2133 5day average, fine. lately i have a HUGE appetite.


6am: Home: 70

8am: Breakfast: wrap 100, cream cheese 100, lox 100, coffee 50, banana bigger 130

10:30am: snack: small egg AND COOKIE lol 100. eating more sugar lately but also sleeping more...but also doing good with activity....sounds reasonable and good!

Noon: Bigger, very satisfying lunch with caffeine afterwards: cabbage 100, carrots in some hot oil 150, lots of soy meats hope to throw the rest out tonight i think i'm eating too much of it? 250 at least, chips 150:  650 approx. decent.

1400 after a healthy, larger lunch. i am once again craving extra veggies! A coworker gave me some more today! i'll eat them for dinner since he gave me them after lunch (his wife is an EXCELLENT cook!)

Snack:another cookie, 120....lately i want to eat more but i think the increase in exercise has caused it - starting my jogging that is!

1520 before Dinner: wrap and egg 160, lots of veggies some in sauce 300, strawberries 50 500...and small ice cream or something. 200

2220, total, plus the 350 cal at 2am.


tonight my plan is to relax after work, maybe make more turkey burgers and throw out the rest of my soy meat as i don't like to eat tons of soy anyways!

Pick up cleaners shirts after work at cleaners - forgot all last week.  and pick up library book today also.


cleaning lady never came yesterday - i got an email from the coordinator that she got jammed up with something?...that's fine....doesn't phase me as i didn't "need" a cleaning, just wanted it.  my apt is already quite clean. just a hair dusty. and floors could use a washing in kitchen / bath. but overall it's not like i have things all over the place :-P

so i emailed the coordinator back -  that i don't want to make up a day for this month - that i just wanna shedule early next month instead (i'm busy enough - i don't gotta make up fo the cleaning lady's error too...she can come next month after the construction is done in my apt - mandatory window replacements in building so next week i have to come to work late on thursday when maintenance removes my blinds...then i have to take a day off on the 30th when windows are repaced with new....lots of time off work bc of this...but of course now i'll have new windows....but it's annoying i had to be off work (it's mandatory i'm in apt during all phases of the project)

So instead of having to reschedule cleaning lady with all of this - she can come when everything is done...when all maitenance and window stuff is DONE.

Happy Tuesday! Things are good so far. Supposedly cleaning lady is in my apt right now cleaning....i am sure she'll do a nice job, as usual.

Home: kombucha 70 (lately i'm drinking the $$$ stuff instead of ACV, i don't really care right now about extra expense as i like that it's strong and works nicely in AM).

Late 9am Breakfast at work: wrap 100, cream cheese 100, lox 100. banana 100. 400 total.

470...want a cookie...but declining the craving. LOL. better to eat less calories today. had a fiber 1 soft baked choc chip cookie - these are crazy addictingly GREAT tasting!!!!!!!!!!! i will keep eating them till i'm sick of them in a couple monhs, hopefully!  they are SO MUCH SWEETER tasting than my quaker granola bars!!!!! i think they might contain stevia or another very sweet additive. i love them, for now.  And a few candies, not counting. sugar free type.

600 cal. before lunch.

maybe 12:30pm or 1pm - Healthy Lunch (as always): didn't bring near enough veggies. ugh. soy meats 300?, rice 150?, little veg not enough 100? and chips 150: 700 tops, prob less.

Snack at 4:30pm - before my expensive & new gym w/ SF drink: Botson small cream pie from my friend at work :-) my friend JJ who i love and go out with!!!

After gym: bar 260, chips 80, strawberries 100: 450

total today is excellent: 1900 :-D

Home: kombucha 70. should be time of month soon lol....gotta behave at work all bosses back today....i am always good, but must remember to keep emotions under wrap. to "be a man" type of attitude.

Breakfast: wrap 100, pb: 150, honey 50: 300. coffee 50. 350.

snack: bad period pains...had a banana for the potassium 120 and later an egg 80

1pm healthy lunch: roasted brussels 100, carrots in some oil 150, turkey burger homemade by me 150, orange 80, chips 100: 600, good

snack @ 3pm - small chocolate type bar 120

Dentist after work around 5:10 or hopefully i walk in there @ 5pm - i walked in at 4:58 = amazing!

Then dinner: turkey burger 150, small bit of seaweed salad 50?, chips 100, strawberries 50, ice cream 200: 550-600.

total today 2000, excellent.

3 day avg = 2066, good!

no exercise. i need to leave earlier for work tomorrow because i was practically late today.


Today after work: dentist appt - i must leave work on time at 4:30pm

No other activities scheduled. I have tons of food at home.  Laundry def done. No gym or walking. Perfect.

I will have to clean up, not much, for cleaning lady who comes approx 1x per month (sometimes even less than that). She's coming Tuesday morning. Really there's not much for her to clean in terms of organizing...just dusting, cleaning of floors, bathroom is really what i need....i'm not too messy a person. I tend to sometimes clean / vaccuum between cleanings when i feel the need. Really i could have held off, but it's been awhile with this cleaning service & i love this apt and feel the need to keep it organized and clean as I will live here for life.  I don't ever plan on moving out. It's too good - as long as maintenance always is this good - housing maintenance i mean!  Building and grounds are kept up so well - better than most places in Queens.

Have you ever checked out the 5.11 stores? I went to one today. Some of the clothes were cute and super well made and the staff was super helpful. They're targeted at crossfit and off-duty military and police. The guys helped me repack my bag and find the mising gear items I needed

i'm doing better with being quiet at work as boss wanted. and i leave at 4:30 on the dot because who in their right mind would stay overtime at a job with a boss that's nasty and i have to worry about even saying hi to someone!

Natural higher fat bar 230 680 approx, all healthy.

12:30 lunch: small wrap & small turkey buger 

Drink 150 and chocolate 100 250 Big salad with some olive oil and avocado 200? Half bagel 200, smoked fish 50, cream cheese 100 350

1700 after 3pm meal with family

light dinner: have cramps, dont feel great.  banana 120, wrap 80, pb150: 350

total: 2050

2day: 2100.

 rest day, no exercise.


Did a small load of laundry so everything is clean to start the week. Reading now.

Out to NYC for Mother's Day later. Rest day - no exercise beyond a little Walking in city and same deal of it being a rest day tomorrow also.

I have a nice muscle relaxer cream lotion it's just herbal on my legs and that feels wonderful. I also have my diffuser going.

I even cooked turkey burgers made with ginger, garlic and cilantro seasonings. And hard boiled eggs - ready for the workweek now ! All prep done before noon. Parents picking me up around 1:30pm today. One of my best prepping weekends and also got to relax. I can do this! Becoming. A jogger again. I am getting into the nypd in January :-) I am very proud of myslef.

9am breakfast: high protein ice cream 400.  protein / milk

11am lunch 480 - some chips, some butter popcorn, smoked trout on a wrap.

12:30pm cookie by fiber one so goood - soft baked choc. chip! 120

close to 2pm snack: grapefruit 100, chips 150, cucumber salad 50

1550 staying on track bc i have tons of healthy options here, thankfully, due to my efforts to stay on track - but allowing more carb and snacks while i sit home most of today and relax. gym tonight though....unless i decide last minute to go tomorrow morning - but that'll be extra stress before mother's day...for sure. it's difficult adding in the extra jog with my gym schedule - but in efforts to counteract having less time to rest, i'm also doing less socializing until i can run better / have more energy to both socialize and jog.  right now, my schedule feels busy and i am have chosen my goals of jogging and fitness as more important over socializing and going out for this month & most of next.

4:30pm - cookie before gym

after gym: protein cookie 350...and maybe some other carbs too because i don't want to go to sleep now at 9pm, i want to read.

It's 9:00am and already most things that needed to be accomplished this weekend are done:

1. jogging - did it yesterday after work!

2. Laundry - already done & put away

3. Weights routine - for tonight

4. Since i'm done with everything so early, i'll probably go to a library to attend another free concert!  This time it's an african percussion group! (drummers)

I'm so happy about all of my planning. It's worked out! I'll also go shopping later to pick up some meat.  I want to prep (tomorrow AM) some herbed turkey burgers for the week. I'll also prob pick up a few veggies/fruits.  I have to be ultra prepared bc tomorrow afternoon i'll be in city with family for Mother's Day...and also i have dentist Monday. Cleaners coming Tuesday while i'm at work...then the following weekend i have plans to visit grandma for dad, then a dermatologist appt Monday after work....just a busy month so i have to be extra careful with my planning. And it's WORKING!

Right now - 9:15am i'm going to settle into reading a nice book - another on habits by the infamous author Charles Duhigg

edit: i did a jog, just a bit shorter - 1.5mi and also i drove her home! super successful friday....it helps to sleep well, as i have been!

there's a good chance i'm going home to rest after work - quite tired after the whole work i did at work...and promised someone here to drive them home as i have to be on my best behavior so i didn't say NO to someone at work that likes me...she lives in my neighborhood a few blocks away....

planning to drop her off...get some hot food...relax at home, read, bed early. no more exercise today other than the work i did at work...ankle needs rest....i worked hard for like 2 hours cleaning.


Home: kombucha 50

Breakfast 1 at work: banana and coffee 170

Breakfast 2 at work: smoked trout 120, cream cheese 100, wrap 100: 330. and granola bar bc work is requiring heavy lifting today from me, for real, cleaning office as told by my boss.

total so far: 650 and coworker's cookie that tasted yuck!  700.

12pm healthy lunch: 2eggs and egg whites also 180 veg 200 with oil, matzah 120: 500.

1250 after healthier eating at lunch. 

1350 after extra bar at 4pm was hungry.

dinner: fried veggie rice 300?, some soy meat not much 100?, and some other veg 150 tops - 550, also ice cream and fruit 150.700, good.

total this week will be excellent: 

buying fresh veg for dinner probably. and maybe jog.


 Today I did some heavy lifting for like 2hrs mostly by myself.  And now, IP, I’m sooooo glad to sit at the computer for the remaining 2 hours and bullsh*t these 2hours away. THANKFUL for resting time for a couple hours now before I go.  Maybe the rest will help me regain some energy to jog after work – I hope so – because if I do it today I will not have to do it again until next week….i have a new routine for getting into jogging with walk/jogs 1x per week until next month when I’ll delve into a schedule of 2x per week jog/walks.  I’m trying to keep my weightlifting schedule the same…and just add in the jog/walk training. So far it’s good. Sorry if I am rambling, but it feels good to be able to schedule in this new activity. SO GLAD to be sitting now at work because I did GREAT work this morning lifting so many things.  So glad it’s done !!!  I hope my legs / ankle feels good later, because assuming I recover from earlier at work, today would be the day to drive to park and jog! Rain all weekend!


I feel like my every move is being watched by this girl that I thought was OK.  But I’ve learned if the person is in a click, BEWARE. Stay AWAY. It’s true – most people at work are NOT your friends. NOT in the least. And some people are evil enough to WANT to actually make our lives more difficult. HOW SICK! WHY!? If you can realize this reason tell me.  Because the reason I come up with is this – many people are just followers. 


They do what they have to in order to stay in their click.  If one girl hates others, they keep their resolution to their click and they all turn on the girl outside the click.  So in fact, that’s what happened with me. This click includes ladies now, just under 30 two of them but others are in 40’s…that all grew up in the same town, same high school.


All of these women (but the young ones and 40’s!).  They’ve known of each other their whole lives and do what they need to in order to remain in their happy little IGNORANT click. It makes me very sick. So one mean woman wants me fired…they all play into it.  SICKENING.  And they walk around – like they are doing nothing wrong?  They don’t see the world outside their click. It’s in the click or you are nothing to them. How sick. How sad.  I do not get these types of sick people. It saddens me very much.




Last night after gym - egg/egg whites i cooked up last night yay as a way to plan and eat well today!...i have no meat right now at home as i don't really like to make it for the weekend bc it spoils by midweek...i prefer to cook meat to eat all week... 


So happy for weekend.  I will do weights Saturday and Jog hopefully Sunday if weather permits - or today after work if my legs feel up to it. If nothing works, I'll jog MONDAY in evening after dentist appointment.

I am learning there is a way to schedule the jogging AROUND my weights routine, YES. No change in weights routine, only schedule the jog AROUND my already excellent schedule!

Laundry to be done maybe even tonight a lot of it?  - if i do not jog.

Someone once told me "If something negative happens, think of it as an opportunity to excel". Maybe your boss-ordered office clean up will burn a whole bunch of calories, just like a gym work-out at work!

oh boy....it def did!!!!!!!! :-) burned tons extra today, yes :-D

and...i was super happy to be able to be strong and do it :-P....if i didn't lift weights, it wouldn't have been possible for me to do what i did today....i'm super happy that my hard work pays off always in the gym & out!

i'm telling you - without lifting weights, i'd never have lasted for TWO HOURS.

Thank you for your comment to my yesterday's entry. I very much appreciate the advice and it makes good sense. Yes, at first, both Hubby and myself were very hungry late at nite but now I think we mostly ignore that 'hunger signal', ha! Thanks for reminding me about the no-caffeine in the evenings rule in order to sleep better. As for people, HOP, ALWAYS be on guard...ALWAYS. Some people 'clicks' are like silent 'gangs' with cruel or at the very least, non-empathetic intentions toward others who are not part of their clicks. And just because someone acts friendly to your face does not mean they are your friend as I am sure you know. But still, at the same time, we are to do unto others as we would have them to do unto us, which sometimes means showing others undeserved compassion who have mistreated us. Some work places are war zones. I know and I remember...altho, I am happily retired now. Have a good evening. :-)

Healthy Lunch: 1 egg 80, 1.5 pieces matzah cracker 170, big veg salad with some dressing 200?, leftover brussel sprouts small amount 100 tops in oil, 550 tops.

1250 after lunch.

before gym: cookie and drink 100 no caffeine just a flavored no cal drink. - my new thing in order to sleep better at night, i must fix this habit before academy.

1350 before gym...but getting hungry :/ at 3pm but won't give into stupid extra cookie habit.

after gym chose to indulge 550. protein cookie...plus ice cream.

1900, excellent.

I am working in a backstabbing company. blows.  some people would rather be witches. i'll never, ever understand the point of bullying, hate, and awful people like the ones that tried to get me out of this company. it hurts me to see the evil some people possess. sorry, but i'll speak my mind here.

Thanks J-Donk....lately i have gone back slightly to having more caffeine, but limiting it in afternoon and i've been sleeping better than ever! Even on gym days, i'm dialing back my caffeine and instead of a caffeine drink, i drink a flavored drink that doesn't have any. so, i still have my snack of a granola bar / fiber one bar and a drink, but the drink doesn't have caffeine. the reward is a full night's sleep even on gym days :-)

eating, i will not let the habits come back to full out bingeing like i used to a long time ago - i like my smaller body that tends to fit nicely into clothes....

i am sad to have to dial back my weights routines on weekend - bc i need to jog....i have decided it's better to dial back my socialization even more, before only going to gym 2 days instead of 3. ...

it's becoming hard to fit in the jogging alongside weights routines. a bit much. but i can socialize less right now...the important thing for me is jogging.

sorry i've just had to start thinking about scheduling these new habits.

i'm reading more on success and stuff and habits and the book suggested it's not the goal that your getting to that's important but of course the PROCESS and that we must schedule.

so for scheduling the jogging, i took looked at my big desk calendar and scheduled 1day only per week of jogging this month. June will have 2days per week. and July will have 2-3 days per week of jogging and always the length of my walk/jog will stay at 2miles. August also will be 2-3 days a week.

Then, sept-december i'll change mileage only slightly up to only 3miles. No more. I have no desire to ever run more than 3miles. and only up to 3x week.

this is how i scheduled my goals.

this is what the article showed me. if i didn't read the article, i wouldn't have come up with that plan above and schedule for jogging. i have faith in myself.

article also said, along now with a new book, to have confidence in your decisions that you make.

I have a very tight schedule and very stressful week to be extra careful of my actions. trust me. not simple as it seems. 

6am Home: kombucha and banana 160

8am Work: coffee 50, wrap 100, pb 200, honey 50 400.

2pm lunch: Turkey burger 100, Brussels roasted 200, potato 250 1300 Cookie 120 1420 before gym

5pm snack on way to NEW & only gym closest to me (10 min or less)

like i said previously, my workplace is not a healthy atmosphere. people are concerned for their jobs and everyone is making an effort to keep their jobs. lots of layoffs. lots of issues. too many people in upper management. too many workers also.

life has turned to everything being more precise. learning and keeping things efficient in my days and effective. ... life turning to more regimented routines of showing up at work even earlier, before 8am, to know what is going on & stay on the tips of my toes.

thank you Maria - yeah...these next 6 months are going to be about creating and perfecting a routine that gets me into running fully :-)

I will have to do less weights to fit in running...i'm currently working out what i need to do.

and for work, i'm also figuring out how to be less stressed there. and have less issues at work by being early, etc., so i see what's going on around me more often.

1150 after healthy lunch, had some caffeine too.

1250 after snack bar...

healthy dinner: little bit of leftover chipotle pulled pork: 150?, mushrooms 50, roasted brussel sprouts bc of oil - 200?, roasted potatoes  big serving 300-350?, 750 and small plum 50. 800.

The thing i've been doing well is sleeping, i have been getting mentally extremely exhausted bc of the work stress and stuff. It's caused me to sleep around 10 hours per night at least, without any sleeping pills. my body is seriously exhausted over thinking about this work stress.

High stress week. have to behave like an angel, but even better. prob shouldn't even log in here, but i am.

WORKED HOUR OVERTIME - NO EXTRA PAY. its ok - glad to have a job as my company is in total turmoil.

the environment at my work is not healthy. people are scared / anxious to even speak to one another. I cannot hardly get outta my seat without worry. it's sad.  it's like we're back in the triangle shirt factory historical times when workers have no rights except to shut up and work.

it's horrible. even the bosses walk around angry...i'm thinking of one in particular - he never smiles, lol. and his face is always red and flushed, lol. 


Progress as of today: 2 lbs lost so far, only 3 lbs to go!
