day 1...sorta low carb but there were some sugars for sure.

breakfast: piece salmon from leftovers, milk: 500

snack: yogurt w. sweetner 140

lunch: beans upon beans, olive oil, almonds, coffee: 340

early large dinner and dessert: 350 microwave meal, 4 red peppers 120, cucumber w. dressing 50, two yogurts w. pb and jelly in them 400. total here: 920 too  much obviously.

total: 1900 not bad though. but no gym. i'm still exhausted.

Progress as of today: -12 lbs lost so far, only 22 lbs to go!

Your 1900 looks real good...get some rest. Sometimes that is better for one than gym.

before 4pm: 640.

after: 320 beans/almonds, 110 cucumber and dressing, 110 3 peppers, 350pizza, 240yogurt., pb and j and milk 630  done.  1760 total.

total: 2400....cake. 800..100

total: 3300. ugh.

i'm tired and just down on everything.

i feel like i'm hopeless right now.

what should i do?

should i just go low carb? and stick to it? can i stick to anything?

you are doing a low cal thing, which DOES trip people up frequently(although i do it and haven't seemed to have any problems YET [knock on wood!!!]) and i think that mayube you should try just plain old healthy eating, counting the servings of each food group you get, go back to basics.

I know that the 'bingy' feelings I was having, were very real and way out of my control. But the Thyroid and adrenals play a HUGE role in our health. Take care sweetie

this is an extra entry for today. i'm going to calculate my calorie total average per day since January 1st, the new year.

let's see if my weight should have maintained, wen't up, or down: 

45 days, avg calories per day:  2360. not good by ANY means. how come last month i thought i could to this. but i've just been gaining weight continuously still?? so much trouble.

i can't even make it better fast and simply.  i must forget this. stay determined. change my ways. i couldn't concentrate at all today. was thinking about food since i got up! ugh.

total cal not good: 3310. great job, jk. i let food consume me today.  no exercise besides some shopping with dad.

breakfast: large:  2 greek  yogurts miked together with fiber i added in: 240, 2 ice cream pops 180 total: 420.

snack: tofu corndog, yogurt: 240 :) good.

out to lunch: around 400

snack: 2 yogurts 260, bran crackers.100..maybe ice cream 270...chips 450..pizza 350, apple 70. is ok.  1500 right here...pb and jelly: 650, milk 100 total: 2250

 because i'm able to just hang around this morning, i'm going to spend some time on here commenting!  i miss commenting on EVERYONE'S entries but i just cannot do it each day of the week. so whenever i do get a chance, it's something i like to do!  happy belated valentine's day to all of you! (since i think i forgot to write happy v-day yesterday...)

Yes cramps suck!! I never had any till after I had my daughters. I also use a copper IUD for birth control and that makes them worse also. It seems mine come every other month.

Thanks for the input, i am trying to eat between 1600 and 2000 cals a day, but yesterday i wasnt very hungry. I had kind of this flu bug that was really bad. but thanks for the info!!!

I can really relate to all your posts as I've struggled with binge eating since I was in middle school...Compulsive overeating is a horrible disease. Keep fighting! You are stronger than the food!

Hang in there, i hate those kind of days and i used to have them frequently, now im pushing myself hard not to but i might still slip up, but i really hope you don't again, what i do when I'm in that binge-y mood, i think of how good i will feel to be able to wear a bikini one day!!! haha!

revolutionary road was a pretty good movie! :)

yay! workout was 4 mi walk today! and calories not more than 1500! therefore, i'm doing well. need to keep this up! weightloss here i come.

breakfast: 2 plain yogurts together and i mised in a little bit of pumpkin butter 40, pumpkin 20, cinnamon. total: 260. fine.

snack: largest banana ever! 150. (at least!)

total so far: 410. my goal is between 1500-1600 today. along with a nice, long walk at the park if the weather is warm enough.

woke up slightly upset about my eating and how i have to watch myself so intensely because of yesterday's binging.  so frustrating. i'm going out to dinner tonight but i KNOW i must choose healthy stuff and really watch myself all day if i want any progress during this month!

it's so important yet so difficult still.

i will probably go visit my grandmother today just to keep me out of my house and food. i'll bring some healthy stuff to have there so i don't get tempted.  I'm an adult, how can i give into temptations so easily, right!? lol.

then, off to have dinner and movie with some female friends who also don't have any dates tonight with guys!

cal before dinner: 780.

snack: yogurts 220, oatmeal 130, small apple 60...celery later 40.  total 450

dinner veggies 120, peppers 100, stirfry 175, veggie burger 120: 420

1650...package of light pastry crackers 450!  total: 2100.

i ment to have a lower cal day. but gave in...ice cream...600

total: 2700. bad.

2 day avg = 2500.

if i eat well in the next few days...not worry, not plan days that are too low in calories, all will be good. i realize this can be VERY difficult for me. i have more trouble sometimes on the weekend. and we have a 3 day weekend. but i can get through this...

i realize that i will probably NOT reach my goal for April acting like this. :(


exercise: elliptical 65 mintues! :)

<3,000 then......... Think positive, not I probably WONT..... I WILL TRY MY DARNDEST maybe instead.... I know it is so much easier said than done my friend... I look for a day that you have all this stress/trouble behind you that will allow you to see your capabilities to their fullest... I REALLY do..... I have had my "down" time and now I have no other choice, but to start looking at things like I did in the beginning days.. I'm the same person, just "forgot" HOW GOOD it felt for a while to be on track..... I'm 40 and haven't learned yet.. There is hope always tohgouh.. I belive that too...

2250-2270 approximate today. not a great day in my book as i come home, ate, relaxed WAY too much and studdied not enough. oh well, i'm going to sleep. no need to destroy my weekend bc of it.

i've been getting more sleep this week...it feels GREAT.


breakfast: yogurt 140

no snack...felt alright.

lunch: planned. pretzel mustard/ketchup and coffee 450

large snack: ice cream pop 90, yogurt 120, oatmeal 130...small pizza, another ice cream 440 total: 780 ok.

well...chips 600...two more yogurts 260. DONE. KINDA NEEDED IT.

TOTAL: around 2230. close...not wonderful, but not absolutely terrible either. was on my feet much of the day.

today was a binge. but, a controlled one, sorta. eh. maybe not.

no gym, i need to study and i don't want to be rushing around all night.

i'm doing ok.

i have a 3 day weekend. so i might pay for a small amount of yoga classes and take one on Monday. i also am planning on a haircut on saturday. good stuff...

and i have many, many tests next week.

snack: coffee....later yogurt: 170

lunch: wheat bagel plain, tea w. milk/sweet and low: around 450

snack: protein bar 230

total so far: 940 ok.

dinner: lots veggies, some dressing, eggs, ice cream bar :) total: around 400 :)yay.

total: 1340.

very rushed day after school. i was a bit too hungry before dinner.

exercise: 55 minutes elliptical! it was VERY hard throughout. not sure what caused me so much difficulty. i had to rush over to the gym bc i had a dermatologist's appt after that. now it's about 8pm, just finished dinner!

today was not bad at all. very very pleased.

breakfast at home: yogurt, cinnamon, and pumpkin mixed in: 150

NO SNACK. although it might have been better if i did.

Planned lunch: hot pretzel, coffee: 400

snack: oatmeal w. flax and yogurt/cinnamon/pumpkin again: was good: 280

total: 830 :)

dinner: salad, dressing, lettuce to wrap fried egg whites in yum!350, ice cream bar for dessert 100

total: one more ice cream: 1370 :) great.

will walk maybe 1/2 hour tonight. need to study and stuff. major tests tomorrow...

wednesday i'll do some harder exercise. i do have a dermatologist appt though....so we'll see what i can fit in...

alrighty...time for another one of my crazy  (but i am positive it can work) plans.

i have 50 days from now until April 1st.

in 50 days, i hope to lose approximately 15 pounds. I will weigh about 125. then, after this amount of time, I will probably go on a low carb diet. to hopefully weigh 120 at least by the end of April.

Like i've been saying on and off, I have a wedding to attend in mid April.  It'll be like a reunion. I will not be stick thin, but I can at least be average if I can stick to this. So, I'm trying again.

I did good today. I'm happy with EVERY decision I made. now, i must keep it up. not give up or give in when i feel i'm not progressing. because i totally can. i keep looking at old pics of myself and can't believe how great i looked.

so i'm making an effort to go back. because i want to be in a bathing suit at the beach this summer... :)


edit: late dinner: egg whites and lettuce: 200 (i almost had a microwavable pizza after! thank god i didn't! ... this is crunch time. i'm doing a countdown....will update...

total: 1750! great day for me! aside from no exercise. need to study now!

snack which i didn't need: jello/yogurt 180

total: 1550...i might have dinner...but i just ate that last snack and its already 6:30...

i'm doing better with eating i think. it's important to me to lose some weight in the next couple months. no promises. just honest trying.
