BUSY WEEK.  NO GYM SINCE SUNDAY. THAT'S OK.   after all, i can't exercise if i'm exhausted and getting sick is not an option right now for me! :-)

breakfast, snack, lunch: 700 cal.

late 5:45 snack: jello 120, coffee 70, smoothie 160, diet soda: 350 :-)

popcorn and ravioli 540

total 1590 :-)

good thing: 2181 calories per day over the past 7 days. :-)

HOWEVER, OVER THE PAST 30 DAYS ON HERE I BINGED NUMBEROUS TIMES.  my daily average of calories over the past month is 2617 calories per day. almost a 5 lb gain since it is at least an extra 500 cal per day on most days. what to do about that? nothing. what to do in the future? breathe and think about my actions and if i really want to reach for more food! is food what i really need at the moment or is my body yearning for something else?

umm, more calculations....and an 89 or so day average (i could have gotten a day wrong here and there haha) of 2415 calories per day. This is still about a 5 or 5.5 pound gain.

so, no matter how i look at things, i gained 5 lbs in the past few months. not bad, not good. it just is.

5 lbs in the long run is not a lot. and it is easily mended. although, i am NOT weighing myself anytime in the near future. i am no longer interested in the scale. I have my clothes and my feelings. that's all i really need right now.

no scale necessary! :-)  well, right now. scales are great for MAINTAINING, but i am not there yet!

I am happy with this.

breakfast, very early: one jolly rancher 25, coffee 50, smoothie 150: 225

snack: dunkin donuts flatbread and tea: 340

other snacks: diet drinks: 40

lunch: sandwich, light yogurt, tea. 300

TSF: 905..

snack:  cereal?  i'm thinking more like ices and coffee?  OR, a smoothie with milk....and tea w. milk! :-) i've been buying soooo much milk lately!! :-)  and those smoothies are SO GOOD. 200 cal.

TSF: 1105

dinner: something microwavable and romaine with dressing to compliment it.

total calories today: 1500 or so. a good day.

BED.  hopefully at least weights at the gym. tough week but i can get through this with less damage from here on out! yesterday has passed! :-)

i must be in this to win this.  too much backsliding. i will not be at my goal by the wedding. but, i must BELIEVE that this doesn't mean i should stop trying. I MUST NOT stop trying. right now, i am backsliding...but, at this moment, i'm not. i feel good i know i can handle what comes my way. things have been looking up lately, especially at school.  i must remember this when i get in a bingy  mood. there is no reason to not RISE to the pressure.  when pressure comes, i will NOT fall....i am trying to work harder.  :-)

Had to laugh at the Jolly Rancher for breakfast! I have been hooked on Tootsie Pop DROPS which I just discovered for my sugar fixes.

final calorie total: 3850. not proud. parents coming home from a 10 day vacation tomorrow and i have a huge exam. that's the reasons for the binge. along with exhaustion from yesterday and today.

POOPED.  been in the busiest part of the hospital these past couple weeks. and the next couple will be busy also. i will probably skip the gym today, just like yesterday bc when i get home i am....POOPED.

breakfast: cereal 160, yogurt 160, coffee 80: 400.

snack: yogurt 160

lunch: yogurt 80, sandwich w. avocado and tofu: 300, tea w. milk 30: 420

TSF: 980.

snack:

dinner: 3 light egg rolls, tofu, cucumber, light sauce: 400, rolls w. butter: 470, ice cream 200: TSF: 1070

tsf: 2050....i'm having a smoothie and will THEN call it a night. sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do! delicious dinner. a bit large but i feel like a reward through food. it's still low in calories. should i trust the calories the egg rolls say on the box!? good deal!

total calories: 2200 yes. yes. yes. more bread...2300...550 more, so 2850. 820 MORE: 3670.

exercise: no way.

BED.

what a week it has been! but wait, today's only tuesday. after wednesday is over, the week will get a bit more relaxed, thankfully!!!

today was busy at school. on my feet most of the day. not sure if i'll go to the gym at all...my legs and feet hurt!

breakfast: cereal and milk, coffee, diet soda 400

snack: didn't. i wanted to. but it didn't work out.

lunch: 420

large snack around 4:30 - DD grilled cheese flatbread and coffee 420, smoothie 160 total: 580...AND two rolls 340 more

TSF: 1,740. pretty good for all that food!

yogurt and candy: 180, tofu and egg rolls that are supposedly healthy but i really can't see the low calories they say they are! 260 total here: 440

total: 2180.

i've been having good days. thanks to all my friends and family. that is why! :-)

breakfast: large bowl cereal, coffee, diet orange soda. 400

lunch: large tea 40, tofu 100, avocado 80, popcorn 240: 460. yogurt 190: 650

tsf: 1050

snack: grilled cheese flatbread and coffee 430. yogurt. 170 so 600.

tsf: 1650.  looking good.

dinner a bit large. but good compared to a binge for sure. so i will enjoy it.  low fat egg rolls 240, tomato 80, tofu 100: 420.  ice cream for dessert 200. total: 620

total today: 2270. good!

exercise: 30 min elliptical, weights.

woke up at noon. was talking to the guy from around 3-4:30 in the morning. this is what we've been doing for the past couple weeks. and thank gosh i was able to sleep thorugh the night. i'm so glad. bc i really needed sleep. but, now my exercise may not get done.

lunch at noon: cereal, coffee: 400.

snack: yogurt 160 chocolate whips

snack: same as breakfast 400

TSF: 960.

dinner: salad w. many veggies, just vinegar, grilled shrimp, some croutons. about 500 would be my guess. no more.

total today: 1450...i'm hungry...gonna have a yogurt before bed! 170 more.

total today: 1620 or so. nice. :-)

exercise: 30 min elliptical, 20 min slow treadmill in the evening. overall good enough. weights tomorrow at the gym... :-) was a nice weekend.

out for dinner and bowling with a friend. it was league night, so we just came back to my house and chilled out for a bit. :-) bowling alley didn't have any lanes. but that's ok!

snack: yogurt? tea with milk? 200.

lunch: pb on light bread 280, yogurt 100: 380, tea. w milk 20 400 total  and seasoned/lightly buttered great tasting veggies, tomato basil soup from cafeteria. good actually.

TSF: 980.

snack: pb on bread (early snack) 280

later snack almost 5pm: 2 heavy duty tasty yogurts! 340.

TSF: 1600 ok

dinner:  650. healthy.

Total: 2250. good.

afternoon edit: it's been a good day. i did well at the hospital.  did well in front of whom it mattered. also, i arrived a few minutes late, but i got in a 10 minute walk to and from my car, as i missed a shuttle bus from my car lol.  i may start parking in this area so get in walks when it is nice out. overall, that's an extra mile on my day.

AND, i was on my feet most of today. another plus, plus!!! i am feeling better. although my weight is up, i've been good about sticking with exercise AND weights and this has helped, tremendously, to counteract side effects of a fast weight gain.

i've also been stretching more often in the morning and night (just a couple fast stretches), to keep my flexibility in my legs which tends to go with weight gain on my thighs. so i'm really trying to keep some of  my form, strength, and flexibility as i lose weight again, but also as i am at a high weight again. weight, weight, weight! lol. long paragraph about weight!

mr. florida, mr. florida. you are in my thoughts and we will probably talk tonight on the phone...short, since i have to study...gar! i have TWO tests tomorrow....

i am feeling good about many things in my life right now. and my weight hasn't gotten me down.  i am working through everything.

exercise: 1 mile walking, 15minbike ride, 10minelliptical, abs

i'm still working at making good no pudge brownies.  i wonder if it's in the cards. so far, NO SUCCESS at all...and yesterday's dinner was a pumpkin brownie yogurt fudge. i didn't even have the last bite. it wasn't good enough to share with all of you!

breakfast: 400, cereal and coffee.

snack: yogurt. 160

lunch: healthy roll w. tofu and avocado...and yogurt and tea. 330

snack: white toast (with fiber) 120, and a whips chocolate yogurt spread on them160. total: 280 :).

dinner: around 550-600

total: 1750. good.

exercise: last night i did weights and did them well! and abs. tonight will be cardio....and i can't wait.

WEll, HOP, funny you should be mentioning "worked over" recipes on your post. My daughter and I have been trying some "Hungry Girl" recipes from hungrygirl.com. There are some good ones. Also there are some techniques you can learn from some of the recipes that you can transfer over to some of your regular recipes. We liked Carrot Cake Muffins and loved the Mac and cheese makeover. The M & C has califlower in if which sounded wierd, but actually is great. I do add a bit of salt & black pepper and some ground red pepper to if and top with just a smidge 1/4 cup?) of Kraft FF cheese and pop it in the oven for 20 minutes to make it seem a bit more traditional. If you try it -hope you like.....

sheesh, where is everyone on here? i guess we're all busy!

breakfast: 400 lots of cereal and coffee

snack: 250 healthy roll with tofu and avocado and a large tea and diet snapple.

LUNCH: party in school. slice of heavy-duty bbq chicken pizza. 1050, at least...

total so far: 1750 (i want to at least think i have 500 more cal to spare.) so i'll pretend this is the amount so far.

snack: kept it light. did a good job at that...large sf hot chocolate and coffee combo with a little milk and lots of diet (caffeine free) soda.

i have 400-450 left to use on dinner. then i'll stop by the gym, do weights, perhaps study. and go to bed!

dinner:

exercise: 20 min walk at lunch, weights, maybe walk to the gym or elliptical....

trying and getting by.

short version: 2250 calories.  somewhat active during the morning at school. 25 min walk in the evening. tired. and need to study.

my day is going well. forgot to take the celexa i've been taking. but feeling more alert bc of it i think...it tends to make me tired.

breakfast: pb on ww roll and coffee approx. 370

snack: yogurt 110

lunch: avovado 100/tofu50/roll100 yogurt 150, and tea w. milk 50: 450

snack: maybe my other yogurt if i get hungry 100 spilled all over me!!!

popcorn: 240

dinner: healthiest: tofu, olive oil, tomatoes, 4 rice cakes: 460....then, pb on rolls 500. 960 for dinner.

total cal today: 2230. good.

i haven't talked to mr. florida in the past two days. i miss him.  we have been getting along really well - despite the fact he lives so darn far away!

exercise: definitely gym and weights today. i have to.  it'll be a late day bc i have to attend a seminar for an hour extra this afternoon. so maybe just cardio tonight and weights tomorrow...i may just walk outside, we'll see.
