1600 calories today and one  hour of cardio exercise.

good day because i spent it with my friend, out of the house, watched a movie...went to the BEACH! in october! yes, it was nice out. and there were a few other people there.

was a great day...but i realize i can't live like this forever!

Progress as of today: 0 lbs lost so far, only 15 lbs to go!

I think that you should plan on having regular days like this one. They are good for you. I love walking on the beach in the winter, not so much in summer. It was a good day - well done!

wow, you continue being my idol :))) I really hate gym!!! I went there yesterday and I had to fill out a paper and give a rate in a 1 to 5 scale about my "will to workout in the gym"... I gave a 3 but that's a lie, lol. I'm not NEUTRAL, I'm NEGATIVE, should have given 2. Still feeling bad about that, lol...

wow..i've been skipping a lot of days recently on here!...

breakfast: huge and good...since it was late and i added in some fiber. huge bagel and lox with some whitefish spread, 2 bran crackers also. milk. coffee earlier in the morning. a bit of pie. ...

snack: bar.

lunch: english muffin with eggwhite and bran cracker.

snack at gym: gum and powerade 30

dinner: meat lasagne 300, bran crackers with it, huge apple, milk, soda, lots of broccoli too, cooked from LAST MONDAY, still good.

total today is under 2000. good day. good breakfast and dinner...satisfying.

exercise: only weights, for 1.5 hours. no cardio.

and yes, too much bran lately...it makes things a lot more filling, which is why i "add" it to my foods. for instance, the other day, i had pizza, but cut it up and put it on top of the my scandinavian bran crackers. you get full and it really works. yes, a full pizza slice, cut up, and eaten atop bran crackers. the bran crackers are big, 12 calories only per slice. works great.

total: lets just say 1900.

exercise: some in am, some in pm, some even later.

how i'm feeling: that life is passing me by.

I am sorry that you feel as if life is passing you by. I have often felt that way myself and it is usually because I am not engaging in life. There are a whole lot of different activities, people and general life out there. It is really a matter of pushing forward and taking our life in our own hands. It is sometime not easy but well worth the effort. I hope that you find a way out of your funk:)

:( I am sorry you feel that way...Life hands you challenges and sometimes when you don't know where to start, what to do....The only thing that you can do is think and plan out what it is you want out of life....Not in a million years would I have thought that what I am doing right now makes me happy but it does...Be brave and go out there and get whatever it is that is gonna make you happy...I hope you have a good evening

I have all this time and didn't know what to do with it - except NAP! LOL. Seriously, all the things I thought I'd like to do didn't seem all that important anymore. But Slowly, slowly I have been trying some new/old things again. Yoga, biking, reading, praying (yes, that too). It's working.....I am starting to feel like "somebody" again only trouble is I have a problem finding anyone MY AGE to do some of it with me! Ha! - ya gotta love how life is.......strange and beautiful!

breakfast: apple 100, soy milk and oatmeal 200, yogurt w. sf syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon 120: 420 :-)

snack: coffee,bar 180

lunch/snacking: BINGED. yep. i went walking with a friend, was totally exhausted, came home, and overate on everything. lots and lots of calories.

probably around 4000-5000 cals.

today ends at 2430 calories. not great, but it was OK. and satisfied with the calorie total.

now that i can do over 25 real pushups, my next goal is PULL-UPS (AND NOT THE DIAPER EITHER!) MY GOAL WILL BE TO DO 10 PULLUPS ONE DAY. RIGHT NOW, I CAN DO ABOUT 3-4..WHICH IS STILL PRETTY DARN GOOD.

breakfast: apple 100, oatmeal and soy milk 200, yogurt w. sf syrup and ovaltine 140, peanut butter 100: 540. yum.

lunch: fish 200, stir fry 350, bran/soy milk 200: 750 yum?

tsf: around 1300, very good.

snacks - 2 coffees 100, bar 230 total 330

dinner: tofu 200, taco bell chicken chalupa 380, bran 70: 650...was hungry and indulged in what i wanted.

total: 2280 GREAT, for staying under 2300. haha.

snack: apple and red pepper. 130

exercise: 3 mi walk, 30 min elliptical.

Great goal, pullups are darn hard. I know this from trying the monkey bars at the playground with my boys - oh man! Hope you have a great one!

Real push ups are tough. I don't think my body moves that way - I do them from the (sissy) knees! Good luck on the pull ups - you can do it. I like this goal!

darn...i cooked 3 stir fries and wrote about them, then it got deleted in this entry...

1. shirataki noodles and veggie stiry fry: 3 portions total at 170 calories each, for my info. ingredients: snow pea/broccoli/slaw bagged veggie mix, noodles, scallion, safflower oil, thai seasoning packet containing 180 cal mostly of sugar, but i had it in my house for over a year and wanted to use it!!! and it'll taste great in the stir fry!

2. broccoli and safflower oil, scallions, salt, garlic.

3. spinach and shirataki noodles stir fry, safflower oil, and the other packet of thai seasoning mix, 4 portions 150 calories each (just for me to know)

Breakfast: apple 80, yogurt w. pumpkin pie spice and sf syrup 120, oatmeal w. soy milk 200: 400 total. not really satisfying even though it was a lot of food.

 lunch: some of a monster drink while cooking, then an english muffin w. a bran cracker, heated up, and chicken breast deli meat 250, oh and some veggies that i'd cooked, still 250.

snack: slice of pie, coffee: 300

snack: serving of stir fry 170, small piece of fish 180, apple 80, coffee 50: 480, was so hungry!

snack: cereal 200 (bran and soy milk)

dinner: 270

around 1900 calories. very successful.

exercise: 55 min elliptical, over an hour of weights. abs, back.

total ended up being around 5500 today.

breakfast; 600

lunch: 550

snack: 100

horrible binge: sandwich 400, vegetables stir fry 100, 2 more big pitas 520 just for that, tons of ice cream 1050 or so, plus more ice cream 300, apple 100, peanut butter 500, jelly 100?, some bran 50, am i forgetting anything!? around 3200 or so.

i just don't know. i guess i'm not really giving myself a fair shot in life or reality or really anything.

so, i have had two binges  this week...and it should take at least a week or so to even out all these extra calories. of course, the endless sugar and fat are already wreaking havic on my insides, too bad i don't even care.

So sorry you had another bad day :( Sometimes we just aren't ready to diet and try making ourslelves and it jsut doens't work (been there several times). Hang in there! If you want this bad enough it will happen for you. Stay strong :D

total: 1560 = excellent.

exercise: weights/cardio i think at the gym...
