoes small amount 300?, cottage cheese 150...900?

2200 calories or so, i thinik?

trying to lose weight but kinda stuck. big appetite as of late!

exercise: hour of fast walking in AM, 1hr and 15min weights in PM  :-)

saturday morning. spending it kinda lazy. online surfing the web. i want to go out and exercise, but i'm not moitvated to. later, i believe i'll be walking around the mall with a friend of mine - that can count as exercise as long as we walk for awhile. i'm not motivated today as much to get outside....i have an hour to be ready to visit my grandma....maybe just a quick walk on the treamill for 20 minutes this morning, yeah.

132...my goal is that 2 weeks from now i'll dip under 130 :-)

how it's gonna feel: bliss to be under 130 lbs. i cannot wait. it's been 2.5 years and i'm SO READY!

i have a lot going on right now. monday and tuesday i'm taking off from work for training for an Xray job i may get for saturdays. my life is contstantly changing day to day but i luckily have the energy to keep up right now, thank god.

Ahhh life is constantly changing, that can be a good thing. At least you don't get bored nor sick of it all. Changing makes a significant part of our lives and I think it's very important for someone to be able to change at some rate. I believe it's something we need to learn to deal with, and sooner the better! :)

exercise today: 30 min cardio, 1.5 hours of weights, back, abs, pushups.

busy day. rough day overall. but i'm happy it's over and i'm about to read a little and then get to bed. almost 1am already!

if i wan't to be 129 in a couple weekends from now, i might not be able to eat 2250 like i did today...and the rest of this week....or maybe i can?!

You know what? You work on upping that metabolism of yours by doing all that cardio and all those weights, and I wouldn't worry too much about eating 2000 calories each day. Just make sure those calories are healthy! I still can't believe you can lift for 1.5 hours and not get totally bored...

i stepped on the scale, no weight change since i was eating maintanance level calories, and high calories, lately. it's ok, no gain either.

but i weighed around 133 this morning.  i am not upset at all, considering it is actually a decently low weight compared to the past two years. i am very happy and will work hard to reach 129 by March 12. I'm proud of myself and i am accomplishing my goal.

so very tired, procrastinated a little, must finish some work at home for tomorrow...

overall, it's been a good (short) week...

today's calories are approx. 1900-1950.

yesterday's 2450 + today's 1950 = average 2 day total of 2200. fine and dandy!

but must not eat such large breakfasts! well, i'll try, anyways. and MUST GET MORE SLEEP, still!

Your body must be a machine to burn through those calories and be in the 130s. That's so awesome. I'd like to work up to that one day. But, for me first, the big hurdle is just making it to 145.

need a better calculation: dinner was around 700...after finally thinking about it. calories before dinner: 1750

total: 2450...ok, well, that is 2400-2500, haha....ok.

calories today are around 2400-2500. big dinner did me in.  but i stopped.

who knows, i'm not angry or anything at all. hopefully the weightloss will continue. :-)

exercise: 3 miles outside walking.

was exhausted today, lack of sleep. so i'm going to bed early!

Sometimes those extra calories can be better than you think...but it's great that you realized how much you took in and stopped. The weight loss WILL continue! Moogy's right the walking will burn all those cals right off. Have a great day!

today i ate around 2050 calories...

way too much coffee, but decaf!  :-)

exercise: 1.5 hours weights, 35 min cardio

I have a massage appt set up for March 12th i think...plenty of time, i may be under 129 by then - i hope!

hello, good morning!

I did splurge a little bit on Saturday when visiting my grandma because i was overtired and hungry. I ate a bit much and I slightly regret it, but i'm also really glad i didn't overeat the rest of the day and simly ended it with a pretty healthy dinner containing ALL food groups.

I would like to weigh 129 not this weekend to come, but the next. In fact, i'm making a potential appointment for a massage that i can cancel if i'm not 129 when the appointment approaches. :-)

today i will finally get my hair washed, cut, and blown. I'm nervous that the brazilian straightening process that is supposed to last for 6 months is not gonna come out so well. oh well. it was a VERY shady business that i had to deal with this time around. I will probably not be going back to this place and go back to my usual salon next time.  i tried a new place because i had a 50% discount.

I'm sure you can meet your goal and get that wonderful massage. I hope your hair works out - my friend just had hers done with some sort of keratin treatment but I don't think it lasts as long as yours will. Have a good one!

hey lady! i am still following the nutritionists guidelines - and incorporating more carbs and calories into my diet. i think it is working and at least my energy seems to be a lot more smooth and im generally happier. i think what threw me over the edge was drinking and eating sugar on vacation. i had a nasty week of cravings after doing that, but thankfully the whole grains, proteins and fats have saved me. i am sure ill lose the couple pounds i gained in mexico in no time. hope you are doing well!! xo

My grandma is a food-pusher. When you walk through the door, no matter if you're built like a brick you-know-what house, she'll say "oh my, you're looking a little gaunt" and continue with "here, I made some cinammin buns, try one" or "but there's only two cookies left on the table - someone has to eat them!".

Anyways. That was probably more grandma than you needed.

My hair is driving me nuts. I still haven't washed it - I'm saving it for the salon when I go back Monday morning to have it washed/cut/blown for free like they said i am entitled to. I'll let them deal with washing my greasy hair!  I could have washed it last night, but i figured i'd wait an extra day and let the salon deal with my hair. after all, they made it that way! hahaha....

I cannot weight for my massage!!!!!!! It's so hard to wait, but I know i have to.  I think that in a couple weekends from now, so not that following but the one after, I'll be getting that massage. I have a few saved up, because I am charged once a month on my card even if i don't use them, so i might use two that i've been previously charged for at once. TWO HOUR massage that means.....that would be a nice gift. because, honestly, getting back to 129 is an accomplishment...i haven't been there in 2.5 years!

Midway to my 1st goal and full body massage when i reach it!  Just three more pounds to lose, hopefully by two weeks or less...I do now weigh 132...however, i didn't lose the whole pound, I don't think, this week. Just a little less than a pound. I am VERY happy with the weightloss, especially bc i am eating usually 1800-2300 calories per day and still losing!!!! that's right!   So, I'm going to still TRY to be happy with the weightloss and try NOT to speed things along.  So far, it's working with no backfiring binges which is very, very good.

I was overtired today when I went to visit my grandma and I did splurge. If I had to guess, today I ate maybe 2700-2800 calories. not too bad and i'm not upset, but i do want continued weightloss so I do plan on being activiely engaged in further choices when visiting her and I will try to make a more concentrated effort to get more sleep, since sleep is what derailed me today and caused more decision making.

i hope you are all well. I have been very much on the run lately.

i don't wanna think too far in advance, like how much weight i'd like to be in the longrun. I am just very excited to see 129 in the near future on the scale.  The last time I weighed in the 120's was in the summer and part of the fall of '08.  That's about 2.5 years ago and I am eager to return!  I may even start a new diary on here with a new name when I reach the 120s...maybe under a name called HOP :-)

I am glad that you are going slowly and trying to figure out what is best for you. Thank you for your comments, I read your concern inbetween the lines. I am doing Atkins low carb, so it is quite extreme only 30g a day, but I will only be doing it for 2 weeks so no need to worry. I will go back on my 'normal' diet after that. I have been sitting on a plateau (sounds like it has a good view doesn't it?) for three weeks and need to 'jump start' my body. This low carb always works for me so I am hoping that it shifts a few pounds this time as well. I hope that you have a good week. Be kind to yourself.:)

You are doing great, and I think a slow and steady loss, with keeping your calories in that 2000 range could really work for you. I've been fluctuating between 128-130 for weeks now, but can't break below 128. While it's nice to be in the 120s, I'm also a little frustrated which is why I'm going to try going low carb for a week or so. That always seems to help me break through my plateaus, although I won't do it for long at all. I've gotten used to eating lots of whole grains and I'd much rather count calories than carbs, it's way more sustainable for me. Oh and yeah, I don't like to deprive myself of any specific types of foods, I like food too much to do that to myself ;P Have a good one!
