(count calories/exercise/relaxing thoughts!)
Weight: 125.4

Saturday: big breakfast, cup blueberries, lots of cereal/milk: 540

I will most definitely be at yoga at 9:30am. Then, a fast change, pretty fast snack (maybe even just something to drink) and I'm off to buy sneakers for both myself and grandma (dad will pay me back for her's), possibly return pants, and then head off to visit grandma. Tonight I have nothing planned but I want to continue with my fitness. If the weather is nice, I might just walk more where she lives and then drive home.

Entry for Friday, July 4th:

no planned exercise, but lots of walking in NYC. That's good for me.

breakfast: blueberries

snack: nothing

late snack: diet drink, bit of a granola bar.

dinner: cheesecake factory: salad, summer rolls, quesadilla

total: 1200.

coney island was great! i went on the cyclone and walked around the boardwalk. BUT, i wasn't able to see the hot dog eating contest. i was there, but so i am so short i couldn't see a thing! it was still cool. perhaps i'll go really early next year. saw sex and the city movie tonight which was great too. a wonderful fun filled day!

have a lovely Saturday.

Progress as of today: 9.6 lbs lost so far, only 10.4 lbs to go!

maria777 on 07/05/2008:
WOW, did you do fantastic yesterday with your 1200 calories!!! Sounds like you had a real good day and have another one planned for today spending time with your Grandma. That is so sweet that you are going to get her some shoes to take to her. Enjoy your visit and your day! Big smile to you! ~Love, Maria

Jen40 on 07/05/2008:
Sounds like a great day!

selina on 07/05/2008:
Great day! I saw the results of the contest (eatin) on TV and thought of you. How can that little guy from Japan eat so much????? Have a great day!

BTW_ what are summer rolls?? a version of spring rolls?

10 more pounds and I will be at 115 :) Why can't i do this?!? meaning, I can do this!!! (and stop the binging which is probably the bigger issue.)

I will try to aim for about 1500 calories today and 1200 (pretty low) tomorrow. I really want to have my act together tomorrow because it's my only day that I will be fully in charge of what i eat. today i'll be in coney island and sunday six flags. I don't want to be a nutcase with my friends so Saturday I'll have to stick to the plan and well as somewhat today. Sunday may include who knows.

Friday update: I know I can't fast all day so even though I woke up majorly bloated and full I had breakfast. i will have to eat better these two days and on Sunday I'll have to just be mindful (six flags great adventure).

breakfast: cup blueberries, WATER.

snack: bar with a good protein/carb/fiber balance that i buy somewhere before i get on the train to the city...I'm gonig to Coney Island today to see the hot dog eating championships. I might as well be in it - just like Thin said!

lunch: nervous

dinner: ahhh! cheesecake factory....

and if i didn't eat bad yesterday i could have went into today much less anxious.

update: 4,000 calories. peanut butter, cereal, granola bars and all.

still eating but so far...2450...had another dessert i don't know...i just want to enjoy the food right now. i don't know. I'm going to coney island tomorrow to watch the hot dog eating championships haha. so i don't know what the food selections might be for me later in the day. nor do i care at the moment. sunday i'll be in six flags. saturday i'll try to eat right.

although not so stressful, life has been busy with my new job. Overall, the roundtrip commute can be up to 1.5 hours or more if there's bad traffic. So, I have had less time to come on here! But it's ok. I'll make up by commenting on everyone's diary this evening.

breakfast: cereal, fruit, milk 210

snack: tofu, food bar: 300

early lunch/snack: food bar 230

lunch: BIG salad, spray dressing, tofu that i need to finish before it goes bad, fruit and nut bar. 295.

snack: soy crisps, small iced coffee 170

total so far: 1210 about. lookin good. It's going to be a late dinner, maybe I can make it small but I'm thinking something microwavable would be better.

exercise: not so much so far: only 1 mile. I may take a break for today and leave it at that!

Progress as of today: 9.6 lbs lost so far, only 10.4 lbs to go!

thinnsidenotout on 07/03/2008:

Enjoy your time at Six Flags. Happy 4th of July. ((hugs))

CutyPie on 07/04/2008:
It's awesome that you're keeping busy and having fun! That's the best way to stay away from eating, especially if you pack meals before to take with! (whenever I do that the night before, thou, I end up eating most of it, but at least the next day is better cuz it's prepacked). Have fun and good luck!

(count calories/exercise/relaxing thoughts!)
Weight: 125.4

after some binging in the last two weeks, i'm finally back to my posted weight, 125.4.

Thursday: wow! last day of this workweek! it went so fast considering it's a new job!

breakfast: cereal, fruit, milk: 200

snack: tofu, energy bar: 300

lunch: yogurts, coffee 190 (I'm planning to buy some other drinks for next week)

snack: another energy bar (at least it has some fiber and a good mix of carbs) 230

dinner: salad...microwavable meal, possibly another energy bar or just a dessert. we'll have to see!

Wednesday entry:

walking during the workday: 2.5 miles! :) yup! and i plan to get in a little exercise AFTER dinner each evening. Tonight will be a short bike ride. after dinner is new for me because i used to exercise before dinner and eat too late. I think eating around 6:00-6:30 will be good, especially because that's around the time i get home from work and i get up earlier so an earlier dinner is good! Whenever i don't have a lot of carbs at dinner i feel denied and then i binge. so i'd rather have them with a slightly bigger dinner.

dinner: smart ones chicken enchilada, LOTS of veggies, and a protein bar for dessert. 660 calories.

breakfast: 1 cup puffed corn, 1/2 cup all bran, cinnamon, 1 cup light milk (only 45 calories it's the Hood Calorie Countdown milk!), 1/2 cup blueberries 200.

total calories: 1580. I can't complain.

snack: dried fruit, nut, and seed bar (i need something different bc the apple is not working) 230

snack: tofu 70

lunch: yogurts, TEA - 150 ... haha and coffee 40

snack: weight watchers bar i think - 230 calories so good! chocolate chip cookie dough.

I am going to try to make more satisfying food choices and try to balance my menu so it contains more of a mix of choices throughout the day.

Progress as of today: 9.6 lbs lost so far, only 10.4 lbs to go!

Jen40 on 07/02/2008:
I bought a couple Smart Ones dinners today while grocery shopping, I hope they're tasty! The WW icecreams are AWESOME. I bought more of those too. OOh I love dried fruit but haven't gotten brave enough yet, I'm expirimenting to see what I can get away with! lol

cybermom4 on 07/02/2008:
I like to have an early dinner too. We are kind of in a weird habit. I put on a crock pot meal for the kids and they eat between 4 - 5. I eat around 5 then my husband comes home and eats at 6 :30. Needless to say - eating as a family never happens except on Sunday after church. It's kind of OK b/c kids are busy with activities and can eat when they need to, but sometimes I feel like we're not "All American" because we don't have a normal family dinner time - but my kids assure me that they are not 'scarred' from the lack of family dinners :)

mmuraro on 07/02/2008:
That's a good idea and great day you had. Oh, I went back to Bikram last night. Almost died hahaha, in a good way. I just remembered how demanding it is from your body. Awesome!

snack: dried fruit, nut, and seed bar (i need something different bc the apple is not working) 230

snack: some kind of bar

dinner: salad, dressing, microwave string beans/almonds, tofu, blueberries.

I am going to try to make more satisfying food choices and try to balance my menu so it contains more of a mix of choices throughout the day.

Tuesday evening entry:

i did walk after dinner for about 1 hour. i'd like to estimate my walk was about 3 miles, maybe a little less.

so, based on that, at least I got in a good number of miles today. at least 5.

dinner was actually a binge. hmmm, it looks like my efforts have been sorta derailed the past couple weeks. I must get back on the ball. however, today wasn't terrible in calories although dinner was WAY overboard.

dinner: I'm not listing all foods but I will say that it was 1300 calories!

total calories: 2350.

early evening entry:

need to get LOTS of veggies in tonight because i have missed them greatly since not eating a single one yesterday!

Like Whoa! Very tired today at work...it's good I wasn't doing anything too important. lol.

I walked on my morning/afternoon breaks (only for like 5-10 minutes each) and at lunch for about 30 minutes. I also walked from my car to the office and both ways is practically 1 mi total round trip, now that I checked. Therefore, just for my day at work I've already walked about 2.5 miles. :) or at least 2 miles! The rest of the day all I do is sit so I love to use my breaks wisely. ;)

foodwise, i need to think of a better snack in the morning and have it earlier perhaps. Maybe a protein bar. Because I've been getting way too hungry in the morning. I'm satisfied during the afternoon.

breakfast: fruit, cereal, milk 250

snack: apple 150

lunch: yogurts, TWO cups coffee with WHOLE milk...300 I only wanted one cup but i was still hungry.

snack: adkins bar that was VERY tasty 200

snack: cucumber 30, tomato, broccoli with lt dressing: total 170

total so far 1070 :).

Progress as of today: 9.6 lbs lost so far, only 10.4 lbs to go!

HUbby just called me and he is headed home..Got let off of a 2 week trial for a drive-by shooting (murder)....He told them on a couple questions that he would be biased..They let him go for today! I believe it involved an illegal alien..We have lots of those in our area....We are not prejudice, but do believe in the law being in tact.... He has to call back after 5 tonight to see if he reports again tomorrow a.m.....

Your day looks good my friend...Your job sounds kinda fun...But, I am a 14 year stay-at-home mom too.... Anything sounds fun..Wouldn't trade my kids for a million bucks ever though...

Have a great evening....Good Walking!

average calories for these past 9 days = 2222. lol, yes, strange number but that's what it is. MUCH better than a few days ago. I NEED to keep this up because it feels good to be fitter and not fatter! :)

busy day, good day. this new job is very stress-free! it's the PERFECT summer job! :)

and, i can even get in a walk at lunch. :)

breakfast: cereal, milk, fruit: 250

snack: apple 140

lunch: yogurts, coffee (it's free, i might be having one a day at work) 200

snack: BAD BAD Atkins Advantage bar. i think these are such garbage but there wasn't a great selection of energy bars at 7-11 today. 240

dinner: iced coffee and french cruller at dunkin donuts with a friend. only 200 if the french cruller is really just 150 like the DD website says it is!

total calories: 1030 supposedly. needed it!

exercise: some walking while at work :) (and i get to park like at least 1/4 mile away so that's good too!), 40 minute bike ride at home, 30 minute walk after dunkin donuts with friend.

obviously a good day and great start to summer! :)

Progress as of today: 9.6 lbs lost so far, only 10.4 lbs to go!

Weight: 125.4

evening edit: instead of not having dinner after exercising because i came home around 8pm, i had a light and healthy meal. a salad with light dressing and tofu followed by 4 strawberries. total: 210

unfortunately, my total for the day is not as rewarding as my dinner. haha. total for the day: 2440.

I sometimes wonder how long my body will hold at for me and how much more damage it can take.

Not a great day. too much snacking. all snacks were before 12:30 noon.

I woke up and biked to get the newspapers. It's less than a 1/2 hour ride round trip. Then had breakfast and now I think i'm going to read the newspapers for a bit, then go to yoga. Later I will try to get a walk in, too. It's a pretty laid back day, no other plans. The important thing is to relax and not feel on edge about this new job. and also not to eat in my free time rather than doing something more productive. I cannot believe next weekend is already July 4th!

9am breakfast: cup blueberries, milk, cereal: 260

10:30am snack: yogurts 230 :)...had one more so 300 calories (a bit much)

11:30am snack: lg apple 130

noon snack: ok, day not going as planned. 5 GRANOLA BARS 700 calories...1/2 tuna sandwich 200...pb on 2 slices of bread sandwich 390, glass of almond milk

3:45 snack: horrible special k protein drink that i wish i never bought and cereal/milk 200

2230 so far.

I'm looking to avg around 2500 calories today since my changes at a 1300 calorie day have been wiped out.

Progress as of today: 9.6 lbs lost so far, only 10.4 lbs to go!

cybermom4 on 06/29/2008:

maria777 on 06/29/2008:
Looks like it's time to say goodbye to granola bars...yes, I know they are real good...too good..and so is chocolate iced cake with colorful candy sprinkles on top...goodbye....to cake!

Donkey on 06/29/2008:
5 granola bars??? That's nothin'. Let me tell ya about the time (like 2 weeks ago) I ate 6 chocolate Fiber One bars. Today I had 3 of them -- I'm craving chocolate like mad (TOM you know). OMGosh, you know where I'll be spending most of my time tomorrow!

thinnsidenotout on 06/29/2008:
Well, at least your cals. came in a little lower than yesterdays....Donkey sounds like she may be in a competition with ya.... : o )

rlovell on 06/30/2008:
hi HOP. missed you this weekend! granola bars are a huge trigger for me as well. go give them out to the homeless folks you see on the street and see the satisfaction you have on giving something you cannot control to others who need it: that should sate the hunger you may really have inside. i love you and you are really making the best effort in this crazy game called eating well. xoxo

hollybelle on 06/30/2008:
You've had some really good days lately, though - this one won't hit you too hard....good luck on the job - they'll love you! Don't worry......

rae_regenbogen on 06/30/2008:
Those must have been some tasty granola bars. I agree with Donkey about those fiber one bars. They are REALLY tasty, but I believe they are also dangerous. I have to leave them in the car (since I'm too lazy to walk out to get one) when I buy them or I'll demolish the entire box and make myself sick. Maybe you could try that with your granola bars?

balloonlady on 06/30/2008:
I love the fiber one bars, I have about one a day. I did have 3 yesterday,,, so I know what ya mean they can trigger the sweet tooth.... but still better than cake or pie...

Weight: 125.4

woke up early around 7:30...at breakfast around 8...fell back to sleep until around 11:15! Unheard of for me. however, my sleep was continuously disrupted by a neighbor hammering and banging starting around 8am! I think he was putting a fence together.

Breakfast: cereal, fruit, milk 260

snack: yogurts: 150

light lunch: apple, iced coffee 200

dinner: HUGE plate of cauliflower in tomato sauce/oil with a huge salad of greens, scallion, and dill. this was out at a Greek Restaurant with my parents. I have to guess calories: 700 I think at most.

1310 calories. good day. :)

little exercise, but i did get in at least a 1/2 hour walk - with Grandma of course.

enjoy your sundays!

avg. calories for the past week are 2358. at least the avg. is steadily decreasing. :)

Weight: 125.4

Saturday entry: woke up a little swolen all over because i had a lot of sodium for dinner!

Breakfast: cup blueberries, cereal, milk: 260.

Friday entry:

avg calories for the past 6 days are high - 2535. It's going to take around 3 more days of high intensity exercise and low calories to bring the average down. so by eating how i did today, it's just going to take longer. for some reason i don't care at this particular moment. although i'm sure it'll matter to me at some point tomorrow!

binged at dinner resulting in a pb and j sandwich and 6 big granola bars after a big dinner. i'm not concerned. total calories for today are: 2590. a bit high on sugar and carbs and calories. what to do? eat well tomorrow. i can do that.

once again, i'm not very concerned with today. i enjoyed what i ate. and i did exercise.

so far so good...looking foward to more good, especially this weekend.

breakfast: cereal, milk, fruit: 220 :)

lunch: cereal, milk, fruit :)..haha, and yogurts...380

snack: special K meal bar (good protein and fiber!) 180

total so far: 780...and then special k protein powder in my water 30 total 810

dinner: going to be a south beach pizza with a lot of alfalfa sprouts with dressing and cherry tomatoes before they go bad

I took a wonderful 5 mi walk at the park and I am glad I continued and didn't call it quits before reaching 5 mi. It's only 4:20pm because I got out of school around 11:30.

Today was my last day of work! I start my new job on Monday. I'll actually have a commute rather than now when I walk to work and it takes 5 minutes. I'll have less "free" time but all time out of work will be "free." There will be NO planning or even thinking about work for my job that starts Monday.

This new job is only for two months, till I go back to school. My goal is fitness and really not too much else. I also want to read most nights whether it be the newspaper or books or even get a step ahead on all my books for the Radiography program I'm enterring. I am excited for these two months to really get on my feet and get prepared for September.

I didn't cry or anything on this last day of work. At first I thought i was going to get really upset, but then I didn't. This change of careers is obviously for the best and i feel really good right now.

Progress as of today: 9.6 lbs lost so far, only 10.4 lbs to go!

I'm sure that I eat as much salad as you do - every time i go to the store i buy a couple or three heads of lettuce and I'm the only one who eats the salad in this house..... I like the red leaves and romaine a lot!

maria777 on 06/27/2008:
Check out my entry...cake..ice cream...I surely gave in today, too!

Maura_girl on 06/27/2008:
Great job on the walking!! Don't be too hard on yourself for over eating. Im sure its the stress and anxiety or excitement of ending one career and starting another one. Thats a lot to handle in just a couple of weeks. It happens, you'll be back on track before you know it. Good luck on Monday and have a fun filled weekend!!!

thinnsidenotout on 06/27/2008:
I can think of much worse thing to binge on than granola bars & pbj...Pizza sounded a bit better today, than yesterday, but decided it would be a waste of gas to go get it..That was the ONLY thing keeping me from eating pizza today.

maria777 on 06/27/2008:
I think my calories were higher than yours today....so you are not alone.

rlovell on 06/28/2008:
congrats on the new job, HOP! i hope that things are well with you. thank you for your thoughts on my binge...you seem to have yours under control. just remember to eat some protein, eat veggies and drink water (all of the last things i ever want to do when i binge)...and you are right about my food groups. sometimes i think i am not eating enough good fats or carbs. i may need to work that whole grain cereal back into my routine. xoxo

maria777 on 06/28/2008:
Can we say bloated? Look at my yesterday's entry of how many calories I had which also included a LOT of sodium!!!

thinnsidenotout on 06/28/2008:
Oh goodness.....that is NO fun! Get plenty water to fluch your system and careful today....

Beth201P on 06/28/2008:
Drink that water today for sure. Enjoy your weekend. ((Hugs))

Jen40 on 06/28/2008:
Oh I get sodium bloat too. :O( Yuck. Have a great weekend!

(count calories/exercise/relaxing thoughts!)
Weight: 125.4

evening edit: dinner: HUGE salad (the size bag that has eight servings!!!!) with dressing and a microwavable amy's meal. oh, and a yogurt. gotta get that dairy in! just kidding, i know i eat way too much!

all for 530 calories!

total calories: 1380. yes. i'm on the ball.

exercise was iffy. i was tired out. i still did 3 miles back in my slow pace. i'm not upset though.

breakfast: cereal,fruit,milk: 230 :)

snack: NONE - not enough water either but that's ok i'll make up later.

lunch: LARGE iced coffee, large apple: 200. went out to lunch with another coworker today who i usually go for coffee with when we have the time!

snack: ceral, milk, 3 small plums: 260 at most.

i must have something satisfying later - probably a south beach pizza with tons of veggies. the south beach brand is high in salt (bad) but does have tons of fiber.

2nd snack: 3 more plums...90 and a yogurt 70

total: 850

Progress as of today: 9.6 lbs lost so far, only 10.4 lbs to go!

legcramps on 06/26/2008:
Hey, you sound like you're in high spirits - keep it up!! I'm glad you're having such great days! LOVE the iced coffee, especially on warm days. I've been drinking iced capps a LOT lately because it's been so warm out, and I need to cut that out but they are SO good! Maybe i'll try an iced coffee instead of the cappaccino. Have an awesome day!

WI3 on 06/26/2008:
I am almost to the point where I am ready to check out the yoga again. I think it would be a great indoor activity especially on a rainy day. Have a good one!

thinnsidenotout on 06/26/2008:
Sounds good so far...Keep it up!

selina on 06/26/2008:
Ok, now, don't skip those snacks. they are important to keep you tied up until the next meal and you won't feel ravenous and won't therefore binge. Have a good day!

maria777 on 06/26/2008:
Looks like you have got a GOOD PLAN!!! YAYYYY! You are on track good now!

thinnsidenotout on 06/26/2008:
I wanna pizza!!!!!..... Have been thinking about getting a PaPa Murphy's Thin DeLight for supper..Out of energy to fix anything before Ben's ballgame, but may change my mind too... Just undecided.....

I'll check in on ya tomorrow : o )

thinnsidenotout on 06/26/2008:
Well, didn't get the pizza....Going to go fix something quick & easy..... PaPa Murphy's is a Take-n-Bake Pizza Chain... Don't know if you have one in yer neck of the woods or not...I LOVE the Chicken Garlic Club on a DeLight Crust (super thin). As for calories, probably not much less, but like to think it might help.....

selina on 06/27/2008:
Hi HOP! I'm like you, I love salads! I can eat a 8 serving package on my own, as well. Salad is good for you. Can you do me a favor? Can you somehow find out how many calories there are in one 8-serving bag of salad? The reason I ask is that someone told me the other day that you can put on weight if you eat too much salad - considering that that's what cows do. Of course, I was indignant, but that made me wonder if there was some truth to that....

(count calories/exercise/relaxing thoughts!)
Weight: 125.4

although i haven't updated my weight, it is still high because of three days of unrestrained eating :) haha, it's around 128. i'm not worried and soon it will go down a bit.

late edit: From about noon till 9pm today I had an EXPLOSIVE amount of energy. It is because it is hard for me to believe that music/education will NOT be a major part of my life anymore after Friday and that the end is near. This is a major change for me and it is surreal. but it is a great change, i'm exicted, just hard to believe it's happening.

snack before my 6 mi walk (how else could i get rid of some of my insane energy today!? the walk was actually a piece of cake!) regular small granola bar 100 cal.

dinner: what I wanted with a salad and fruit. that amy's pizza with no sauce ROCKED. you should try it. microwavable amy's pizza the one without sauce. calories 550 total.

total calories: 1310 calories. not bad my friends!

of interest is that I've been trying to stay more organized and keep my room neater than usual. it feels good to come home and leave things very neat. I am not a messy person, but being even cleaner than normal is making a positive difference.

I'm having a really good day. It was a 1/2 day at school and a coworker and I had a wonderful chat and enjoyed ourselves for lunch. We are really similiar, despite being around THIRTY years different in age :) We have similiar values and views and it was fun to talk to her as we never have free time at the same time during the work week other than days like today! :) yay!

breakfast: cereal, fruit, milk: 260

snack: none! Kept very busy and had breakfast as late as possible so I lasted pretty much till lunch.

lunch: LARGE iced coffee, apple: 170 at most.

snack: cereal/fruit/milk 230 :)

total so far: 660. wow low! I know EXACLTY what I want for dinner. An Amy's microwave pizza, the one with no sauce. and some TASTY veggies too. I'm willing to drive multiple places till i find it. life is good right now.

I may have less than 1200 calories today. Every once in a while it's not a big deal as long as it doesn't become habit, which it won't!

Progress as of today: 9.6 lbs lost so far, only 10.4 lbs to go!

thinnsidenotout on 06/25/2008:
YAY!!!!!!.... Happy for you in that you had a wonderful chat & eating was healthy...

Good Evening!

thinnsidenotout on 06/25/2008:
Ha Ha!.....RE: Trading the scale to agree with me..I think that that little bear was saying that she was on the scale that she had traded for (a new one). FINALLY she had a scale that agreed with her... The scales (same ones as day 1) & I ARE in agreeance that I should give the poor thing a break and weigh less each week. So it doesn't have to work so hard to get to the higher numbers...I had '205' in my head the last couple days...That I should be @ it this morning and I was.... I shall see the <200 real soon..I can just feel it...

uncgrad2001 on 06/25/2008:
Actually, the chinese food kicked my butt!!! My body does not want that in my system ever again! I'm gonna have to make a better choice next time.

And I love eggs!!! I would eat them for lunch too. But in the morning, I eat it like a sandwich. I'm not a big bread person, but when I eat it like that it keeps me fuller longer. I eat breakfast around 5:45-6am, and I eat my first snack around 10:30. It works for me...hence why I'm scared to try anything else!!

rlovell on 06/25/2008:
sugar free jell-o...love it! hope you are well. glad to see you are back on track and know your stomach is feeling much better about that! xoxo

maria777 on 06/25/2008:
Glad you are having a good day! Menu looks real good! Yayyyy!!!

Jen40 on 06/25/2008:
I like microwave pizza. Unfortunately, I love ALL pizza!!! Lol Enjoy yours.

sweetpea1977 on 06/25/2008:
I can kinda relate to your feelings to your career change. I spent seven years in my career before I decided to quit. Before I left, it didnt seem real. As the day got closer, I started to panic. I wondered if I was making the right choice, but at the same time I was excited for what the future had in store for me.

Well, I am happy to say that I am so much happier now than I ever was at that job! I think you will do just fine!

Anyway, good job on the food choices! I hope you found your pizza. She makes pretty good food and is worth the extra gas money! :o)

mmuraro on 06/25/2008:
great job sounds like a good day in HOP's land. xoxo

mmuraro on 06/26/2008:
I am glad you had a good day, but I am exactly like you and need to work on that too. I am very ups and downs. I was like that throughout the diet, if you remember and now seems like i am being like that towards J. He has no idea, but sometimes i feel i am the queen of the castle, 'the perfect woman" as he said about me last night , and he thinks i am pretty much always like this, but sometimes i don't see a happy ending to this (just like i didnt see it for the diet at times) and will be down and cry and have arguments with my friends about how awful me and my life are... i really need to balance this! xo

selina on 06/26/2008:
Great entry HOP! I'm so happy that we are both(and many others in DD) going back to the swing of things, diet wise.... changes in life/career are good for you: it keeps you fresh and energized, always on the lookout. If you can afford it, just keep looking for your passion. Once you find it, you'll know, i can say for sure! In my case, i found the arts only at 40, after going through translation/interpretation, international economics and a lot of anguish in between. As I said, when you find your passion in life, you'll know it!

selina on 06/26/2008:
Personal chef!! HAHA! Unfortunetely, I can't take the credit for the dinner last night - i love eating out because you can try so many different things and loving it. Last night's case was grilled fennel...

maria777 on 06/26/2008:
Good on the calories! Glad you are back on track! Have a wonderful day, Horn of Plenty!!! Big smile to you!

thinnsidenotout on 06/26/2008:
TADA ~ 6 miles....Felt good I bet..... Congratulations on heading into a new chapter of your life....
