SUNDAY:
I have something else i have to delve into which will be a little HARDER...studying for the national Project Management Professional exam. I'm very nervous about it because I would say I am not really at the level that others are who choose to take it...this will be a hard task...and i still may not even pass it...but i will try. I will take it in either November or December and try it 2-3 times if I have to! it's $500 every time!
The mornings have been cooler, but the days warm up. In fact, Monday-Wednesday (tomorrow, with tomorrow being the warmest) have been quite warm on my afternoon walks. However, after that, the high temperatures won't be so high. I think Wednesday will be the last high of 79F. After that, the highs are in the 60s, and I"m OK with that. Lows will be in the 40's, and it might be time to turn on the furnace. I try very hard to wait until October to do so.
I'm wearing my Springtime pajamas this week. I'll probably make the switch to winter on Friday.
9:30am breakfast: oats, dried cranberries, almond milk 300.
11-11:45A.snack after walk kombucha 50, tootsie roll pop
12pm lunch wrap 150, melted cheese 100, egg 100, light spread, pretzels 150. iced black coffee (x2) with some water added to big it last longer! sleepy! 500.
3:30-4pm plum, soft pretzel bites 150 with pb 150
6pm grapes 100
7pm dinner: chicken leftovers 200, rice 150, dressing 50, veggies, some roasted veggies 150..550...some potato chips 150 or less. 700. some of spiked seltzer...still doing the same assignment, Test 5, it is terribly difficult for me! just because it involves a lot of research and so far i have found one case and just need to find one more related case!
2050.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
Last evening i just couldn't get myself to Finish the Test 5 at all...so i'm doing it now, 12:30pm Monday, and my goal is def to finish it by around 1:30 today...(taking a long time, lots of analysis and research can't do it quickly as planned!)
My mom stopped by bc she had to come to the area for something else and I was able to take a half hour walk with her. ran into ricky with my mom - hadn't seen him / spoke to him since August 15! I just looked back to see...ONE MONTH ALREADY! cheers to ending a relationship that wasn't working anymore.
Laundry was all done on the weekend including the fleeces for my guinnies. so happy about that!
will be skipping weights today to get back on track with my work and also give my body a little rest and i'm not feeling energized today and prefer to wait to do weights tomorrow (unless i change my mind...)

Yesterday was a full 3 hours of lots of weeding! We weeded around pepper plants, scallions (green onions!), and broccoli. In all instances, the weeds had really fully grown around the plants and it was just a lot of pulling weeds out of the ground.

Weeks 6&7 Reading Assignments: THE FINAL PART!...
Remind me again - what is "BB"? Is that a book or a type of assignment? Is BB extra credit?
It's so exciting to see you coming into the homestretch with your paralegal studies! I'm so amazed at what you've been able to accomplish and maintain during COVID.
Have fun at the farm!!!
"BB" just means "Bulletin Board" and the Instructor has us call the assignments "BB#" for whatever week it's for. we have to "post them" as replies to his original post...kind of like we all reply here actually! they are also not as long (usually) as the tests and they are not worth as much towards our final grades which upsets me when i spend LOTS of time on them! haha! no, it's not extra credit. there's a few different types of activities we have to do for grades and BB assignments are one of them, along with Tests, Research projects on Westlaw & one main writing memo this half of the course.
It's amazing to be finishing up!
i was going to take another paralegal type of course starting when this is done but now i see i have to study first for the national project management test...so, i will not think about taking anymore courses this year after i finish this paralegal course and just be studying (a LOT!) i may not even pass the first time...but i will be trying the national exam. it requires a LOT of studying of things that don't come naturally to me as they do to people who can memorize a little better than me lol. oh well!
however, there's something else of HIGHER! importance!!! ...it's coming around the corner and I will start it when paralegal is DONE!
hahaha, loved this comment of yours!
EDIT: decided NOT to buy a portable washer for my apt bc i feel having the laundry room downstairs does the job for now...but if i have any problems with doing laundry once going back to work, i'd consider one do get laundry done easier like during the week (but i'd prob still go downstairs to use the dryers)

Weeks 6&7 Reading Assignments: THE FINAL PART!...
How nice it is to have the farm to look forward to, tomorrow. Are you getting rain in your area? It's been raining here for a week. IDK if you do farm work in the rain. I mean, why not, right?
I should try to do some weight work today too. I'll check in with you later, and see if either one of us accomplished this today.
no rain tomorrow and high is 75! perfect farming weather! we got some rain midweek but nothing torrential or as many days like it is by you. it also hasn't generally got as cold as it did by you.
i hope you did the weights...i totally snuck them in during my class...so bad!...but then it was done and i didn't have to think about them....so i could go on a bike ride! :)
There is a LOT more things on the horizon i have left to do this year after i finish this one class...i will be taking a national test for project management...this will be hard.!

- Volunteer at farm in afternoon 1-4pm :-) love this!
That's an interesting idea about the washing machine. I say good idea, if you can do it. I would take Bear's advice and get one that spins, even if it costs more. That may be well worth any additional expense, in the long run.
PS I usually air dry most of my clothes!

Working hard as usual!
thanks, Annie...i've been starting to have an even harder time concentrating on the work, glad it's ending.
time to get a job...
Donkey on 09/17/2020:
You may be able to finish the course by Friday's end, if you're able to crank out that memo. I know that legal writing, for me, could sometimes be quick, if I had a plan, or long if I had a mental block.
At any rate, it is nice to know that you will start next week completely finished.
so nice to know!
i will prob push myself hard to finish the memo tomorrow and early. i did some of the research already and that includes having 2 precedent cases ready and on-hand. I also have a clear write-up that doesn't need too many edits of my 2 legal issues for the memo... i really just need to write it in a most organized, MEMO template, fashion!
thanks for cheering me on.
bearcountrygg on 09/17/2020:
Wrapping it up must be exciting!
It feels great, Bear! now to get a job...
Maria7 on 09/17/2020:
Have fun at the farm...yes, I know it is hard labor work but it is very rewarding, too. Smile.
I'm excited for it! i was thinking i needed to skip this weekend but now i'm making up the weekend on Tuesday :)...so it isn't really a skip! :)
grannyannie on 09/18/2020:
So glad you are nearly done with your course!
it's a wonderful thing! today is the one of the largest assignments, but i did some planning already on it...hoping to get it done and fast! LOL
