750 before lunch but at least very healthy mix of food.

Lunch I am soooo excited for...more Indian really fresh and tasty leftovers from yesterday's lunch order where i ordered extra on purpose...

Ate too much at lunch but boyyyy was it goooood! 700 for lunch at least.

before jog: crackers and sugar free drink and a small plum

1650 after snacks 

dinner was prob around the 600.

2250 total, good.

7 day average: 2074 = PERFECT, happy with it!!! VERY happy that the total is under 2100 per day!


Grrrr forgot my book today to read....so hopefully i'll read it after my jog tonight. Plan to jog is the usual 2mi plus an additional up to half mile.  No more than 2.5 mi of walking/jogging. I like these limits. Helps keep me ON TRACK WITHOUT INJURIES.

I'll pick up some food at lunch instead of reading.  There's a supermarket 2 blocks away.  At least i can do SOMETHING productive.

I hope you have good weather for your job! Weather here has not been good the last two days, it is currently pouring down...again! Hopefully I will be able to get back on it tomorrow.

Last night I had a weird burning pain in the lower left of my stomach down to my groin. It was weird...so today I didn't get up.

I got the pouring rain but it didn't affect me and my sandals got wet but dried very quickly once i got to work!

let yourself rest. believe it or not, rest comes before exercising :)

Healthy lunch:approx 650 tops.(not that healthy) salami microwaved with cooked cabbage and salt and vinegar chips! haha. and an apricot.

snack: smallish orange, approx 50.

dinner not too much more than 650 i'd say! it was a soy teriyaki chicken with tons of veg some in sauce

2050 calories.

no exercise. concert was cancelled in evening bc of rain so just relaxed at home and went to bed early.

5day average: 2115, decent.

It's a REALLY COOL brand because TWO TABLESPOONS is only 110 calories!!!!!!!!!!!!!....i get it in a local store, here's the name of the spread: "G Butter" or "GB" and you can also heat a little up in microwave and it turns into a BROWNIE! never tried, but the package says how and the guy at the store also recommended it try it!

Sunday was a trip to the city for a Broadway Matinee and then some strolling around Central Park. Lots of nice walking on Sunday.

Monday was a trip to a Queens beach and then a FREE amateur comedy show in the evening at a random bar in Brooklyn that we found out about thru local events listed on Facebook and the show ended up being very funny. Not too much walking on Monday. 

Tuesday was a trip out East to the beach, but we first stopped at 3 different points for sightseeing along the way including two fishing docks and a park office / park police station stop! It was really cool. Lots of walking on Tuesday.

The majority of the weekend / activities i do from now until End of October will be mostly prepaid or free.  TRYING to not spend much more besides paying for accomodations for late September in Columbia and then pricey Vegas in October. I just don't need to GO OVER my bank account and require too much credit card stuff to pay back...Also some eye appointment/podiatrist appt i'm going to be paying for extra glasses / sunglasses i'll need for academy as well as foot inserts for shoes maybe 2 pairs....i'll pay on my credit card to be reimbursed thru my health reimbursement fund meaning i'll be paid pack (thru my own funds) but it's still good i'm getting that money back to my banking accounts!

So the spending lately is: one more ticket to a broadway show with friend from france in late august, accomodations in Columbia & stuff while vacationing there, Vegas accomodations, activities & STUFF omg and Vegas shows, etc! Gonna be a huge expense!....and that's it.  Along with optical / podiatrist to be refunding thru a special account i have for medical reimbursement thank gosh.

trying for everything else to be free. no more money for anything else! LOL.

getting to gym...after gym not sure if i'll have a big snack or smaller one and not a huge protein cookie...also need to go to bank real quick for some cash since i have zero dollars to my name in my wallet since SUNDAY evening!

Tuesday total was 1900 :-) VERY PERFECT.

4day average: 2130 :-P


Sunday, Monday & Tuesday were memorable & fun days. I have my friend Ricky to thank, BIG TIME, for taking me ALL AROUND because he def does have a much better sense of direction and just knows the areas very well and is able to drive all around the 5 boroughs with little need for directions and also he knows all the beach on LI that i do not know that are farther out east....He showed me so many new things this weekend. And the Broadway show on Sunday with a trip after to Central Park was also amazing. What a wonderful weekend...and the comendy show on Monday night turned out to be good, not a fluke!, amazing. It was a random area in Brooklyn and we weren't sure if it would be good but it was!

OMG YES.....it was really a nice few days including Sunday....so nice like a serious vacation at home...with plans :) THANK YOU J-Donk! I have a good friend near me who LOVES going out...i love that about him!

Beach day this afternoon...and a few other things beforehand.

Possible broadway show tonight if i win a lottery that is available to partake in!

Going to a very close beach in Queens today that i've not been to during the summer :)

Also helping my friend drop off his car to put work into it first...then we are heading to beach in my car which is on the way :) 

600 before lunch

Lunch escarole 200 in a nice olive oil sauté,

roll 200 with 1 egg 100 and bacon 150-200,

orange slices 100 800 tops


Dinner:there were some chips 250, and the rest of the sauteed tofu 150 really not very much, and some leftover marinated portabella mushrooms as well just gonna say 50-100. total here is 450-500

1900, tops

Going out to a bar with a few local comedians and will have a drink or two :)

2200 TOTAL.

And then heading back later to my friends apt, before coming back to mine to sleep ;)

Taking advantage of 2 extra days off :-)

12:30pm-1pm in city at a nice but inexpensive diner lunch pita bread 200 with one fried egg 100 and bacon 250? And salad with light dressing 150 700. Very tasty!

4pm Snack of gelato small size shared with friend 200 

dinner back at home 650...butter popcorn, seaweed salad, (all leftovers), pan fried tofu, strawberries, 2 apricots.

2200, big success and a really fun day in NYC!  some stevia and selzter.

two day average is niceeeee...2220. Good!

Saw a show called Marvin's Room, very emotional and dramatic. Was good. Very sad and touches everyone in the audience. Good Stuff. but i prefer NOT to see another drama about sickness / cancer in the near future.

Had a nice lunch in city, not expensive at all at a diner at $13 per person = nice. need to remind myself to conserve my money right now!  Really have no extra at the moment.

Then we walked to Central Park and enjoyed the area. We wanted to take the Express bus home but it was off schedule so we walked to the subway and took that instead (tons of nice walking today!)...and then took a taxi from our local subway stop (10min taxi ride)...and each of us went back to our own apartments to relax and have dinner...i'd rather relax than continuing to hang out - it's really too much after a full day! I'm sleepy but will stay up to play with my hamster for a bit and read.


Must call my housing tomorrow as they charged me a late fee of $25 which makes NO SENSE at my payments are AUTOMATIC!. checking this now on my bank statement to be positive that last month i paid ON TIME.  I'll call them tomorrow to fight the false charge.

Tomorrow will be a sick day - going to the BEACH!

We also might once again see a broadway show if we can get it for free....i'll let you know if it happens!

10:30am snack light popcorn light salt and butter tastes GOOD 160, made it a meal - added leftover sushi bites, veggies, salami. 200-250more.

Sautéed broccoli and tomato with olives two different dishes 200?

Snack before jog of nice coffee from Starbucks and an old wafer bar was tasty ! 200 1350 After jog fruit 100

Rest of the broccoli 100, lightly pan fried tofu 300?, then a bean dish like 150? 550 and rice chips 160 so 700

2150 .... fine !.....and some kombucha ....

2250 total today - pretty good

And I jogged / walked 2.5 miles :-) excellent

Tonight I clean my hammy's cage and still NO SLEEPING PILL - maybe I will one night the first half this week if I want to but not tonight.


All laundry was done before 10:30am...now reading my book. Today i'm getting the last of the massages i scheduled for awhile :) well...maybe one more next week, actually! LOL...i still have a few prepaids available, might as well use them :)

After the massage, I'll come back here and jog. Massage is an hour away so i'll leave 12:30 for the 1:30 massage.

Jogging for my two miles, but might cut it to only 1.5 miles walk/jog today...i'm doing it today as an extra day this week - next week i'm only going 1x jogging.

Lots of good plans coming up for Sunday, Monday & Tuesday. I'll be off those two days and going to the beach !  Wedneday, there's a concert by me that i do NOT want to miss. I may actually take Wednesday off also.  but i realize i shouldn't....because it's too many days off at once and i do not have a lot of days to spare all in one shot is a complete waste.

I'll write you more back soon - and thanks for all your comments - don't put yourself down you are doing always better than you think ! I am speaking directly to you and about you when I say that bc I feel you are too hard on yourself. Make little goals so you do not get bored and if you have a hard time maintaining a routine it might be too much too maintain and therefore you should change it - I can't wait to go back to my weights more ! Once this jogging sh*t is more secure !

I slept many hours (around 10  or a little bit over 10 hours) from around 7:30pm to 5:30m - my  body feels a bit better, legs are not sore anymore.  It feels good to be able to rest a bit more during the week, before the weekend - so that i can exercise tonight on Friday and not feel like i've been run over by a tractor trailer !!!!

Plan is for 2 beach days next week (using sick days)...on Monday & Tuesday assuming weather is warm & Sunny.  

Because that IS the weather as of now! Might as well take a "STAYCATION" while it's free nice weather in my area!  Time to splurge and take the days.

I have 5 sicks days and was planning not to use any - but - i cannot wait to just use them in December, here, before the academy. So, I'm enjoying the time now. I can try to increase my savings / stop contributing to 401k - closer to when i leave this job so that i have my cash before academy, maybe. haven't decided what i'm doing for my time off before academy when i don't want to be working...

I was planning to spend little of my 5 sick and 10 vacation days, but, i was tempted to take a few beach days this summer (when it's a regular weekend it's hard to fit in....) and also tempted to do a couple short trips this fall - hey, part of life is living in.  

I do not know of any vacations once i'll be in academy - meaning - i don't know who i'll be making friends with there, i will not be working with my current close friend Jen anymore...i don't know how or where live will take me come 2017.  

So with my current good friends near and far i'm enjoying some vaca and living life time now. Late September i'm going to Columbia with a friend who lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL and in Mid-October i'm going to Vegas with my current good friend and co-worker, Jen.  both trips are well UNDER a week, more like 4 days long each. And they are what make life worth living!  If not for these couple vacations, i wouldn't have gone anywhere since last October...and that's NOT ok with me. I want to live life, I'll be 35 by those vacations...and it's important to me to do things if i can!

Then, i'll be in academy from Jan '18 thru June '18.  After that will be the important probationary period and first time as a cop starting like June '18. I'll need to be working hard and tough! It will be hard work. I cannot think of vacationing till after the first year fully has passed - January '19. That's why I am vacationing now....living :)

Lunch (healthy of course) 500 tops. 100 cal crackers, 100 cal chicken sausage, 300 cal tops for veggies sauteed.

After Gym:


Must play with Hammy GB tonight a little bit...and then bed early without a pill (better to refrain since i did it last night)....not good to take it multiple days in a row...as even coworker advised me not to...i explained the are OTC and not rx types...he thought i was taking an rx i said no, it's just something to help me get rest when i do not sleep that well the rest of the week do to a busy schedule & simply not enough time to sleep each night as much as i'd like.

Well done! And I agree that you should try to take advantage of time off now, because once you are in the Academy, you probably won't be able to get time off for a while... Lately though, I've had family members who have started new jobs and get time off after a month or two -- I must be in the wrong business because I have ALWAYS had to work 6 months (or more) before getting vacation time.

I haven't contributed as much this month -- I'm afraid I've turned into a basketcase this month. I'll comment more on my diary, but just haven't seemed to get it together. That and the lack of feedback is kind of discouraging.

I was supposed to go to a concert with my friend tonight but turns out i am once again too tired during the week. I asked him to go last night...and then cancelled on him today....ugh....just tired...my ankle is strained and i need sleep.

i'm taking a sleeping pill relatively even before i get home - and sleeping VERY EARLY. not going to play with hamster tonight - too tired and need sleep before gym tomorrow as well as a full day of work from 8am-5pm unlike my F-ing boss who works like half the fridays of summer and leaves early on the other half. it's soooo damnnnnn annoying.....like he's the only busy one with a life huh!?  he's so stupid bc i doubt he realizes that the rest of us also have lives we want to live. A$$HOLE.

I am really feeling run down and pissed off. Will be taking 2 sick days during the summer to go to the beach bc i am starting to just not enjoying this working every single day of summer type of schedule!  Everyone's taking days and it's annoying.  

I have one boss who never works a full week and is able to come late and leave early as he pleases to have a life outside work during the week / weekends while people such as myself are struggling just to fit the dang gym in....he goes to the gym, leaving early while i'm STILL at work.

It's BS and I realize being boss means exactly that...and i am not boss....but i'm not fully ok with my work / life schedule and i will have to take a couple dang days off...bc i am starting to feel royally angry with the situation.

Loving my boy Hamster, his name is GB (Gym Boy) and is a goooooood baby.  Never attempts a bite.  He's such a darling fellow. A tan color and sweet baby boy!  His hairy coat has gotten very long and he's almost to his full size. He's approx 12 weeks or 3 months. By 4 months they are full size. So he's almost there.


Been a BORING day at work but i guess BORING is better than stressful....just looking to get better at running & have a good run / walk tonight...perfect weather for it - 75 degrees and sunny.

Taking MONDAY OFF from work as a SICK DAY...to go to the beach with my older friend RICKY that i hang out with very often these days. We're going to a quieter beach where he can play guitar and i can tan and read.
