9am-10am Breakfast: whole lb of strawberries 150 yes really, oatmeal 150 made with unsweetened almond milk 30 with some stevia and cinnamon, on of my avocado brownies in there (i still have so many left!) 150. 500 approx. and some kombucha i guess. 50...

Noon brunch low carb crackers 250 with eggplant spread 150, bite of turkey burger 50, and almonds 100.. 550

 1:30 snack: rest of that turkey burger 100 and Leftover collagen coffee with extra added almond milk 200

So ended up getting oil change with free car wash too since the oil change was overdue and I had the time today.

5:30 dinner: egg and 2 more egg whites around 100, lots of eggplant spread 250-300 and cabbage cooked some butter 100. 500

1900....resting again after dinner and really not so sure about either exercise or laundry ! Maybe both tomorrow haha 

After dinner snacking plum and later whipped cream and bite of MYbe avocado brownies 200

2100 total - very good.

Also I walked around 20-30min today 

Laundry is done and skipped washing my bedding to make it go by easier.

Workout will be tomorrow after I get back !

I didn't feel rested enough to do a workout today and I might do my workout tomorrow at the gym depending what time I get back from the city !









Exercise may not happen but I will at least do laundry later :) having a restful day.


gonna go out and do some food shopping so i can make some nice slow cooker veggies again....will do an asian flavored recipe this time, using bok choy and maybe chinese cabbage... :) something different. mushrooms too. i'll go to a supermarket that has many asian veggies to choose from! 


Slept around 12 hours just waking up to use the bathroom. maybe even 13 hours. I'm fine with it - having a slow day! I went to bed exceedingly early bc after walking the 3 mi home i was seriously very tired (along with less sleep during the week!) so went to bed even before 8pm i think....i seriously think the extra sleep thing i've been doing on weekends is ok because i haven't gotten sick and it's helping me feel good.

LOL, i wasn't going to do any workouts today, but, i may change my mind, relax a lot today...and do the workout tonight (so i don't leave it hanging for tomorrow after a busy day in the city for a friend's bday (she luckily cancelled it being out east 2 hours....! thankfully! and she's THANKFULLY having it in the city instead!)

it's always better to do a workout in the evening and be able to sleep and recover afterwards :) so, considering that, an evening workout (with caffeine perhaps) will happen tonight.

I just read that strawberries are really good for the thyroid......but they are the worst for absorbing farming chemicals....ugh.....But I still love them......I usually don't let that kind of thing keep me from eating things. If you can sleep more on weekends than you need the sleep.....I think it's a good idea.

I see nothing wrong with eating a pound of strawberries. Helps your immune system!

Yes I usually buy the strawberries on sale and they were the one so that needed to Ben eaten soon anyways :) I enjoyed them very much ! And sleep seems to be doing me good.... I know it's a lot but it's better than getting sick ?

Lunch:  gonna be my tasty slow cooked cabbage and carrots (some butter)  150, with israeli eggplant dish spread on it 200?, and a pulled pork 200 so good from coworker she made it and popcorn small amount 100. 650, plum 50

coffee on way home 50

dinner: avocado brownie 150, full fat greek yogurt 200, blueberries 150, and bite of crappy ice cream it had freezer burn 50. 550

2050-2100, good!

3 mi walk home, i struggled with it....had a slightly heavy backpack.

not as satisfying as egg & avocado on a wrap.

it's fun for now, dessert for breakfast, but lacks the protein / health as much as a whole 1/4 avocado with a whole egg...on a lighter wrap.

so it's fun, but i'm hungry earlier than if i ate a more nutritious breakfast.

i am still bored of the egg for breakfast tho...so i'll continue with the desserts approach for at least a couple weeks more.

also my skin has declined in it's overall sheen, but, i attribute that more to energy drink consumption.

i like the drinks for exercise, but, the taste and effects wear off...and acne replaces those things and lasts for days after lol...

Good Morning All :)

Kombucha (not enough / not enough time) 50, later coffee 50

Breakfast: avocado brownie smaller size 150 and whipped cream 120. 280-300.

Snack: bar 200, pumpkin cream cheese fat bomb bite :) 50

Lunch: my lovely good tasting cabbage, carrots and onions 200 with a turkey burger...bite of pita 50, and oily tasty veggies 250...but gotta watch my calories now. maybe do a low carb lunch. 500

Snack: turkey burger of mine in the fridge 150

Before Exercise: caffeine (Monster drink - i'm back in that habit for now) and small piece banana bread - treats that aren't low carb are usually brought in at lunch by a coworker who bought it out in nyc during lunch and they are ALWAYS good / high quality bakery goods! 200, maybe a plum also 50

After exercise: thinking to warm up one of those taste Cauliflower pizza crusts. 400 cals (they are so bad with reporting the true calories in their food!) honestly, i still don't believe their calorie count. (since they first introduced it, the calorie count on the package has gone up significantly and i'm sure it's still wrong!)

2050, excellent. - much better....by snacking less at work and sticking to slightly smaller and healthier meals :)

6 day avg: around 2200




lately things are busy. my halloween was nice and restful ...went to bed early but my calories lately are too high and pants are getting tighter. so, slowly i'll be watching again :) i think that 2300 types of calorie days are not conducive overall to my weight maintenance as much as i'd like that amount to be ! lol...

it was cute to see kids trick or treating :)

I plan to lower cals for some of November (not around Thanksgiving) and also a lot of December (i don't even celebrate Christmas). with many days off coming around this time, it'll be easier for me once i am sleeping more on long weekends and holidays - Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years...then,i have  a trip for 2 weeks scheduled to stay with a good friend in Florida. So, i hope to feel good and not have gained weight by Early January :) and i know this plan will work out well!

You burn a lot of calories with exercise and just general moving around...but I believe that 2,300 cals were maintenance for back in the day when I weighed 250....

some man wants to have lunch with me, but he's 50 with a 20yr old daughter and he works in the city near me which is why but i do not want to meet up for lunch at all...because i do not want to get to know him at all....but he offered me his business card, AGAIN...as i've known him since summer now...grrrr....this happened after the meeting that he attended to...

Around 6 hours sleep, but, slept really well all weekend so it won't be a very difficult day for me today to get thru.... :) Happy about my choices and that i got my weights routine in last night at home! I def do not need to rejoin this expensive gym, i do not think? but there's no other good gym around...so...and i like biking to it...so....not sure.!  

I still like going out to the gym for motivation on weekends that are more relaxed when i don't have many other plans. So, i think i'll just continue paying for it.

yeah...you are right.

it was so nice to try to bike to the gym and get it in that way...cardio and weights in one day...i shall give the gym some extra thought.

it's good to go there to get outta the house and to use their extra equipment i don't have...i wish there were other gym options by me that were cheaper...no cheap gyms by me.

Slept for hours, feeling good now! Woke up a couple times during night bc i really wasn't so tired & went to bed early, but it feels good to have rested so much :)

finished workout around 10pm, glad i'm doing it at home :)

1/2 small banana during workout 50 and a cream cheese dessert i made 50, then brownie bigger piece 250 and whipped cream around 50. total here: 400.

I have an event to go out to sorta far, at least an hour's drive, maybe more.  I have to do it alone, so trying not to be rushing around all morning. 

Luckily i found one last seltzer can hidden in my fridge, so that will keep me satisfied till i pick up more later today.

I am planning to stay home until around 11:30 when i need to leave to drive to the friend's 40th bday party :)


At home, i have some important tasks to do this morning:

- take care of all my health copay reimbursements since like the summer or even last Spring! :) (good deal with the union...regarding being able to pay yourself back with your own money that is set aside only for this purpose of paying for copays....)...

- laundry

- write a bday card and find the gifts i am giving them, remember to bring also a bag of opened bacon crumbles that i do not want anymore and just bought last week - they said they'd take it lol

- set the slow cooker and put in my cabbage to cook while i'm out :) and it'll last for this week!

they do have a definite hint of avocado in the flavor, but the consistency is sooo good that it's ok like that....very tasty for a breakfast....but not so much as a real party dessert. good as a healthier brownie breakfast, not good as a party dessert :) i think!

Like sliced fresh avocado on many things (sandwiches, eggs benedict, salad). But rarely like tasting it when it's been mixed into something else. Worst thing I've ever tasted was a few years ago when I was blending a giant "healthy" green smoothie. Decided to throw an avocado in the blender. Took a sip and almost couldn't get it down. Took another sip and poured the rest down the drain.......

i was gonna go to gym tonight but have decided to do it tomorrow, when i get home from the party, maybe have coffee on way home :)...most probably...


The walk i was supposed to go on as a fundrasier for Muscular Dystrophy was cancelled due to the storm, thankfully. At least they have my money so that's good!

I'm so glad to be home, because much of the day tomorrow i'll be driving (by myself since the other friend who was gonna join me has bronchitis unfortunately) out of town over an hour each way to a bday party out on Long Island. 

Since I'm home today, I do plan on baking some old and new treats. One coworker literallly requested i make my coconut brownies again! So, that's on the list. they may come out fluffier because i now have the correct cooking appliance, an electric mixer, that i didn't have previously so the egg whites will be much more airy and fluffy!

I'm also making another "fat bomb" which will include pumpkin and cream cheese, amongst other ingredients, to make a "pumpkin fat bomb!" also, if it's good i'll bring it in for coworkers.

lastly, i have enough veggies and cabbage to make another whole batch of slow cooked cabbage again. so, i'm making it for the week, but using a slightly different recipe with NO canned onions since i didn't like them at all in this past weeks recipe. i do have one fresh onion in the fridge, so i'll cut that up! the carrots cooked beautifully in my first batch, i followed directions that since they are so hard to place them at the bottom of the pot so they get the highest heat on them...worked perfectly. it's a healthy recipe and way to get veggies in, so i may put the slow cooker on before i leave for the party tomorrow and come home to a pleasant smelling (sorta? it's cabbage though!) apartment tomorrow eve!

I sometimes feel anxious driving long distances alone, so i was REALLY looking forward ot this friend being in my car with me for the drive, but, it's also a chance for me to work on this issue i have with driving long distances! On the way home tomorrow early evening from this party i'm going to tomorrow, i'll stop on LI at a large supermarket that we don't have many of locally by me to pick up flavored seltzers and other things i can use around the house. 

I just got my garage back after the 7 weeks they spent working on the lot, so now parking is back to being easy :) so driving is good at least, and no worries to freak out about finding a spot :) 

I will once again be able to drive more, and during the week if i need to now! Like, after work if i need something, going to the store will be much more convenient with my car to bring things home!

I refused to drive the expressway north...until D called me one day ( I was 4 hours away) to say that he had just almost cut the end of his finger off and he was heading for the hospital half an hour away...….I got on the expressway without even thinking about it and got here faster than if I had taken the backroads way ( which was my usual route)...from that point on taking the 3 hour I-75 route was a lot easier.

but, yes, i am starting to logically put mind over matter in terms of the driving.

also, i do not like the straight roads, so boring and just to drive straight the whole time...at least i am relaxing today which will make tomorrow way easier i would think!

My friend type relationship with R has plunged for the worst. Without going into detail bc it's just so stupid a situation, he threw a very light package at my feet because i didn't leave his apt lobby fast enough bc he wanted to speak with someone and i didn't oblige his command to get outta there...public humiliation and embarrassment aren't acceptable. this is one of the reasons i cannot date him. He's extremely unpredictable and i think he's bipolar. either way, i'm done with him for the time being....as it upset me so much that he'd ever embarass me, in public, in front of other people. not acceptable behavior. and i'm embarassed.

Yes, maybe a break would be a good idea. Maybe he thought he was being funny...? I say, keep the negative forces at bay, even if it means some distance. It might not be a permanent thing, or maybe it will. All you can do is live in the moment, and you did the right thing.

no, he actually was fuming angry out of nowhere. maybe bc he knew i didn't want to stay and hang out and i was just dropping something off? i'm not sure. but he let something bother him, something minor that i didn't "leave as fast as he wanted from the lobby so he could talk to his neighbor without me there"...and he just boiled up about it. R is extremely easily agitated and unpredictable. that's the issue. :(

Tonight i have a planned weights routine, i will ride the bus all the way home, conserve all energy for weights...and be in bed when i can...because i have a full weekend with going to a bday party...and full week until around 2 weeks from now. 

My friend type relationship with R has plunged for the worst. Without going into detail bc it's just so stupid a situation, he threw a very light package at my feet because i didn't leave his apt lobby fast enough bc he wanted to speak with someone and i didn't oblige his command to get outta there...public humiliation and embarrassment aren't acceptable. this is one of the reasons i cannot date him. He's extremely unpredictable and i think he's bipolar. either way, i'm done with him for the time being....as it upset me so much that he'd ever embarass me, in public, in front of other people. not acceptable behavior. and i'm embarassed.

Progress as of today: 0 lbs lost so far, only 2 lbs to go!

Do you like the weights at home more than at the gym...or do you miss the atmosphere at the gym?

- I miss the gym atmosphere, but use facebook to continue to post for some extrinsic motivation.

- i enjoy more music options now at home, without headphones...better for my ears and hearing. i have now subscribed to Itunes music for more listening options than just my Amazon music that was free but was getting old very fast as i've been listening to it for YEARS...Itunes apple music has newer and a larger variety :)

- I get distracted at home & if i do not concentrate, i forget what i'm up to (what # set, etc) and also snack more and have to watch that...at the gym, there's no option to walk to the fridge

- i like not having to drive after a workout or waste time in commuting to and from the gym :)

- i like being able to have a wide range of food to choose from when my workout is done, and perhaps saving money not stopping at 7-Eleven or convenience stores on way home

- i love not going out in the dark / out in the cold during the week

- i love opening the window and turning off my air for a nice cool space while working out at home - just as comfortable as the gym

- home is more convenient and even this week i'll have to do a home workout because my trips to the gym lately are on bike and require a lot of free time

- i reserve gym for weekends - especially when i have ample time to spend biking there :)

- gym is more motivating.

- my goals to not lose strength over the winter will keep me motivated 100% to do home workouts.

thank you for asking...this is SO important to me, to improve on...to not have a standstill...to get better...

in the mornings, when i take the E train (not everyday, sometimes F train), there's 4 long staircases up from the E to the street level...i ALWAYS, even when legs are tired, take the steps and lately i RUN up them, getting VERY winded, but i do it!...i try so hard to challenge myself...to improve and be better than i was the day before.

to me, at 36 yrs old, i feel i STILL have the opportunity to improve physically...to make my body capable for a court officer postion (AND that position comes with room to grow & gain even better compensation after years / more education on that job!)...

i KNOW i wasn't meant to sit at a desk...but to work in a more "vibrant" environment...and it's my goal to get this opportunity for myself.

it's just sometimes a task that REQUIRES THOUGHT NOW...and REQUIRES MAKING CHANGES NOW...to make sure i am productively working on ways to MAKE IT HAPPEN...like exercising at home...

to become a court officer, it involves actively making changes on my LIFESTYLE NOW...in ways so my body adapts and changes ...so i can pass that court officer test & get thru the 3-4 month (short) academy...then, i'm good !!! this is my goal.

it's wayyyy more doable than the nypd cop thing was...it rests on my promise to myself...my ability to steer clear of distractions like friends wanting to hang out but when i have to skip a workout and myself making the choice of what i can do and what i should place as priority....give and take...

Good planning on your activities! I'm still struggling to get in 7 hours of sleep -- I don't have this planned out very well!

I simply get very tired at night ... and lately it's so easy for me to get to bed.

work doesn't leave me worrying about tasks to finish, etc....i can go to bed with a very relaxed mind as of late.

Motivation at home is an issue...it is too easy to put it off...but then again...you aren't wiping some one elses sweat off things either...and for me...that is a huge difference. I like the time savings of at home equipment....in the past that made it worthwhile for us.…..

i wrote more back to you above...the home workouts are a necessity since my commute is so long now and my use of public transportation...which drains energy and time...so it's great to be home and stay home.

Definitely caffeine....makes getting moving easier....and once you are on the move...it keeps going from there.
