a friend's bday - so going into the city :) and doing fun things....a bar with a bull to ride that i learned about bc it's close to my job, seeing an off-broadway show (still great!) and perhaps dinner after. a party of a saturday and back to the gym sunday...still working on getting out to the gym tonight...i'll get there around 7:30pm!

GYM and dr appt - leaving work half hour early and home on time/little early. perfect for gym tonight, Friday night, Sunday of this week. 

Everything worked out - maybe i'll ask for advice regarding dr appt...not in mood right now though!

i got the dr (psychologist) to agree to every 3 months instead of 2...he wants me to try different drugs out...and i don't feel like being a guinea pig...that has to do with my question..i'll write it some other time, i'm still thinking about it.

Ah I see... I think you are right to be concerned. Just be careful. I understand where you are coming from. Many years ago, I was prescribed Prozac for depression. It didn't help and made me very anxious, so then they prescribed Ativan too, for the anxiety, but that lead to uneven moods, so then they prescribed a drug I don't remember the name... thorazine? ... which is an anti psychotic and can cause irreversible damage.... anyway after having so many drugs that weren't really solving any problems, I decided that stopping the prozac was the right decision.

Snack: 170 choc covered coconut bar atkins (really loving them now though too much, not interested in my typical avocado wraps...)170, 50 cals in siracha almonds yum. 

Lunch: nice, from home!  :) lots of fresh (well been in fridge couple weeks but tasty!) peppers 100?...tofu 100 and potatoes i roasted 150, avoacdo 100 tops. 400.

Snack - coffee/almonds 100

Dinner Before Gym plum 50, 1/2 chicken burger 100, 1/2 avocado 150, wrap 100, roasted veggies 100, dessert: 

Ice cream 150, granola bar in middle of night, interruped sleep lately, but i do go back to bed.

it's late - and i'm going to skip the gym tonight...i'll go tomorrow as i get out early. one more skip this week & totally ok...this summer it's more about convenience than anything else...i'm still doing a great job sticking with my goals.

Bars ( cereal,choc type...not alcohol type) of any kind,.....literally...have an addictive quality for me...ever since they first came out...I remember fighting that monster way back in the 1990's......it was my one glitch in my ww program back then...

i at one point had a problem with QUEST bars...i'd be eating 2-3 a night...nothing nutritious about it, that's around the time i was suffering from leg injuries.

The gym will be there when you're ready. Better to go when you can have a great workout than to go when not so ready or convenient and have a mediocre output.

yes, i just have to do what i have to do....scheduling with few days off means i should just make the best of it...:) and have a good workout when it's possible and skip when it just seems not worth it....yeah, trying not to let it bother me as i'm doing my best in my mind :)

Snack:salted sunflower seeds, couple cashews 200

Dinner:tofu 100, lots of yellow zucchini (yes, that is what it was, not a summer squash!) 100 at least, toast 100, and some light caeser dressing 100. 400. and a chocolate 50. and some light ice cream.

1950-2000 :) overall EXCELLENT.

Understood! The car my daughter drives now is in our name, but depending on what car insurance rates will be for her, perhaps the next car (old & used) will be in her name only. Ownership isn't the problem - it's the dang cost of insurance!

Geico is cheap even if you use the same offerings as another company, that's what i did with my parents yesterday, i selected same options we have with other insurance under geico and it's still way cheaper.

VERY! They go good with a coffee following to fill up my stomach as they are small but extremely tasty high fat and some protein. Kinda like a keto diet! Love their taste !

Very happy with weekend calories, gonna do my averages this week for Monday-Friday and not include the weekend, because it was very good and i don't want to give myself leeway to overeat M-F.

1400- today i'd say was way more healthier than not!

dinner after late gym session: chicken burger 200, avocado 80, wrap 80. 360 and soooo sooo good! mayne have a little snack after it...and plums 100

today was spent relaxing, food prep just a little, cleaning up & organizing a little bit to start the week better than last week. this week entails some special errands - and forms to fill out to transfer title of car from my dad to myself...i may have to push off dr appt again this week, until next week i'm thinking...or just do it all in one week. a lot still going on. glad i had friday off. may have to do it again, soon.

i will go out for a big gym session later. was thinking to even bike there :) after resting and food prepping a little (cooking some chicken burgers, potatoes, that's really it unless i decide to cook more tonight...).  i'll bring lots of fresh veggies all week to work for lunch. and start the week with avocado...and when i run out i'll get some indian palak instead (spinach) to use in my sandwiches.

they are good and sold as single packaging in the box...around 75 i think cals per pb cup. just like reeses but without the sugar. pretty good. some fiber so you gotta watch it with them. i love them. seem to lessen my appetite. :) change of pace, i don't see myself buying them all the time but a nice change :)

today my body and mind chose to eat a lot of health rather than i think my typical weekend. i yearn to feel better and at least i'm set up with some healthy protein for much of the week, fresh veggies, healthy avocado...happy about it.

6pm Dinner: LEFTOVERS :) broccoli and veggies 100, spinach 50, butter bread with vinagrette 200, egg 100 yummmmmm 450 yummy healthy!

want a light couple days :) did gooooood today....

snack: maybe.ice cream 300

easy day. no gym until tomorrow which i'm trying for a BIG session in the afternoon.

I slept in till 9am ! because we went to bed late around / after midnight. yeseterday was a nice day :) ...it's a rainy day. not sure of plans. will relax now at home. 

schedule to go to a dance concert with ricky but it's outdoors in courtyard. if the rain is minimal i'm going to try to go wtih him and bring umbrella. but we first have to see if it's still even on! - it was cancelled but we walked around and went shopping/browsing & got a few groceries

lol...you are right to ask and wonder! haha...

there are some reasons: #1 - it was overpriced around $3 - i do think this had a lot to do with it... #2 - i was ravenous bc it was around 3 i think and my calories were so good...i was eating it more like an appetite suppressant which worked out for the day, luckily #3 along with #2, it was really a calorie-counting thing and trying to work things out.

Supposed to have lunch with Christine, but just ate now right before 11:30 - wrap 100, turkey breast spicy meat 50, 1/4 lg avocado 100 and veggies 50. 300., bai raspberry tea

2nd lunch: ? not in mood...veggies i guess...maybe ask her to change plans since she might get here late, otherwise i'll get a veggie tofu soup and a diet coke with lemon.700

2 wraps 150,  turkey 100, avocado 150...400, coffee 50.  450 

Small coffee with cream and small protein bar 200 

late when i got home: sf jello and whipped cream. 150.

2200. decent. i could have done better but had like 2 healthy lunches, but it was 2 lunches. still not a bad day.

getting set to enjoy the weekend!

I went & put money on my laundry card later & pick up my dress that i got fixed at cleaners for wedding in a couple weeks today.

Went to the supermarket to get food for the week ahead!

Happy to have taken today off.

Seeing a movie & getting lunch with my friend C later.

And in the early evening after 4pm, out to go fishing and see a free concert with R. HAPPY TO NOT BE AT WORK, at my desk, or taking public transportation now!

R was just laid off...they are laying people off. I hope he gets a positition at another company in a week or so...he went to union to fill out the appropriate paperwork. he didn't do anything wrong, the company is just elminiating some workers bc there's less work.

yeah, i'm thankful to have taken today off. it worked out quite well and also well for planning things last minute with friends :) i also got some outstanding errands done so i'm happy not to be thinking of them anymore!

it worked out really well with today off :) i was productively busy in the morning and was able to sleep in a couple hours till 8 :) instead of having to be at work at 8!

yes i am :) but i realized that i put in for vacation but didn't get it approved! Meaning, my supervisor wasn't there to approve it yesterday even though everyone was emailed i was taking vaca. should be OK.

I'm nervous that I accidentally forgot that my vacation is supposed to be approved oops - the secretary urged me to hand it in and I forgot til today when it dawned on me that it needs to be approved lol ah well well see what happens Monday big mistake on my part but hopefully Not treated as major come Monday

R is feeling pretty good...seems he wants some time off on unemployment before starting a new job. he's 58 & seems to want some time to relax right now. he's told me he'll wait a couple months at least before going back to work...

Snack: egg / avocado wrap 250. and these awesome scrambled egg whites from a quick walk with coworker in AM..! yes, really. 100. hopefully not more, it was a big serving of egg whites.

Lunch: another avocado wrap 200, tomato 50 with salt / pepper, leftover beans 100, maybe plums for a snack 50. 400.. roasted veggies? 100, coffee 50

Before gym: caffeine and carbs for sure, banana 350, whipped cream 100/jello

during / after gym: small banana 100, zone bar 200, 2 atkins peanut butter cups 150. 450. good.

 Today: 2050, excellent to say the least.

6day: 2185, excellent.

 took a very long way home, so had some extra snacks as it's late now before gym...relaxing for a few minutes, then out to do my routine. I skipped a day or two this week, which is fine! My plan is to go tonight and then sunday morning i'm thinking - instead of Saturday night as it's pretty late now and i'm better off doing the next workout Sunday, not Saturday afternoon :) 

I decided to take a vacation day tomorrow at the last minute. Will be seeing a movie with a friend and having lunch with her. then going out to the Beach with R.  Saturday i'll hang with R also, to see at least 1 concert (free). and Sunday i'm also hanging with him, another free concert. ...Laundry somewhere inbetween - probably Saturday morning or afternoon.

I was debating a sick day, but i'm glad i didn't take one and that i made it into work, late by 10min...I'm leaving early today at 4:10...and getting my butt to the gym. I've been working late and not focussing on my own goals for after work fitness stuff...Now that it's August I'm keeping my commitment to do better. And NOT to take any sick days!  I'm trying to conserve all vaca time for during the Winter, to make that season when i don't want to exercise and it REALLY is tough to do stuff after work - it'll be easier. I'll be able to use vaca / sick days then...NOT now.

Also I have Jewish holidays in September, which i'll take off WITHOUT pay.  So these are days off I'll have to exercise and celebrate the holidays at my own pace...probably watch a service at home with my parents (we aren't members of a synogogue to go only 2x a year is not worth it) .  so, I have days off, plenty, come fall / Winter so i'm really looking to BLOW thru summer without taking days when it's easier to push myself, the weather is good to get out to gym later and get biking and jogging in after work..

Like Donkey says, I have to remember my limits...and rest still when i have to, not push too hard right now. I feel better now that i'm here at work.  Now that i'm at work and realizing i can take my schedule at my own pace more, I feel better again. I am in charge of my after work schedule to a degree, and I will remember that!

Lunch: i have tons of veggies. want to have my big tomato and season it with salt and pepper, also i have beans and leftover pork kebab from dinner with Dad on Monday. 700...had a lot of food & beans. all healthy, just a lot.

I normally dislike tomatoes, but BF like to eat them with seasoning, and so i've been trying it more lately. Not bad!
