Breakfast: cereal Grain Berry 150, almond milk 30, blueberries 120. 300.

Supposed to have lunch with Christine, but just ate now right before 11:30 - wrap 100, turkey breast spicy meat 50, 1/4 lg avocado 100 and veggies 50. 300., bai raspberry tea

2nd lunch: ? not in mood...veggies i guess...maybe ask her to change plans since she might get here late, otherwise i'll get a veggie tofu soup and a diet coke with lemon.700

2 wraps 150,  turkey 100, avocado 150...400, coffee 50.  450 

Small coffee with cream and small protein bar 200 

late when i got home: sf jello and whipped cream. 150.

2200. decent. i could have done better but had like 2 healthy lunches, but it was 2 lunches. still not a bad day.

getting set to enjoy the weekend!

I went & put money on my laundry card later & pick up my dress that i got fixed at cleaners for wedding in a couple weeks today.

Went to the supermarket to get food for the week ahead!

Happy to have taken today off.

Seeing a movie & getting lunch with my friend C later.

And in the early evening after 4pm, out to go fishing and see a free concert with R. HAPPY TO NOT BE AT WORK, at my desk, or taking public transportation now!

R was just laid off...they are laying people off. I hope he gets a positition at another company in a week or so...he went to union to fill out the appropriate paperwork. he didn't do anything wrong, the company is just elminiating some workers bc there's less work.

*Jealous* but my day off will be Monday... Of course, taking Husband to the doctor isn't exactly the way I'd like to spend a day off, but it's away from work, so it still counts.

yeah, i'm thankful to have taken today off. it worked out quite well and also well for planning things last minute with friends :) i also got some outstanding errands done so i'm happy not to be thinking of them anymore!

it worked out really well with today off :) i was productively busy in the morning and was able to sleep in a couple hours till 8 :) instead of having to be at work at 8!

yes i am :) but i realized that i put in for vacation but didn't get it approved! Meaning, my supervisor wasn't there to approve it yesterday even though everyone was emailed i was taking vaca. should be OK.

I'm nervous that I accidentally forgot that my vacation is supposed to be approved oops - the secretary urged me to hand it in and I forgot til today when it dawned on me that it needs to be approved lol ah well well see what happens Monday big mistake on my part but hopefully Not treated as major come Monday

R is feeling pretty good...seems he wants some time off on unemployment before starting a new job. he's 58 & seems to want some time to relax right now. he's told me he'll wait a couple months at least before going back to work...

Breakfast at work: coffee 50 with milk / stevia, coconut chocolate covered bar 170. 220.

Snack: egg / avocado wrap 250. and these awesome scrambled egg whites from a quick walk with coworker in AM..! yes, really. 100. hopefully not more, it was a big serving of egg whites.

Lunch: another avocado wrap 200, tomato 50 with salt / pepper, leftover beans 100, maybe plums for a snack 50. 400.. roasted veggies? 100, coffee 50

Before gym: caffeine and carbs for sure, banana 350, whipped cream 100/jello

during / after gym: small banana 100, zone bar 200, 2 atkins peanut butter cups 150. 450. good.

 Today: 2050, excellent to say the least.

6day: 2185, excellent.

 took a very long way home, so had some extra snacks as it's late now before gym...relaxing for a few minutes, then out to do my routine. I skipped a day or two this week, which is fine! My plan is to go tonight and then sunday morning i'm thinking - instead of Saturday night as it's pretty late now and i'm better off doing the next workout Sunday, not Saturday afternoon :) 

I decided to take a vacation day tomorrow at the last minute. Will be seeing a movie with a friend and having lunch with her. then going out to the Beach with R.  Saturday i'll hang with R also, to see at least 1 concert (free). and Sunday i'm also hanging with him, another free concert. ...Laundry somewhere inbetween - probably Saturday morning or afternoon.


I was debating a sick day, but i'm glad i didn't take one and that i made it into work, late by 10min...I'm leaving early today at 4:10...and getting my butt to the gym. I've been working late and not focussing on my own goals for after work fitness stuff...Now that it's August I'm keeping my commitment to do better. And NOT to take any sick days!  I'm trying to conserve all vaca time for during the Winter, to make that season when i don't want to exercise and it REALLY is tough to do stuff after work - it'll be easier. I'll be able to use vaca / sick days then...NOT now.

Also I have Jewish holidays in September, which i'll take off WITHOUT pay.  So these are days off I'll have to exercise and celebrate the holidays at my own pace...probably watch a service at home with my parents (we aren't members of a synogogue to go only 2x a year is not worth it) .  so, I have days off, plenty, come fall / Winter so i'm really looking to BLOW thru summer without taking days when it's easier to push myself, the weather is good to get out to gym later and get biking and jogging in after work..

Like Donkey says, I have to remember my limits...and rest still when i have to, not push too hard right now. I feel better now that i'm here at work.  Now that i'm at work and realizing i can take my schedule at my own pace more, I feel better again. I am in charge of my after work schedule to a degree, and I will remember that!

I normally dislike tomatoes, but BF like to eat them with seasoning, and so i've been trying it more lately. Not bad!

I accidentally left my awesome thai food at coworker's house and told her not to haul it all the way into the city for me and for her to just enjoy it this week...i do plan to pick up some cooked veggies to eat for dinner tonight ....and most of the thai dinner i forgot was chicken as i ate like all the veggies when we ordered it last night haha...so...oh well. i have sausagees i can cook up tonight to also have for wiork this week and tuna still in the cupbard.as well as tofu...i guess i'm good. and eggs. it would have been nice to have the thai chicken i had ordered with a lot left, but, that's a loss now! haha.

total today: 2150, EXCELLENT to say the very least! :)

2 day: 2200 with a fun fun fun day out east at aquarium doing all kinds of awesome things :)

Back to the grind tomorrow :)


i gotta say, this was an awesome weekend not having the gym during it...i felt like i was away...it is kind of inspiring to do the gym Mon/Wed/Fri again this week....!..But i will take a break from it still tomorrow - and go Tuesday / Thursday / Sunday so i can rest tomorrow after work bc too much activity and too little rest isn't my thing! ha!

snacks during and after the concert which was AMAZING and soooo cultural (we were seriously in "the hood"...coffee 50 and small snack 100 and then a coconut drink after bc we were soaked from sweating and dancing so much fun 100..250

This week I've been waking up hungry too. Not that the hunger wakes me up, but my tummy seems to be ready for food sooner than usual. It's been hard to hold out for breakfast until after 9am.

but it is worth it...and i don't drive, so the commute is very distracting and works to not eat before i leave...nobody eats basically on public transport, so i don't get tempted either. when i used to drive, i'd be tempted to eat before work!

lately, due to hormones this week before tom, i've been eating higher cals just going with what i feel my body wants.

 Grrrr....still annoying coworker issue where she's literally singling me out as her punching bag...so far i'm ignoring and also standing up for myself saying i didn't say what she in her mind is assuming i am saying.

she's actually blaming me for things that i'm not saying. unreal. like she said i guessed that country music was something a coworker liked when i never said it...it's really weird what she is doing. she's manipulating my words and instigating. 

already today, she's said "oh, isn't it interesting everyone in here grew up poor, except for J (my name)"...she's unreal. she's trying to show how i have it too easy and don't work for anything. she's not a friend we all know by now..

my plan is to tell her as calmly and straighforwardly as i can to stop making comments towards me as i don't find them positive and i don't appreciate them. that's it.  

she ended yesterday with a bang on me and she started this morning with another bang. people notice a little bit, thankfully. it's not like the whole group is ganging up right now, just her.  and her raining on my parade will stop very, very soon.

i was advised by someone to call her out on it right after she does it...i'm waiting for an opportunity as i KNOW there'll be another one this AM...she even commented that i have "such a face on" bc i'm not reacting how she wants to to her teases! she's incredibly deceitful, disgusting person. i had no idea. i used to consider her a friend. she deceived me! she has such an ego, i never worked with her in the past in the same area of the office at all, and she has such an ego she is not near as important or smart or knowledgable as i thought...it's her ego that was speaking about herself. she fools people. she's deceitful and rude, an antagonist, and most of all i'd say  a narcissist. i'm disgusted by her. i will distance myself and not be a friend or friendly more than hi and goodbye. she's done.

Boy...she is relentless isn't she...with her teasing/bullying? If she is a facebook friend I would block her from seeing your posts...or unfriend her....she really should not see anything to do with your life....by any chance...is she the one that you went to that meeting thing with...and her sons? That kind of behavior doesn't belong in an office.

Yes. She is the one i went away with, with her sons. the one i also went ziplining with the same weekend on the way home. she is very jealous i see of my upbringing and with comparing her less fortunate upbringing with mine and bringing it up at work. so weird i do not understand how this is OK!

i don't want to unfriend her, but, i have limited what she sees of me. i'll work to limit everything, actually. but keep her as a "facebook friend" that sees very little that i post.

it's been a disaster with her. i am astounded with her turn against me. it's so weird the part where she actually hears what i say and uses my words against me, transforming my words to be against others, when i'm not...why does she keep rapping on me for dragging others under the bus, when i am not? why does she keep stirring my words up and saying i said things that i didn't? ever deal with this???

she has been in my exact room / office for two weeks and it stinks with her here. this is the first time she started with this big deal of teasing, the past 2 weeks and it's not changing for better.

i was advised to tell her to stop quietly right after she commits a sin again...i already missed my earlier opportunity so i'm waiting...for my next opportunity but giving her signals i am not going along with her.

I had one of those in my office a few years back...she was pretty relentless with me, too. I must admit I fell to her level and gave it right back, but that only created more stress for me, and made me feel really bad about myself because I had resorted to the same type of badgering she was giving me.

Well...if it is any consolation....jealous people are usually the ones that single a person out to dog on. By being such a jerk...she is making herself look ignorant...I believe others will start turning on her after awhile once they figure out that they will also become her targets...one thing about a bully...if you don't react...they don't find so much fun in it...and will move on to some other victim...others will tire of her attitude....HUGS

she ended up texting me so i told her to stop that i didn't like it...and she ended up saying i have no right to judge her or something...she has her own views how everything comes off...no need to even explain anything more to her...so i simply ignored her 2nd text. also, she grew up poor and had to dig it into me about her parents, which wasn't the point as she's been teasing me a lot about a bunch of things....so i'm not sure why she had to go off playing the "poor family" stuff when she's 42 and her parents long gone. she seems to hold a lot of upset feelings about her upbringing which NO, i cannot relate to...but also i do need to "feel bad" for her now or think she's SO GREAT now...all because she's come so far ...at least academically...i have lost my respect for her bc of her EGO and her inability to say anything nice to me or about me in front of others...i don't feel bad about not wanting to be her friend. for TWO WEEKS she's dealt me garbage so i waited 2 weeks that's long enough right? i know you are coming from a hard working family, she's originally from the Oregon west coast near the water. her parents didn't help her much...i don't know why she talks so much about it still, very often lately, to even our whole room of folks. eh, not my problem anymore or really ever was. I don't need to take her feelings on.

she said she wasn't making me feel bad, when i did feel bad! she sees things at a really strange, biased angle. i think this is a narcisist. tho i'm not sure. it's like she contrives things to how she wants to see or hear them and not as they really are.

she's actually blaming me for things that i'm not saying. unreal. like she said i guessed that country music was something a coworker liked when i never said it...it's really weird what she is doing. she's manipulating my words and instigating. 

already today, she's said "oh, isn't it interesting everyone in here grew up poor, except for J (my name)"...she's unreal. she's trying to show how i have it too easy and don't work for anything. she's not a friend we all know by now...
