Snack: will be almonds. 150.

Lunch: extremely healthy lunches lately - last of my turkey burgers 120, lots of veg 300?, and cracker 130 and fruit if i want also: 550 ...fruit is 50 more 600.

Snack before jogging flavored water and a biscotti 100

1350 before dinner,

dinner: made a mistake and ordered chow mein (noodles) instead of chop suey (cabbage): 400, soup 100, egg white and leftover wheat gluten 200? , ice cream dessert 100

Reading at lunch also :-D

Healthy meals !!!!! veggies this week have been really tasty! same for next week is my plan! :)

Walk / Jog plans after work today.  I now jog on Wednesdays after work. and either Friday or Weekend a second time. :-) Excited to go to park after work & I change at work before i leave for the park so i don't have to go home or change at park...trying to save time :-)


I am loving this new addition of getting into jogging fully. I cannot wait to achieve this challenging goal :)

1pm Lunch turkey burger 120, daikon with mushroom in a light sauce 300, cracker 120, peach 50: 600.

snack before gym: 100

light meal after gym: 450

1800. PERFECT. this is more like the calories i prefer to be eating. better!

Lately, i feel a STRONG DESIRE to be very ALONE at lunch and away from work. I now have an HOUR. I'll find somewhere to read today and eat at my desk...i just don't want to talk to ANYONE.  i'm busier, now working to 5 and not 4:30....

......and i'm a bit aggrivated but pulling thru. it's just overall indecent and annoying for my boss to constantly be showing me how he's just out to hurt me emotionally whenever he possibly can. Moreover, my seat is being changed for the reason that i'll not be able to see everyone coming late and leaving early anymore (not the reason i was told, but the VERY OBVIOUS reason).

...I'm not a stupid woman. In fact, I'm quite smart.  I'm trying to be calm and i am but stupid things like this get under my skin!

Anyways, i'm not stupid, i see all the attempted to be clever maneuvers. And this is why i will make it as a cop. I will get thru this. 100%. and be stronger for it! Go me!  <3


i have two pairs of jeans that are identical and size and cut and style (but one fits better than the other).  I pray that the pair i'm wearing today is the smaller....and not that i've gained weight!? need to check when i get home tonight....but boy do these feel EXTREMELY TIGHT!  pretty sure they are the smaller pair (they are identical but not made identically - old navy brand - not perfect!)

I hate work place drama. I feel if someone else can worry about what I'm doing or not doing they obviously need more work to do.

I have people that complain about everything - too hot, too cold, too loud, something was moved or missing. It is endless.

I hope things at least are tolerable until you leave for training.

Do you get paid for training? Hope So!

6:30am: Home: tasty kombucha 70 and a warm black tea bag on my stye...must continue this so it heals...

8am: Breakfast at work: wrap 100, cream cheese 100, salami/lox mix 100, coffee 50: 350, very small banana 100.

snack: prob almonds if i need or just sucking candies 170

1:00pm  healthy lunch: lower fat - lots of bok choy with some dressing 250 tops, turkey burger 150 very low fat, matzah cracker 120, peach 80: 600 cals. laying off caffeine for most of today - it's not good for me. peach will be on way home. and i read at lunch, nice. i came back from lunch and it's 2pm....still 3 more hours but reading at lunch was NICE i'll say....i can make this long lunch work.

BIG dinner even though i wasn't supposed to: chips 200, lots of avocado 200, lots of semi-fried fish 300?, big amount of potato, roasted with some oil, 300? 1,000 cal. good i stopped eating.

2300 today, but at least it ends healthy.

3day average: 2185 = too high.  def gained a pound in my stomach area i feel it...must stop the gain...no worries.


I now work till 5pm instead of 4:30pm with an HOUR MANDATORY LUNCH not a half hour which is simply wasted time here at work but i'll spend it reading or doing other productive activities that aren't work related (bc my boss likes to be a b*tch and give me stress for real!), so my eating lunch will prob shift to always being at 1pm again, not noon, bc i get too hungry in afternoon and too early when i eat at noon and leave at 5. too many hours.

cont'd from above: the stye is actually on the full outside this time of my eyelid, upper, outside of my eye. never had that. it's from the dirt in my bed that i didn't wash before sleeping last week after the construction.  :-P

7pm after gym bigger meal: rice 150-200, chop suey 250-300, part of an egg 50, part of veggie burger 100, chips 100 bc craving salt bc i drink tons of water at gym.  and tomato salad 100..850 tops.

Slept in today after taking a sleeping pill last night. Nice. slept from around 9pm till 8am today or a little less than that. wonderful! body felt very relaxed in the AM!

After breakfast....i totally fell back to sleep for like TWO more hours! so.....yeah, my body does feel good. And the stye in my eye could use the extra rest. I needed this!

glad i cooked the turkey burgers which should have been cooked YESTERDAY per the package. but they'll be fine. glad they didn't go to waste!  they'll last till around Tuesday/ Wednesday -  that's good!


9am Big Breakfast: oatmeal 150, almond milk 50, ghee 70, honey 50, protein powder 70, peanut butter 220, cinnamon, stevia. trying to think if i left anything out!!! 620...and a half banana yeah. 750. oh right and a tiny plum (calories included). tasty & filling..... 

12:30 (while cooking turkey burgers for later!) i had a carb snack lunch before jogging soon...! perfect weather outside for jogging....! Fiber one cookie 120, kombucha 40 need to poop, sorry for the TMI. and chips 230 (and bites of turkey burger but not counting it bc it was only part of one that i'll finish later!) 400 - i guess that counts as a lunch!

5pm early dinner after jogging (i'll be going out as well to a bday party but figured i'd stuff myself now and just pick later & have a drink or two later instead of eating big later i did it at home now). 450 mostly veg.

1600 before going out tonight, pretty perfect cals, actually!  I do have to lower cals but lately i'm training so with the jog and weights this weekend, i'm ok...but....i do prefer slightly lower cals - like even in the 2000's instead of closer to 2200 averages.

jogging went pretty well - i averaged walking for 1/4 of the distance and 3/4 was jogging - i am def getting far better. still need work, but way better.

i'm glad you do bc it helps me to share this....i still get a little bit anxious, but i'm getting better about the whole thing every time....reminding me now that i have to go tomorrow after work! 2x per week this month!

i am happy to have such an important challenge in my life!

snack before gym: will be seltzer with stevia and carbs - fiber 1 cookie of course, still loving them. oatmeal flavor i think today. 150

after: cookie 350, chips 250, banana 100 - 700

2300, fine.

feeling a little chubby...gotta watch it.

6day average: 2120. eh. 

gym was awesome. i'm thinking take a break from cookies and start to eat something mroe real after the gym or to cook protein muffins / pancakes again for a little bit :-P

Do you have a progress chart or something you use for the NYPD? Do they have a fitness test?

DO you take a pre-test to determine how well you will do or what area that needs work? I'm excited for you.

I can do everything easily, except for the jogging :-)

I know the test is an obstacle course, to get in. I know i can pass....but running in the academy i am preparing for. it's running often for 6 months of it....so i am conditioning myself now :-D

I don't use a progress chart, but now i'm in month #2 of jogging training...where i walk / jog 2x per week instead of 1x like last month.

Instead of a progress chart, i do the work, knowing that i AM making progress! :-D

Back at work - so thankful for the 4-days off in a row.  My skin is better of course and I am feeling pretty good too :-)

11am - 1 egg and 1 fiber one cookie 200 cal.

800 before LATE lunch maybe - since i ended up with a bigger snack ...lately i just eat more & don't seem to have too much of a problem maintaining my weight bc i've added jogging in even the 1x a week has helped.!!! nice

Healthy lunch: lots of leftover rice 300? some oil, some meat so little though 100? and lots of shredded lettuce 50. 450-500.

3:30pm snack feeling very tired and think i got a stye ugh. eye puffy at top, but i already have the stuff for it here at work! almonds 150

1450 before dinner...and maybe fruit at home if i need to.

dinner: chinese but pretty low cal and frozen yogurrt at home 600 total

2050 today - awesome

yes, i have a stye somewhere at the top eyelid this time. I have the ointment stuff, don't need to visit a doctor - it ust looks swolen and puffy right now. at least it'll fix itself soon enough.




I was on time to work, but had to rush....NOT GOOD. my fault for leaving late.

But at least I was on time on my day back!

Today I deal with a half hour lunch and I play to sew my shirt that has a hole at lunch in a bathroom downstairs. Might as well make use of my time. In the bathroom bc it's the shirt I wore today - NEW - and i spotted a hole - sh*t sewing job from this company ugh!

Meeting my dad for dinner & his friend is going to put up my blinds tonight around 7pm.

The men yesterday who installed the windows damaged my ceiling and there's also a large crack in the living room wall due to the very heavy hands at hamering. i'm just saying.  It doesn't bother me...it'll have to get fixed down the road. I'm just happy with the blinds going back up for now. !!!!


I showered really well last night (i was actually in there for a long time, debating how i'd skip it this AM on purpose) so i'm actually skipping it this AM and getting out of here early for work - do NOT want to be late on my first day back after the most days I've had off in a row since....hmmm....gotta think when the last time I had Sat, Sun plus 2 extra days (mon / tues off....) ? Feels GOOD to have the mental break from work this weekend, really GREAT. I'm clean - i'll just wipe myself with some wipes....i didn't sweat or anything last night and my hair is short so it looks fine. :-) gotta do what i gotta do. and wear some perfume. it's not obvious. i'll be wearing a dress shirt (collar shirt) with jeans.

8am breakfast quickly at home: wrap 100, pb 200, banana 120 & seltzer with stevia

10:30am snack: roasted lightly salted almonds and seltzer with stevia as these men work. I'll give them water & granola bars later when they are done. i have nothing to give them now....maybe i'll give them granola bars as a snack after lunch - nah - when they leave they can take the box home. i don't want to disrupt their work now. i'm staying OUT of it.

650 before some sorta lunch, but not eating when they do....i'll walk to housing office while they eat and put $ on my laundry card at that time....get in some exercise bc i've been on this couch since 8am and it's now almost 11am - supposedly they eat at 11am.  Yes, did a sorta short 15-20min walk, better than nothing...and man these men work SO HARD! burning so many calories like you wouldn't believe! hammering away, carrying extremely large glass panes (some of my window area is not windows, but glass panes only. it's cool, the building i live in, especiallly the windows.

11:30am lunch ate early bc men ate at 11 so when they went back to work, i ate: rice, yeah a lot, 250?, tofu 150?, some veg in some sauce 200? 600 i'd say, doubt more. healthy.

1250 after healthy lunch. today will not be low cal but shouldn't break the bank either. i might watch a movie here that i took out from Library & then gym later this afternoon. i already put $$$ on my laundry card while the men had lunch from 11-11:30am.

3pm coffee falling asleep 50 (going to bed at 2am has its downfalls! haha) later a fiber 1 cookie 120

After gym: protein cookie 360, small frozen yogurt 80, roasted squash leftovers from what i cooked so good!!! 150 600 total.

no coffee today but i'm sorta craving it and may go out to get some and dunkin donuts before watching a movie? or just settle to read a book, actually. i doubt i'll get into any movies today. prob will just return them to the library..


I am off work today specifically bc my housing requires someone to be home during this construction work (window replacements). i didn't want to come into work really late at 1-2pm so i took the day off so I don't have owing time on my conscience also.

So I am having semi-major construction work done in my apartment - ALL old windows taken out and new ones installed (including the terrace sliding doors)...they came early and i didn't have time to SHOWER lol....at least i still look decent from yesterday & i had time, just in the nick of time! time - to use the bathroom thank the lord for that one! Glad i don't need to sit here all needing to poop all morning! LOL.

It's my apt window installation today - no time to shower bc they are here early!!!!!  so i'm chilling on the couch while the men do their work......it's not as loud as i thought...thankfully. it's kinda cool seeing these workers interract. Some are more authoritative and confident...others are better at laying low....it's a good team i can tell....they all know their jobs & parts.

So...yeah, there's like 6 men in my apt. lol construction workers. they are doing great work.  it'll get done & i can enjoy the rest of my day...planning to watch a movie & go to gym & put money on my laundry card (dam* - totally almost forgot to do this! glad i remembered as the next time i take a day off from work will not be till SEPTEMBER if i can help it!).

YES - I MUST remember to put $ on my laundry card to which hopefully they take cash bc i have a LOT of extra cash from my friend paying me for the ticket I bought him for last night as well as a ticket on his bday to a show that mostly women will be at - but he said he wanted to go...and i had a 4h ticket.

9am-9:45am Breakfast: some of that squash roasted with herbs and peanut oil 200 (lots of cals but def very healthy- trying to eat less but i just cooked it and it was so tasty and warm right out of the oven!), small wrap 100 with lox 50 and cream cheese 100: 450

Lunch chips 150 tops, wrap with lox 100 total and turkey burger 150 400. 950...

strawberries and drink before leaving for city

dinner: 1,000 -1100 tops (had extra carbs at dinner and some bites of a custard so that amps up calories a bit...)

snack before bed: banana & seltzer with stevia

2300. today, probably tops.

Miss Saigon, the broadway show, was EXCELLENT. Singers were outstanding and acting was fabulous. Seats royally SUCKED. i could hardly see....had to peak between heads. Never had such bad seats like last night, but the show did make up for it! And tickets were cheap, so, i guess i can't complain too much ;-D

Also, the restaurant food wasn't good either....i had a groupon and usually have good experiences, but the quality was only like 6/10 if i had to rate  it!

Still great experiences, still worth doing it VERY MUCH.  :-D  the guy i went with hadn't seen a Broadway show he said in 10 years and he's 56 now...i don't think i'll ask him again bc he said he loved it...and i know he did....but he complained a lot about the seats being uncomfortable (he is tall) and that it was long....he's a friend, but i'm not interested in him romantically, hopefully there's a man that i will meet that is MORE into the things i love!


Awesome day in store for Memorial Day. I did all my extra laundry at 6:30am this morning! so prepped for the week. I even roasted up some calabaza squash too! I'm set....feels so good.  Plans for the early afternoon include going to a flea market about 1/2 hour away. I am trying to limit calories a hair as i have plans in the city (NYC) for dinner and a Broadway show with my friend, Ricky. Going into the city will take some time, we'll probably go around 3:30-4pm from here to get there.  The dinner I bought us a groupon for a really nice restaurant and the groupon is ok to use on the holiday :-) Food looks amazing on the menu!

We'll prob get home around 11pm-midnight and i do NOT have work tomorrow - getting all new windows installed in my apt along with a new terrace sliding door. The entire 2 buildings here (200 apts) are getting new windows and terrace doors and new balconies....per NYC housing requirements! :)  

So i have to be home during the installation, for my apt, which was scheduled for Tuesday which i feel is kinda nice as it's an extra day off from work in a row, for an extra long 4-day weekend and extra mental REST from my job which was really, REALLY provoking anxiety to the fullest for the past 2 months and now, YES, everything is calm again but i'm loving the 4 days off in a row - using it wisely.
