TWO WORDS: Happy Friday!!!! :)

....calories before lunch: 600 good ones :)

calories after lunch: 1100, excellent.

snack: apple 100 or so.

big dinner: pickled (with oil) mushroom/veggie mix 150 or so?, TONS of very oily roasted brussel sprouts like 350 at most???, salad mix 30, tofu 100. 650 or so.

snack later on: 2% yogurt with one packet stevia & 3 tablespoons low sugar jelly. around 230 (we'll say 200)

total: approx. 2050. PERFECT.

exercise: 20 at lunch, 30 in evening. my legs hurt a lil from yesterday.

2:30am snack: fruit and almond butter: 250 total.

around 2250 total. decent. lately I have a bigger appetite & I am also not sleeping well.  I know why, not enough time to relax at home, always running from one thing to the next during the week, no "cool-down" period, my body then wants to do it whenever it can - like in the middle of the night...i'll probably go & read.

Progress as of today: -2 lbs lost so far, only 9 lbs to go!

then overtime work to finish a project.

breakfast: half small banana 50, high fiber cream of wheat 150, egg 80, one packet truvia, some flaxseed oil spray 30: 310

1500 before dinner.

dinner: roasted brussel sprouts (a bit much oil) maybe around 200, tofu around 250, other veggies 100? total = 550, good.

so far, 2050.  need to go for a walk, then maybe bed earlier.

skipping the gym because I need to be awake & alert tomorrow because I will be around a lot of people, many I don't already know. so I can't go to the gym late tonight.

hopefully I don't work very late tomorrow night....so I can make it to the gym. If I have to wait till Friday, that would suck a little bit.

So far, very healthy & staying on track really well.

1350 with lunch & afternoon snack at work...apple on way home, short walk, dinner, reading & early to bed :-D  Gonna be a good day.

 i wanted lower, but still good. around 2250.

exercise: hour in evening, half hour at lunch. walking...good!!!

Off today to get things done, do some errands.

so far: 500, good.

gym: two large protein shakes 450 total

lunch: 300, 100, 150, 100, 100 = 750 ok..

1700, a little much, but healthy. if calories get to 2400, that's ok.

2400, some walking, excellent weights routine. good day off!

8am small snack: half banana & airborne hot: around 100

10am breakfast event: there will be bagels & lox & cream cheese...1000 (extra big portions of everything, and a small dessert)

12:30pm: yogurt with low sugar orange marmalade jelly & pumpkin butter 160, strawberries 40

snack: apple 100

snack: huge amount of sautéed broccoli, big pieces of garlic, red peppers: 300

1700, good! :-)

May skip out on work tomorrow & go to the gym in the AM, also physical therapy, get my printer fixed, and put money on my laundry card...that's enough for one day...yeah, probably.

2200 total, at least an hour walk.

early breakfast: 100, banana.

My best friend came to a dinner bday party @ 8pm with me & complained the entire time - about going to the city on a Friday night, about how late it was, about the cold, about the food, about the people, about EVERYTHING.  She bothered the you-know-what out of me.  I dealt with it.  Then, she asked why I was giving her an attitude, except I really wasn't!  We were changing the plan because another guy friend joined us walking to the subway to go home & we were gonna take a different one - different train/different location. 

I didn't look it up & wanted to look my route up (since it was now gonna be different) on a phone & I just asked her if she was familiar with her phone (she just got it in the past month) & I didn't want her to spend time looking if it was gonna be difficult/time consuming to do.  She thought I was still giving her an attitude when I repeated myself, she told me flat out "Shut up Jackie!" in front of the guy friend we were with.  That was the icing on the cake.  I left them to go home myself (I usually would never leave her, but she pissed me off SO MUCH & she was with him, going to the same place so she wasn't alone)

I cannot hang out with her as much as I used to.  I cannot tolerate the same plans, all the time, no change, nothing new.  Same restaurants, some plans, always.  she's not open to going out with new folks, doing new things.  I've learned my lesson, never hang out with her & these folks together. So, in the future, if I am getting together with them, I will go myself, I can't invite her if she's obviously (always happens) complains about it.  It ruins her night & mine.  Oh well.

prob around 2000-2100 cals. lots of walking. perfect.

8 am breakfast: cottage cheese & pumpkin spread around 150, butternut squash soufflé (store bought a healthy variety with calorie counts) 200 or so, "palak" pakastani store-bought prepared spinach not sure of calories, guessing around AT LEAST 200: total 550, perfect.

plan is to go to the gym as soon as I have a bit more energy, maybe go back to sleep first...will decide soon. Got 7 hours sleep, not great (because the night before I got maybe 4)...hopefully an nap before the city tonight??  Legs are feeling weak.

@ gym: protein shake around 250, then after frozen yogurt just a little bit. 200 at most.  450 here...

3:30pm healthy large late lunch: tremendous amount of veggies 150, that spread from breakfast on pita with little bit of chicken 250?

out for a late dinner tonight in NYC, maybe a piece of fruit before then.

around 2200-2400 total. good. all healthy, in moderation at a sushi place. tried for more veggies.

(2260 5 day average including Sunday - a bit high for my current activity level, hoping the days I do weights I burn calories above this average...maybe not...but I think I do when lift weights bc I do it for a pretty long time & try to keep intensity high.)  anyways, 2260...so at least that stupid binge day is cancelled out. what a stupid choice, to binge 3500 and have to balance that shhhhiiiitt out. NOT AGAIN...need to try harder. I may have to dress up for work Holiday party.  No drastic diets, obviously, because my leg needs to heal...and I hate dieting, but I MUST watch calories more...try harder...

up at 3am with pretty bad menstrual back ache and thigh pain so I ended up taking 2 pills, then a third one about 15 minutes later, Tylenol.  When I was at the store, I saw a honey lemon hot drink version of those airbone packages they sell.  I had two of them (in a big mug, so like 4 cups total) of the airborne because it was warm and soothing with the Tylenol.  Plus, I am doing EVERYTHING in my power not to get sick. With longer hours at work & not enough sleep, I must do everything I can.  :-)

I made it through, easily, on no sleep. 14 hours at the office. 30minute walk outside at lunch bc I had to. thank god I did. worked 8am till 10pm. scary. I hope never again close to this in my last few months on this job. I plan to quit in June, assuming I will have the police academy in July. Scary to think about, my legs aren't strong yet, but better each day.  All this sitting can seriously hurt me, I am looking to make this all much better.  I will not work like this again. I did it out of pride, since I won't be there tomorrow, I didn't want someone else to finish my assignment. makes sense. the assignment got a little muddy/messy and it would be stressful for whoever would have to do it. so I finished it....late. since I don't have to wake up early tomorrow, I will try my best to sleep in, to get a decent amount of sleep.

I took off purposely, so that I can go to a bday party in the city & not be rushed & skip exercise again. This week, I skimped on sleep to exercise every day except Monday. I'd say that's a crappy week sleepwise. NOTHING I can do about it.  I hate not having control, especially when I have no family/kids. This job is pathetic sometimes...that I am actually still working there.

anyways, around 1900 cal probably.  trying to laugh about the stress, but it's not easy.

RYC girl it seems the cramping gets worse as I get older(hope that's not the case for you) Aleve by far is the absolute best thing to take for cramping as well as PMS..My sister turned me on to it and I mentioned it on DD and quite a few chimed in as far as it helping..

As far as the magazines,my favorite are Muscle and Fitness(His and Hers) also Oxygen.. Not only are they a source of motivation for me, they are chocked full of healthy recipes that are easy to make..When I select my mags, I gravitate to the ones who has fit/muscular people on the cover as opposed to the ones that have celebrities that boast about how they lost an incredible amount of weight by following fad diets..That's just not me nor what I aspire to be, LOL

Hope that you are feeling better, I am leaving you with a video of FitWall..Kinda hard to explain it, TRX training combined with the wall,,It's only 30-40 minutes but man is it effective..Alot of the wall stuff is utilized in fire fighter training..
