healthy tasty breakfast: 1/2 of a frozen butternut squash soufflé 100, with cooked cranberries (did it in microwave) 50, egg 70, yogurt 30:250 success!

snack: ??? yogurt?

snack: bar 200

lunch: very healthy other half of soufflé with grilled salmon, apple.

1300 with snack after lunch,

lots of cooked veggies: 400??

1700, good.

dinner: roll 100, yogurt with cooked cranberries 200: 300. good!

total: a nice 2000. 1am fruit. 2050 total.

exercise: some walking during day, 20 minutes swimming.

 

Progress as of today: -2 lbs lost so far, only 9 lbs to go!

7am: tasty breakfast: fiber one 120 and special k 180, almond milk 30 (330) AND 2 smallish pb & j sandwiches: 160, 200, 80 (440) = 770.

10am bigger snack: yogurt 100, jelly 100, roll with some spread and little bit of horrible tasting old lox 200.  400.

1150 or so.

1:00pm snack before pool half hour with breaks: 100 calorie-all sugar-slimfast peanut butter bar...it did fuel me...

3-4pm lots of veggies after (pint of cooked kale 100?, quart of steamed (with some oil) carrots, squash, peppers, broccoli (150), followed by some roasted almonds 150 = 400, goooood.

total so far:1650. but really, not satisfied. maybe a yogurt. (this is really my dinner (the 3-4pm) and I plan for weights tonight but we shall see..

thankfully, only 2250, thank god...too bad I used yesterday to binge like crazy. glad at least Monday / Saturday were decent :-D

Happy Sunday :) Especially bc we have off for Veteran's Day tomorrow! yeah!

Yesterday was super successful: laundry in AM, followed by quick waxing, stopped off at the flower shop to complete an order for a coworker recovering from a knee replacement at home, massage, got both a car inspection & oil change, 3 hour walk at park, fast dinner near park, weights at gym (around 7pm) & home around 9pm.  So glad to get it all done.

...this morning just gonna relax & read, before Physical Therapy. :-)  Meeting up with a friend in the afternoon & hoping to get to the pool, even though it's not looking exciting with it being so cold outside lol.....but I need to get back into the pool because it's good cardio & gives me a break from walking!

Breakfast: pear 70, cereal (mix of special K with protein & fiber one) 180, almond milk 30: around 300 here.

snacking: more pear (it was actually huge!!!) 100, peanut butter 100.

11am: big spluge for lunch & then dessert: roasted (with lots of oil) brussel sprouts & eggplant 350?, sardines 160, cabbage slaw 100?, chips 150, and then dessert: yogurt and lots of peanut butter 350: 1100 or so. fine.

1600...

banana 100, bread 160, jelly x 10 = 300 cal, peanut butter x 4 = 400 uggghhh. around 950, yeah.

3500 total calories. glad this day is DONE.

1600 + 950 = 2550 already, 2pm, not a good day.

Filling breakfast: 1/2 banana 50, few strawberries 30, cooked cranberries with a lil stevia 60, almond milk 30, special k with protein cereal 240, peanut butter 100: 510. lots of food for little calories!

snacking: more of the cooked (in microwave) cranberries (i cook them completely until they are in a cranberry jelly-like consistency - especially after putting them in the fridge.  they are VERY tasty, a little tart, when you add some sweetener to them.  If you don't wanna add truvia, you can add honey or another natural sweetener or sugar....or equal... 90 more.

Plans: massage...and probably weights later (wanna swim but trying to keep to my plans of weights tonight & Monday night (annoying on my 3 days off but the best ways to get more of the results that i am looking for)

 around 2000 calories. success. exercise: at first I wasn't gonna walk, but then I got it in: 3 miles! and hardly any pain at all! then, full weights. successful Saturday!

middle of the night: 300 more calories. so more likely around 2300. still ok, I probably did burn all the calories by doing cardio & weights....but not great for weightloss. at least happy to have burned it all.

800 cal thru lunch :)

ended up indulging a little. boy am I exhausted. my legs hurt again, enough to keep me from doing any more walking once I got home from work :( 

anyways, 2500 cal. and over the course of the day, I got in at least an hour of walking (extra in AM, but wrong shoes, some at lunch, & back to my car after work!)

1050 after lunch, calories are great, maybe i skip the gym tonight....but i really should go...or if no gym, pool....but really, i need to go to the gym :) but tired....not sure. calories are too good to be true, i will try to keep them low-ish today...

recap: 

around 1900-1950 cal. PERFECT.

exercise: full weights routine (upper body, abs, pushups, and some legs) PERFECT.

1 egg, 1 egg white 100, on a light bagel 100, with tons of "palak" Pakistani spinach spread this time with a bit too much onion, in my opinion :)..., 100 at most of it, piece of banana 30, some blackberries 30, some airborne stuff 20 around 400. good.

snack: yogurt 150

snack: bar 150

total: 700

lunch: 

I. am. really. trying. even though it may not seem like it...

total around 2000 cal. (healthy, except for an extra protein bar in mid morning...)

exercise: around 1.5 hours overall. walking. good. legs did hurt at end of the day, but not much. damnnnnnnnnn...they need to heal like ASAP already.  I still have time before my physical for the academy....but wow....we are cutting this real close. will I ever heal completely!?

400 calories & one of the most satisfying, filling breakfasts I've had a in a long time, hopefully filling enough to feel better in the morning at work, with more energy than I've had the past couple weeks.

left work earlier, great workout....wow, sooo tired. bed really soon!

around 1900, successful day! very, very good.

550 cal. good.  yogurt with jelly, special k with protein cereal with almond milk. 1/2 banana & some kombucha (bottled fermented Japanese tea - a low calorie drink)

11:30am lunch: 550 (salad with "palak"), "palak" on light bagel with turkey.  kombucha.   cucumber salad.

12:30pm snack: 150 (wheat thins garden vegetable fiber selects)

2:30pm snack: 2% yogurt with stevia & pumpkin butter: 200

1450 :-D

2250 calories.

all healthy today.

hardcore weights routine, hardly any walking - need my legs to feel better. they were hurting terribly yesterday, not as bad today. for tomorrow, I will probably also take an easy night...not ready to go back to the pool just yet.

I've always wanted to try kombucha, although I've heard mixed reviews on the taste. I know it's supposed to have a lot of benefits!
