lunch is from home, not even needing the mircrowave, i packed it last minute this morning: mix of bagged salad and cooked cabbage with some dressing 100 tops, wrap 100, butter 100, 2 hard boiled eggs 150. 450

3:30pm rice krispie treat 100, later a large orange 100, more almonds 50

6:45 jello, gummy vitamins, dried jackfruit 100, gummies 100

neighbor is making corned beef and cabbage for st paddys day and i feel it's safe to take the food from her! i actually love corned beef and cabbage so i'm excited to try it when she offers it later tonight :)

small piece roast beef 100, two small potatoes 50, cabbage with butter and salt 100. 250..ice cream 250

walked a little at lunch and a little after work, doing leg workout too.  therapy was cancelled (yay lol) - she did call to check on me :).

I'm at work today. we are not sure if our office will still make the move to the other office on Friday...waiting to hear if i should pack my stuff yet...i did start to pack just my stuff. my project manager has a lot more to pack, i may help her if she wants me to when she comes tomorrow thru friday to work...

someone on the job i work on, but who works in the field and not my office, was sick with the virus and everyone has been told to go home until Friday. they are going to clean the area and take others off the job that were in contact with him. the virus is definitely in the community spread portion now.

i don't know who the person is person, but i know of him thru the office and i'm on the same project as him but like i said he's in the field doing the work and i'm in the administrative office.

Well....it will be better to be out of Manhattan....but making the actual move may just be too much at the moment. Rest assured...that the decision will be made and be glad that you don't have to make it......and whatever choice they make....it will be carried out on their terms....hopefully you will only have to remove your own personal property....and they will do the rest.

yes, it would be better with a shorter commute although the parking is poor there so i would still be taking a bus and train...although, yes, i'm glad i am not needing to make huge decisions right now...

oh! everyone in the FIELD is going home till friday...but i am in the Field OFFICE...so i am not sure if this includes me yet...things may change and i may have to be off also tomorrow...not sure yet. for now, we are planning to go to work, but this may change soon.

Whoa that's hitting really close, at work.

Did you enjoy the corned beef and cabbage? Sometimes the beef can be tough if not cooked properly.

the beef was a little tough but the taste was 100% on. i put some butter on the cabbage and salt. tasted great. her potatoes were also 100% on.

i do hear people coughing time to time and they should prob be home...like a bad cough. mostly everyone appears healthy here.

 Had a vaca day preplanned so didn't cancel it so I have the day off. Will comment later on everyone's page. Wanted to take some alone time as of late. Will be home today most of the day and later will cook turkey meatballs again- just need to use up the other meats I have at home first..have a lot of extra leftovers now and sadly some will go to waste..

9:30am gummies and kombucha 250..

11:30 early lunch leftover salmon with skin 350, on a wrap 150. 500, iced coffee with Stevia and almond milk 50.

almost 2pm large orange and gummies (slightly addicted right now!) 300

almost 2pm.

Walked an hour outside while i got my laundry card refilled and picked up a month supply of anxiety medicine. then stayed out for an hour since i am home and mostly on the couch these days which is not the healthiest.

Also cleaned up the piggy cage and am doing a light load of laundry as well as the piggy fleece (i never wash anything with the piggy pee/poop fleece!)

i am also doing an upper body workout early this afternoon.

i will prob be at work today unless the subway (trains) get shut down.  if they do, i'll stay home from work tomorrow but i do not think the subway system is going to be shut down. 

also, my office is supposed to move to its new location on Friday meaning i have to pack up my stuff in the office...we shall see if we still do this planned move this Friday!

You know, I said I was a little jealous that you had today off, but now, I'm really glad that you did have this day - this whole day - to step back and just get stuff done and such. Because you live in a big city, the stress is THERE, even though you may think or know that you are not at a big risk. That is to say, all of this news is very gloomy, and NYC is at the center of a lot of it.

I do not think that they will close the subway, either, but who knows? And then moving offices? Just a lot of stress!

I hope you had a nice walk away least. It's been kind of chilly here again and it snowed again this morning. When will this end???

there are still quite a few people still working, along with a lot of people fired from like restaurants (all shut down except delivery/pickup) and hotels (sister's husband laid everyone off and closed his/his uncle's hotel)

yes shutting down transportation would be a HUGE step if it had to be taken. then, i wouldn't be working.

I will be mosting relaxing this weekend. Today the only plan is to do weights, in the early part of the afternoon at home of course.  i slept in and that felt good. just reading over some of my project management textbook now.

snack: almonds if necessary/chocolate 100

dinner: not sure, maybe a microwavable meal (lasagna) with little sweet peppers on side, gummy package too.

ended up picking up food to eat on my way home - chicken with skin 350, lots of veggies 200, and too many gummies 300. 850.

Tonight's plans:

stay off the cardio (still recovering from 3mi walk on Wednesday night), get home quicker, do leg exercises that i started in the morning, go to sleep earlier, read some of the chapter i selected to read this week for class (which may be canceled saturday due to Coronavirus!...still waiting to hear final confirmation to see if Saturday class is cancelled...yes, i got a call and my Saturday class for project managment is cancelled for this week and i am sure the next couple weeks.

oh yes, the union is cancelling all extra activities outside normal working hours. so no classes (and the class i was taking was also associated with the New York State City University system...which is also closed).

I get out of work at 5:30pm. I should get to Forest Hills around 6:15pm. I will then go and get some dinner somewhere (not sure yet). After that, I will walk to the therapy place and read until my appt at 8pm! Then, appt should end around 8:45pm. I will walk partial way home and then take the bus home. - walked the whole thing !

I should get home around 9:30-9:45pm. I will sleep in as i do NOT have work tomorrow.

Tomorrow i have a couple doctor's / eye appts at 12pm-2:30pm all in the same place. then i'll pick up some veggies/seltzer/meat for both this week/all of next week.

tomorrow in the evening i'm going to an author/book talk. 

Then back to work Thursday :)

Because I wasted so much time and slept thru the whole morning I am contemplating skipping the library event to cook at home, exercise and home and read my study guide tonight :/

I actually have started showering at night once a week or so (the rest of the days showering in the morning!), so i can wake up and go! Doesn't always work for me, but, I am enjoying this approach at least right now during winter when i'm not sweating much and want some fast mornings! :)  This night routine leaves my face smoother and less dry in the winter and my hairline less flakey. I will think about this for the rest of the Winter...

With all of the various flu's out there right now...it is probably a very good idea to shower at night instead of in the morning.

I shower at night. I think it helps me get to sleep faster and better. Also, I like washing away the dirt from the day before getting into bed.

it took me less time than ever. Still long as i procrastinated with a meal before doing them, lol, and then i went looking for something during them...took around 2 hours of mostly focusing just on taxes :) glad i'll receive a check in the mail soon, i hope!
