8am-8:30am breakfast: 600, good. banana, sf jello, protein muffin, chips (big cravings for chips as of late)

snack: yogurt 100 full fat, strawberries 100. 200

12-1pm: lunch: mostly steamed broccoli raab 100, wrap with cc and lox 300. total 400, caffeine.

dinner with dad: up to 700, tops.

total today 1750 is the absolute most and probably far less.

calorie average 4-day: 1930

gym soon then dinner with dad...was planning to do nothing today or just gym and shopping but shopping cancelled for dinner with dad, pushing it to get to gym before dinner and not skip. Trust me, i want to do nothing...and actually, since weekend looks like bad weather, i may go sundress shopping on weekend. :-) it can wait as i don't have $ anyways.


I go back to work tommorow. gym today and dinner with dad later on when he gets out of work. so i realize i'll have to get out to the gym around 2pm....or i may just go earlier - prob not though.

Dad pushed me to get together today (spoke to him last night on the phone)...although i wish he hadn't asked to get together as i'm feeling a bit under and tired. i had wanted to buy the summer dress - and don't feel like running around ALL DAY. so the shopping will wait. Don't have much money to spend anyways. Hope to be back on track with $$$ come August!

I wanted to buy a light summer dress at old navy bc i only have 1 (which i bought around 3yrs ago!) and my guy friend here already saw it. I was thinking to get a dress for when i see him next (like a short one to the knees or hair shorter and sleeveless...you know, typical summer clothing....but i am too lazy to go out to the store...i may change my mind, but totally NOT likely. I don't wear many dresses.

yeah, i might just skip the gym today and go tomorrow lol. quite possible...

then i could go to dinner with dad and maybe get the dress after? there's a sale today.

I'm just so not motivated to do very much as i did run around a lot of yesterday....

but if i did get the gym out of the way...i could even buy the dress after work tomorrow...

glad my dad wanted to get dinner with me, but it makes me schedule a little more restricted as i would have went to the gym just around dinnertime as i usually do.

thinking out loud...need a summer dress...to wear when going out with guys especially lol.

Yes, i hope to even find 2. And i do not think i'll have to pay an arm and leg which is good! I don't wear dresses often, but I would like to have them as part of my wardrobe for this summer if I need to wear one! And they'll last for many summer seasons. Styles don't change drastically and it's nice to have a couple go-to's :-)

yeah, it looks delicious...BOK CHOY!

i am actually guesing both veggies can be cooked and then prepared the same exact way as the recipe...

since both bok choy and chinese napa cabbage are tasty when cooked :-) i find them in thai soups often as well as regular veggies in the hot thai dishes! yum!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9am: chocolate candy 20, kombucha 80, seltzer with stevia (drank while company had a dunkin donuts breakfast, but i just brought my stuff - best choice)...100..oh and a small bit of his donut 20. 120.

I dropped him off at airport around 9:45 and did a few errands / made a few important phone calls, dropped off waterproof camera, picked some home supplies up from Rite Aid..back  home around 11:30am..

.Overall it was a very nice weekend!! I'll write more another time...still trying to get organized...laundry is almost done already now it's 12:30pm & in the dryer till 1pm. I washed everything again - so many towels from two people and beach towels, bedding, even my couch throw...everything. I want my apt back to "Jackie Cleanliness Status..."

Noon brunch sorta: bigger banana 140, protein muffin with sf jello 260, chips 300: 700.

Total so far: 820, planning on a lower cal day

1:30 - Veggies and soy chicken 300 1120...fruit 80...1200

dinner chips and light ice cream :-) 600

1800, good!!

...and i am actually getting a massage at 4pm before i come back here to once again relax. Massage is already paid for, i just have to tip. (i have like 4 massages built up from a 1x per month charge package i have & it'll be nice to use one...)

Forgot to set my clock and needed to not rush this morning because i have a cleaning lady coming & needed to lock my belongings as well as make sure to bring everything with me food-wise for work, make sure to use the bathroom in an unrushed manner as i just can't rush anymore, and make sure to bring gym clothes lol....

So I got to work 45 min late. LOL. All is GOOD. Boss understands completely about the fact it's a busy week thankfully.  I may actually have to work late at work today now...till 5pm with a short lunch oops.

I will probably be writing far less tomorrow thru Monday...visitor at my place for the long weekend over here.

Planning to go to gym tonight for a final workout until Tuesday (Monday i don't want to have to do anything after I drop him at airport. I may change my mind and go to gym Monday, but totally not sure.  

Leg is a bit sore still and tight from all the walking I did at beach this past Monday. But staying positive & stretching...and getting extra sleep.

So like I said, I'm going to gym tonight & also going to pick up my favorite brand of sleeping pill so I have it in case....and reutrn the store brand ones...maybe i'll do that next week at the pharmacy, yes...I will take one probably tonight, my last night taking it until further notice and not while he's here this weekend obviously.

Extra sleep as helped, a lot.


Kombucha: 120 (around 3 servings)

Late breakfast: banana 120, coffee 50, wrap with salami and cream cheese 280. 450.

lunch: around 280 only - popcorn, light tuna, some cabbage and little broccoli too.

total so far: 850...

i think 1950?

Didn't sleep so well last night, but not the worst. (had a lot of caffeine at 5pm before gym is why) I'll make up for it tonight :-)  Tonight is my last night during this workweek that i need to get good sleep, actually.  I can sleep in on Friday!

I hope everyone is doing well. I know also that a lot of people in the US take vacations around this time especially since it's a short week :-)

6am: seltzer with stevia & also some kombucha 50. later coffee at work 50. 100.

8:30am: wrap with cream cheese and salami 300. and most of a banana 100 400.

snack: most of a bar, gave piece to boss 150, all vegan and plant-based, lower protein and higher carb, some fat.

650, excellent.

1pm lunch was light: popcorn 100, spinach 100, kale 100, and some turnip thing in sauce 250? total around 550. no meat. wasn't at all in the mood for the tuna i brought. ugh.

1200 before dinner...

After work plan is to get lots of cooked veggies to last till after my Canadian friend goes back home next week Monday...lol...so i can just come home and chill after i drop him at airport. I don't want to do ANYTHING else on Monday.!!!!!!!!! That's the only plan for today. no walking, no nothing. go home :-) read. and call my dad bc he's being insistant lately that i call him even though this week is rather busy.

Morning 6am: kombucha 50

8:30am at work: coffee with milk & equal 50, low carb wrap with cream cheese and herbed salami (really tasty change of pace!, comes pre-sliced and with TONS of herbs) 300 at most for the wrap

snack: most of a healthy high protein Vegan bar

lunch: healthy. old but still ok sauteed spinach with garlic from last Sunday ouch lol..maybe popcorn, and tofu with some extra sea salt, diet coke 550 appox if i eat most of it.

snack before gym: banana #2 (needing it right now), granola bar, caffeine drink 250 most.

Evening: light ice cream and potato sticks 400

total today is perfect: 1750.

4-day average is a bit high: 1920/day.


 I am sore in upper thighs and hurting a little in my left ankle. If i have to skip the gym i will, although, i'm only going for upper body really. I am trying to continue with my workouts (2 more) this week & will attempt to do it all within reason.

Good thing is I am getting most of the sleep I need (with help of sleeping pills) but if I'm going to get thru this period of time with a lot going on, sleeping is something that can't be skipped. The pills are actually helping me sleep usually beyond the 7-8 hrs, sometimes more like 9hrs.

I am glad my body can rest right now at least while sleeping. I'm too busy to skimp on sleep also.

I have made it so that after my friend from Canada goes home, I will also be able to rest a little bit before going straight back to work -  a 3-day week next week also like this week.  By having the extra rest, I will be able to continue to feel pretty good for the rest of this summer.  

I was going to go to the beach a day after he goes home (next Tuesday, my last day off before going back to work after Canadian guy goes home) with my best friend, but instead decided to take it easy and only do things around my apartment, errands, gym, etc - but no extra day plans like beach or getting together with friends bc it's too much.


It's going to be a crazy week - letting you all know in advance that i may not be commenting a lot as I have a lot going on this week...and my mind is sorta wishy washy right now.

I am working Tues thru Thursday and trying to keep my gym sessions. (one tuesday & one either thursday or maybe friday).

my friend from Canada is coming for the weekend starting Friday afternoon till Monday morning.

I have a TON going on this coming weekend.  :-) All good things.

8am breakfast: Cinnamon apple Mighty Muffin (not in love with the flavor but it was part of a sample package so i wasn't gonna throw it out...) 220, with extra fish oil pills 20, banana 120, and cream cheese on top of the muffin after microwaving 60: 420, good.

11am brunch: soy chicken, mixed veggies in a little sauce 300, chips 130: 430.

12:30lunch? - bacon jerky 300, strawberries 100: 400

total so far is fine: 1250 :-)

afternoon snacks: pringles 100 cal pack, popcorn 100 cal, granola bar 100 cal, banana 120 cal. total: 420

total so far: 1670, fine...going to gym, but just for a light late afternoon sesson. upper front thighs are sore from jet skiing...and my body's digestive system is seriously out of whack today...but also since i'll be out, i'll pick up some food for the week & cash as well when i pass citibank on the way to the gym. I will be busy all day tomorrow & it's best i get this done before the week starts.  I always forget how long it takes my body to rest after a big event / big day / big night. sheesh.

If i go to the gym, i should make in an easy session...or i may just skip it really, undecided still...feeling sore from jet skiing...not sure what i'm doing today really. 

good thing is all my laundry is finished. and i did a few extra things like my throw blanket on my couch and also the bathmats.  I have company coming Friday and these are a couple items i did in advance and glad they are clean and will be pretty clean for the weekend still - saves me laundry time & hassel for laundry i will need to do right before company comes, probably doing it Thursday evening.

Jet Skiing was an overall success for our first time. Now I can rest saying I've done it! Relaxing right now. Glad i don't have plans. laundry and gym should be enough today. I'll try to get to the gym a lil early since i just realized i was at the gym on the early side Friday so it's ok for me to get there a few hours earlier & not have to go late at night tonight....i like to wait 48hrs before sessions.

Yesterday was a FULL and fun day! I met my friend at 1pm and we drove off to go Jet Skiing. We got there at 2pm and filled out the forms and waviers. After all was said and done and we went out with our (private) guide...worked out so well that we got one guide all to ourselves!...we were out in the Atlantic Ocean with the boats and having the time of our lives.  Water was a bit choppy. So we didn't make it to Coney Island...but we still had fun & that's what it should be about. :-) I am proud of my friend jen and myself.  We all know females usually don't have the same levels of testosterone as guys...and i'm proud of us two women heading out and jet skiing on our own. What an awesome day.

After we were done jet skiing, we got back around 4pm to the jet ski rental place. Around 5pm we were back at my friend's house and we hopped out of her car and into mine. We went to quickly drop our waterproof cameras off at CVS by here house (and also pretty close to my work) and i also picked up some sugar free drinks for us as we were both STARVING. We then drove off to go out to eat at a Hibachi place sorta by her (20 min away) and we shared the main dish which was all hibachi veggies and then extra bean sprouts instead of noodles / rice...and Chilean Sea Bass. It's worth it to share. We also had a nice soup and salad. She got two drinks but I did the "right thing" and had an appetizer of hibachi asparagus! haha. Big meal as I ate the entire thing. We were so hungry.

We also did a fast shopping at a discount jewelry store before dinner since we were in a shopping center and everything was on sale for around $1.99 each! and the earrings / necklaces were a really NICE selection for that price!!

When dinner was over, we drove to another town called Forest Hills. It's also in Queens. She wanted to pick up some pastries for both her boyfriend and daughter who was coming home the next day to celebrate her bday with my friend. So we went there. Forest Hills is a very "uppity & lively" town and a town with a huge nightlife. Many restaurants and bars and afffluent people there. We walked around a bit, talked to some friendly cops, and enjoyed life. I got home after dropping her off first...i got home around 11pm! What a nice day yesterday was. Glad to be home today without a place to be. VERY happy about it.
