Hello :-) loving all the exercise i am doing this week!!!!!
I've been eating healthfully on this staycation, but still needing to balance several recent high calorie days (2400-2600 calories per day during recent weeks). I am happy with the exercise I've been doing and I woke up quite sore today! wow! this am, i want to read a lil bit...and i left my credit card with the biller after my appt yesterday :(...need to pick that up this AM!
anyways...
8am BREAKFAST: protein bar 190, fiber one two cups 240 with almond milk 40: 470 or so. good.
10:30 am Brunch: yogurt & pumpkin 160, roasted cauliflower 200, wrap 100: 460, good.
park: around 3.5-4 mi
1:45pm Midday Meal??? wrap 100, leftover fish 150?, soup 150, rest of the cauliflower 100? 500 or so...
snack before bootcamp: banana, iced decaf: 200
snack after bootcamp: granola bar 160
late 9pm dinner after hour weights at gym (yes, in addition to the bootcamp) almond milk with bran, protein bar: 280
total: 2100 or so. good.

7:15-8:45 or so...5 mi mostly jog at the park...walking at end 1/2 mile, but tons of jogging, i surprised myself!
9:30 brunch....big meal: egg whites in a wrap, tons of sauteed cauliflower, roasted mushrooms, even some steamed broccoli, greek yogurt with nutmeg and chocolate stevia...around 700 here.

8pm...therapist tonight (i go to her bc i like someone to talk to about my career situation or lack-of...family stuff...i go to her like once a month, sometimes more....i am not ready to quit with her, because i like a soundboard, it's not expensive, i don't have a good relationship with my mom and it helps to talk to her...)

^^^^ I AM ON A NICE STAYCATION ^^^^ I like this vacation very much because I am spending it exactly how I want to: exercising a nice amount everyday, getting very important things done like booking my weekend Toronto flight tickets for my 30th bday in September...and getting an awesome deal...taking care of serious banking...dermatologist/dental appts...just doing things that need concentration and/or time committments that I don't have with my usually crazy schedule.
I am happy to have this wonderful week off. Later in the week, thurs/fri, will be spent seriously on vacation: going to special remote beaches that require a short ferry ride to get to. They are the cleanest, most beautiful beaches in the Long Island vicinity. Also, they are very touristy, people do vacation on them, most of the people who live on this island, FIRE ISLAND, have summer homes and live elsewhere in the winter. The affluent, sophisticated type are well accounted for on these islands...but out of towners also love to come here. Also, dogs are allowed, if you have one, on the beach! :-)

EXERCISE: 3 mi jog/walk in AM, bootcamp class for an hour, biking to gym (like 10-15 min each way), full weight routine at gym. GOOD exercise, as you can tell. bootcamp class - I got a cool Amazon Local deal for two weeks, and I actually planned to attend during this staycation, it's part of my staycation fun activities!!!! :-)

Happy Saturday: I am officially on a "staycation." I do have some appts and fitness classes lined up, which the appts include the dentist and are very important, but on Thurs/Fri of the next week nothing planned except the beach at least one of those two days with my best friend...also this weekend Sunday with her...should be a good week to exercise and sleep better, that's my only two goals. Sleep well (not a crazy vacation where i'm up all hours!) and exercise more.
Hour Massage at Massage Envy (from an excellent, very seasoned, practiced therapist...) at 9am (early, but only time available so i'll take it!...), cardio exercise after at park or neighborhood riding bike, pick up lunch for grandma and visit her for lunch, exercise more at park or neighborhood riding bike, shower, meet friends for dinner. that's today's plan :-) maybe a stop at the supermarket for some small items on the way home tonight from friend's...
unplanned breakfast: was only gonna have a protein bar, didn't work lol...210, fiber one and milk 240: 450.
snack after massage: probably an iced decaf coffee...followed by more snacking...lol

Definitely feeling really bloated this morning...I ate a huge dinner last night, way too much, kinda a way of procrastinating and even thinking about work today!

lunch: healthy sauteed greens, leftovers.., salmon, tortillas probably. tea. some other food from coworkers 750 total

dinner: healthy, but overloaded with grilled veggies (way over one pound!, maybe over two pounds), small piece of salmon, small 50 cal tortilla...maybe 800 cal.
total around 2500, was worth it.
exercise: over an hour run/walk AND 25 min hardcore stairclimber!
