You're doing so well with getting in lower calorie counts. I think this is where I'm going wrong - I'm eating too much. Oh well, so much for intuitive eating.
I am not sure how coworkers sleep so much less than me!?
Lately it seems i'm having more higher cal days so it's good to get in lower cal days to balance them out. lately, or since after my "injury," my eating has been different than before the hospital.
anyways, if you see, one of my secrets to a lower cal day is to eat "snacks" for dinner. I have so many special things in my diet to help me - low cal coffee, kombucha, dried jackfruit is another new one, fruit, using stevia, last week eating cottage cheese was helpful...my wraps. I don't know what i'd do if i didn't go out of my way to help myself feel fuller...i don't know what i'd do if i couldn't have all my favorite things!?
Morning: again didn't get up with enough time to do ab work...to do tonight along with legs. :) after dinner. no kombucha either.
breakfast: small granola bar with small cottage cheese 200, lg coffee 80.
snack: tbd cliff bar 260
lunch: Dave's 250 bagel with salami 100 with butter 50 and i need to pick up veggies to eat with it..red cabbage salad with carrot/beats/corn 200..600 grapes.50..neeeed coffeee
snack: tbd - maybe buy fruit at fruit stand? dried jackfruit 100, coffee
dinner: maybe the light whipped cream with cranberries...i want another lower cal day this week - tried a sf cookie from bakery 100, whipped cream 120, cranberry jell 80., dried jackfruit 100.400.
..kombucha 60, poporn 100

LOL - Therapist canceled on me for tonight - I TOTALLY DO NOT MIND! :) happy to not drive tonight!...
So, change of plan - drive to Fairway (just a few exits on the highway) as a change of pace since i'll already be in my car from the Train Station - don't need to go home to get my car - pick up veggies for my Pets bc we are very low on veggies for both myself and the cutie piggies...and come home. maybe pick up some seltzer too.

I left for work early today bc i drove to the train instead of taking bus and needed to find and spot and judge how long the walk from my spot to train would be. it's good i left extra early because there were not many spots left! :) Wednesdays are the easiest day to find parking since there's no side of the street parking rules in effect for street cleaning on Wednesdays at all. I am lucky i chose Wednesdays to drive to Long Island for my therapy appointments after work and i'm lucky Ricky gave me the idea to skip the bus and just drive to the train on Wednesdays. I found his car as i was walking, he got a VERY close spot to train bc he drives in wayyy earlier than i do! Not to go into it too much, i got to work early, so i can leave early i guess, then i have to commute home on train, grab a snack so i'm not hungry, and drive to my appointment. i will prob get there early so i may just stop by my parents, first, so i can drive home right afterwards and not sleep over my parents - gotta take care of guniea pigs and it will be better to go there and back in one day...just gotta do it without stressing. Without traffic, the drive home / to appt is 45 min (which is what it'd be coming home if i don't sleep over). it'll prob take with some traffic around an hour to drive to the appt/parents today, after work. then do appt and see parents, then back home 45 minutes. That's on top of commuting around an hour each way to work, LOL. I may be looking for a different therapist soon, not sure. we'll see how bad this commute stuff is today.

Tonight:
skipping the flusing (asian) train home for the week to make my mom happy (Coronavirus)....taking E train....the slightly faster one, anyways.
weight training for upper, got situps done with morning in just the nick of time thankfully don't have to include them tonight, even if they don't take long, they make the rest of the workout longer...if that makes sense. the pushups only took like 5min this morning, but, it's like 15min saved tonight because i sometimes stretch these workouts and take really long breaks between sets (get distracted).
also, will pack food for work the night before....makes the morning so much easier :)...if time, i'll do the laser hair removal home device. (weights shouldn't take long tonight, maybe if i work at it, only 20 min to do)
20 yrs in the union = health care for life....thinking to stay for 20yrs, then leave to work for the courts...????...sounds like a good plan although the courts seems still intriguing to start ASAP.
Progress as of today: -2 lbs lost so far, only 0 lbs to go!
i'm just thinking options and how by 50 i'll be less likely to want to start over...
healthcare of course is soooo important.
i was thinking i may do what i was thinking of (court thing) as early as possible if i can, despite a monetary loss, if i can get into the courts in a "pre-clerk" type of position. it would allow more opportunity for advancement to head in early and i think there's some medical insurance available for retirement after putting in 10 years.

bearcountrygg on 02/04/2020:
You guys have a nice vibe going on there at work....lots of food sharing and taking care of each other....do you work best when you are rushing around ? ( some people do)...or are you most productive if you have a little time to settle in when you get there?).....i always wanted to be a little early....I was just calmer to get started on my work.
I do good work when it's rushed at the last moment and can work like that sometimes but NOT continuously as it has bad effects on my health. I have worked like that over weeks and months, but need some low key downtime too.
right now, work is NOT stressful and i have some time in the morning to eat breakfast and everything. i doubt it will be this way, always, for the rest of my career.
