lunch:  toast 100, lil bit chicken 100?, veggies with a little sauce 150: 400 TOPS.

810...gonna make this a GREAT day- the end. & bed early.

big dinner but all veggies (indulged though) bc of sauce and stuff - around 800.

around 1650, most. excellent.

3-day average: around 2000, good.

no exercise, bed early.

Monday Morning Edit: after going to the gym last night, I did feel better. It wasn't worth it to skip. Getting good sleep helped me have a good workout. I must remember this - if i'm going to have a full day, i can at least get good sleep and try not to skip workouts on the weekend. Overall, a successful weekend no doubt.

And i've realized that even if i wake up tired, i can definitely get re-energized by later in the afternoon!

Sunday entry:

Yesterday (Saturday) was a success. But today i'm feeling extremely tired / run down.  My legs feel tired. My left ankle is so-so.  I want to skip the gym later. I don't have the energy for it & also for a full week ahead. So yeah, i have to skip it.

Lately, I'm skipping the gym too often.  I think i skipped it again recently - yes, last weekend i skipped it too. Maybe if I do feel better tonight but it's sorta doubtful now.

First, I gotta shower  & do laundry.

Maybe i should just try to get one simple thing done at a time...

If i go to gym, leg exercises will obviously be skipped because my legs are already tired. I could do a shortened session. And more sitting while lifting weights or something. YES. I will try....but first i'm thinking to get this laundry done. Chances are HUGE that the laundry room downstairs has a lot of people - but i will def do my laundry before gym.

Also, if laundry room is full - i'll use the opportunity to go out and buy extra food for the week & buy some kombucha. that's all. the place is 5-10 minutes away. might as well. but again...one thing at a time.

...need to shower. it's already noon.

I woke up around 9-10 and finally got outta bed 10. Had a humongous breakfast, more healthy than not:

Healthy oatmeal with chia and flax 210, made with water but still very creamy from chia i guess, i added stevia, was craving a banana so included it 140, then had a complete package of jello lemon flavor that i made last night with 100 cal of strawberries mixed into it 50. total breakfast is approx 500.

then i fell asleep almost 2 hours more after breakfast....

Noon: 2 big servings of siracha flavor veggie chips 250-300.

750 approx so far...just need to shower lol...i will def need caffeine if i go to the gym. thinking about it. ANOTHER IDEA IS TO SHOWER, DO LAUNDRY, AND ONLY GO TO THE GYM AND FORGET ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE. ALSO A DECENT OPTION.

2pm lunch: leftovers chicken 150, salad with dressing 200. 350....and dessert around 2:45pm was two pieces of this awesome toaster bread (really thick & only tastes good toasted) with a little cream cheese 250.

1350..will be going early to gym around 3:30pm after i take up my clothes from the dryer. really tired day feeling like I have a hangover :( but i didn't drink. just really tired.

and 3:30pm - fiber one key lime cheesecake bar with monster energy drink sugar free of course. 150.

1500 before GYM (i am going)...sore throat is getting better....hope to keep it this way!...oh i had squash...i knew i forgot something! 50

1550 before gym...is what it is.

dinner was also healthy but at least 550-600.

total for Sunday is 2150. too darn high again, but healthy & i ate in moderation.

average for Sat & Sunday is approx 2200.

I was tired today, but had a goal of walking 5 miles again today. I didn't want to go because I was tired, but I sent anyway and just walked slower than usual - 4 miles - and then walked another mile later in the day with my granddaughter in the wagon! Anyway - I think sometimes it's about being flexible and getting it done, or taking a rest and to get it done later or tomorrow.

I totally debated not going Sunday & going Monday....but realized it wouldn't be worth it...because the end result would end up being MOST probably a skipped day....so i was flexible...and did plan / know i'd be tired. for now on, i'll be stronger mentally about it...i'll realize "YES, i'm going to be tired, YES I KNOW..." and realize i'll still go anyways.

at least i didn't have very much to do Sunday as like i said - i planned for being tired. the extra sleep helped.

In the past, i gave into laziness / giving up temptations so much easier & quicker than i do now...

I am learning, at 34 years old just turned it on 9/9/16.

I hope to continue with my approach of not giving up as easily....especially when i enter the NYPD academy...i hope to maintain my lean physique and healthy eating / exercise goals.

I have learned that i need to party / socialize less...in order to reach my own goals. :-D

Seems #115 is hard enough...i know for a fact, based on previous experience around 10 yrs ago, that it took serious commitment to maintain #112. So, I like to keep this goal lower, in hopes to get there & have a happy medium around #115 and when i reach #112...that's it...no lower.

Parade was great but happy to go home now. Went into city with friends they drove us and we took the subway from queens into NYC. Going home I am taking, right now sitting on it, the express bus from NYC to where I live in Queens with my parents Bc they parked by me to go home. I will walk from bus to my apt - 10 min.

Was in city from around 11:30 till 5. Long day! Parade was nice and got a hat :-)

3pm: Went to the Meatball Shop 74th & 2nd Ave in NYC with my mom&dad and sister and her husband also came out for my Birthday lunch. I had a slider of beef burger with pesto sauce small bun 400 tops, green cooked Swiss chard very nice 150, heavier sautéed eggplant and sauce of course 200?, some of dad's food 100?, and tastes of ice cream and mom's lentil burger 100. Hopefully not more than 950.

1450 so far = great :-)

Want to try to go buy ice cream but probably gonna stay home for the night once I get home around 6:30pm.

2200 total. Lots of veggies actually at 3pm and later 7pm back at home.

TODAY I'M 34!

9/9/82 IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Woke up with sore throat but overall feeling good. Not partying this weekend to celebrate bc last weekend I partied tons. Tomorrow i'm marching in a parade in morning which is why i'm taking it easy tonight. Happy.

Home: sparkling vinegar, had it early, it worked just fine. i decided to get up early....which i will be doing. helps me relax and do what i gotta do. 50

At work: banana 120, coffee with milk and coconut water also 120 tops, wrap 100 with lox 100 and cream cheese 100: 540-550

snack: 150 - protein bar Oatmeal flavor, was ok.

Light & healthy lunch: 350 cal (too salty cabbage but decent whole bag of shredded with sea salt, veggie quinoa burger, mustard, chips to balance it out. Bai drink 5 calories and caffeine. 

1100 before going home, awesome. planning to KEEP it extra low tonight. I gotta.

1850 total.

weekly avg: 1930.

Last weekend was party-central for me :-). Tomorrow I'm marching in the NYC Labor Day parade, just walking with the Electrical Union Local #3 & need to wake up early to be there - so tonight will be an early night for me. I doubt I'll get out early because 2 of the most important coworkers here that do similar tasks as I do are out (one on vaca & one is sick). I am happy overall & glad to go home & chill. Even did a small food shopping last night so I really am able to go home, take a sleeping pill & catch up on some rest - i went to bed late last night & slept around 4-5 hours so tonight i'm looking forward to resting my body.!!!

Overall, I'm feeling really, really great.

My mom may join my dad at the parade - if so, I'll eat with them after it's finished for lunch in the city to celebrate my bday - then go home & relax - maybe laundry on Saturday while home :-D so i don't have to do it Sunday lol...

And Sunday = gym & maybe small food shopping....

No big plan. And very happy about it. I'd say a parade is big anyways!

It was the New York City (Manhattan) Labor Day Parade...definitely a big deal for the labor unions & stuff. :-D I was happy to go because the past 3 years i had an excuse of my legs bothering me due to shin splints / tendonitis.

This year a am SO MUCH STRONGER and almost there to being as close to 100% as I will be by the summer----i was so happy to go to the parade...because I was ABLE TO. I am so thankful to G-D i was able to walk in it...really :)

This week will have to have higher cals...because it seems that limiting them (as i want to do) is working to the opposite effect on me...the structure and demands i'm putting on myself is making me want to eat more....so....dealing.

Digestion is also very off this week : / ....oh well.  I need to maybe buy Kombucha tonight in order to have a stronger drink tomorrow morning...and also, must get up earlier bc there's more traffic on the roads as NYC schools started today.

Shoutout to BiscottiBody! I miss you!!! I miss a lot of the regulars...hope all is with with you guys!!!!!

Working on lower calories for the remainder of this week until Friday.  I'll prob end with an average of around 2000-2100...trying my best to get calories low.

Morning: Sparkling Apple Cider Vinegar flavored blueberry & ginger (extremely good!), seltzer with stevia, plum. 80. 

Work: half the smallest bar (shared with boss) 100 most, coffee decaf with milk and 2 splenda 50, and at a diferent time a small whipped vanilla cupcake flavor yogurt. 100

So i did it - low cal - approx 350 cal before lunch. Very light meals as you can assume.

Lunch: i will increase the carbs....

there are sales on subway sandwiches, so i might be doing this a LOT this week.

I see you are still hitting it! I saw your previous comment about partying not mixing with healthy habits - I celebrated retirement a little too much last Friday night - made cosmos at home with neighbors - and that Saturday walk was HARD!!!!

Yes...when i overindulge...i feel the same as you...the next day(s) are really hard. too much celebrations on my end this weekend also. And i can't limit calories...just not feeling it right now...in order to make up....

Morning All :-D

Home: seltzer with steva and sparkling vinegar drink 30

8:15am work: wrap 100, salami 100, cc 100 300. coffee 50.

approx 400. 

Just had a little too much caffeine...actually gonna fall asleep because of it....blech.

10:45-11:15am: cooked squash around a cup and a small bar 200.

1150 at most after lunch. healthy lunch. it was a microave enchilada meal and i added extra green veggies in (cooked okra & cooked collard greens - i made it last week & still have a lot).

1300 before workout

1800 after workout :-) at most. Good!  (after workout the replenishment of choice was mostly carbs...and salt. fine)  it was a flatbread with veggies only and pickled ones and olive oil from subway. and chips. no meat - completely not in mood.

2140 4-day total. getting better.

Breakfast: more carbs than anything. healthy. banana and a small plum 150. Bluebery oatmeal mix with flax and chia and some added sugar 300, peanut butter 150. total here approx 600. healthy. 

Early lunch: some cooked Spanish pumpkin with salt that i made 50-100cal, low carb wrap 100 with cream cheese 100 and salami 100, still sipping an energy drink. total here: 400 tops.

1,000. decent. Today i do not need to have very low calories...just average or a bit high depending how i feel. Just relaxing. Def NO gym.

1pm chips 200

3pm light ice cream 250

5pm early dinner: craving real food after having chips 200, chicken breast with skin and ketchup and mustard. 400 tops for the chicken.

2050 at 5pm. i may just end here, we'll see.

2250 approx. fine.

2250 3-day average.

lunch: wrap with cream cheese and salami, sf energy drink: 300. on ride out to Suffolk County, LI with my friend...

at BBQ - many servings chips - 500-600??, biggish hamburger 400? bun 100, half a hot dog 100 biggish, some sausage and peppers 400 oily, tons of veggies 200. total here: 1800 tops.

total today: 2550 tops. DECENT. oh...and a drink 200. 2750, tops. i hope.

2250 2-day average. fine.

Slept in a lil bit & getting ready for a bbq out east with good friends. It's a long drive there, but should be fun once we're out there. Will be a long day with the driving and all but worth it. Glad the weather held up & that the hurricane Hermine didn't stop the fun this weekend...I will be cutting up loads of veggies to bring to the bbq. My friends know i'm the veggie queen.  It will def be a late night tonight coming home & that's ok. Planned on it already.
