Still sick a hair still skipping gym it sucks but I just can't get sicker I can't afford to feel worse so I am off gym until this cold / cough goes away.

5:30am Home: goji tea with stevia 0 cal Work: coffee hopefully bc I have an early class that starts at 7am 

8:30am Coffee 50 Banana 120, honey and wrap 100 with cranberries 50 and almond butter 200, more coffee 80.

10:30am candies 50 and salt and vinegar almonds 100

11am - one more serious chocolate before lunch. 100 (still giving in - another coworker brought in more chocolate!)

600 1450 after lunch and prob yes to gym

150 before gym!!!

1600.....better.....

No more eating loads of chocolate but whenever I say no more it mean a more ! We shall see someone is selling them and I can see myself easily buying them as they are conveniently right inside my trailer

Going to gym tonight bc tomorrow is probably a snow day and then i can be home all day tomorrow resting again. there are chances that work is closed tomorrow, so i'll make the effort to work out tonight in hopes that tomorrow is a snow day at home and i can rest more then..

Forgot what I ate after gym ?

I am fighting popcorn cravings these days...not the cheap kind you can pop in a microwave but the kind you pop in a pot with LOTS of oil. Glad you are feeling better, HOP. Try to take it easy getting back into your regular schedule.

Home Snack 1: Kombucha did the trick thankfully 70

Work Snack 2: coffee with tasty milk 50, chocolate 200.

Mid Morning Breakfast: wrap 100 with pb 150, banana 130

12:30pm Healthy Lunch: but easy bc fell asleep last night at 4:30pm after taking cold medicine: healthy shepherd’s pie by Amy’s, lettuce, little bit leftover seaweed salad and some pretzels 400??

Snack: clementine 50

1300….more sushi tonight and miso soup. 550 more but had a more unhealthy type of roll...shrimp tempura (fried shrimp) with avocado sushi 550-650. is still quite all right. better off eating a little bit more while having a cold anyways.

grand total today is 2050.

Happy New Year DD friends !!!! Thank you Webmaster !  Isn't it wonderful how many people are using this site after it's been down like a couple weeks!? We love it!

3day average: (def high for not exercising): 2250, but still within decent limits. really i should go to gym tomorrow, but, i realize i can't if i am still with this cold - which i will be. i guess i'll just have to wait until i'm better - rule of thumb is you have to be well below the neck to gym to gym....and my cough is below the neck in my lungs obviously. ah, we'll see. just too lazy to cook today like i had planned.

2018 New Years Day:

total today is 2100...been eating more, especially due to the fact i was taking an online course throughout the 3day weekend and not exercising. i've run outta steam and do not plan to even cook today like i had planned. instead, taking nighttime cold medicine and bed early. i prob won't go to gym tomorrow, taking extended time off gym to feel better. maybe i'll cook tomorrow night, i think...

I'm doing this online 10 hour safety course. its taking much longer than 10 hours - taking me most of the holiday weekend. It's ok - i'm sick and nothing more i can do than relax on the couch! So, let me get back to it, I'm almost done! I have about 4 hours left and already completed 6 hours. I hope to be done actually by EARLY afternoon - def before 2pm! I'd even prefer to be done by noon - but depends how fast i can read, click, not get disracted, and how long i can sit on the couch without getting up! lol...

I finished the course at 1:10pm and even did laundry also ... just need to put it away. I got so sick of the course, i decided to see if the laundry room was empty and to my surprise it stayed empty besides for myself of course and nobody came down at all while i was doing laundry! Was wonderful to be the only one in there, getting in & getting out without having to talk to anyone!

I'm going out to the store to buy a few more things to fight this cold. Then, i'm picking up some Miso soup and I'm coming home to have it as well as to cook. No gym yet, i'll wait till tomrrow because i'm just NOT 100%. I may even have to wait till after tomorrow if i want to get rid of the cold....yes.

I may actually skip working out until the cold is fully gone. but i do know also another thing - i am going to be getting even busier as the winter goes by - because i'm taking a course that starts January 23 and is only 1x per week lasting till early APRIL! ...that's a sorta impactful commitment, especially if that means to balance now 4x a week of being out of my apartment after work/weekends. It's just a lot for the Winter.

And a lot with all the job location changes and commuting. I am working just to feel better - another reason to wait to go to gym when i'm feeling much better - although it also means AGAIN my strength is DECREASING. I hate missing workouts, it truly screws up any hopes to actually get stronger because i'm constantly sliding backwards and having to recoop. ah well.

Over the past couple weeks that DD was down, I logged about 2100 per week for those two weeks (sorta high, i have been indulging) on calories while being sick with a cold. I might have to visit the dr today to get something stronger than the cold meds I'm taking...since it's been around 2 weeks now. I'm just gonna buy more cold medicine at the pharmacy.

I feel your pain -- my online CE for loan originator is 8 hours and took almost twice as long to complete. Good luck!

PS Hope you feel better soon! I had a nasty cold for about 2 weeks. Now the husband has it.

yes, this cold has been 2 weeks. i hope it'll pass. i know i don't need to see a doctor - that i need rest. it's good when i'm just home but as soon as i add in working and commuting and gym, all those extras bring me down again! lol

also, it also took me well over the 10hrs to complete - more like 15...

but it's pretty much still better than going outside your place to a class all day.

That sounds like a miserable cold...I've heard of a few people who ended up with a sinus infection after their colds in December....rest is best. Do you take a multiple vitamin? Probably wouldn't hurt.

Before starting up with soon an added class every Tuesday night until April...I am hoping this cold ends by weekend. Starting to even feel fat but that could also be PMS lol I do feel moody....

Happy Friday ! Made it thru a whole week at new job site!

Wasn't easy tho everyone was nice and welcoming which was great.

Had extra kombucha - 110 cal - I don't think I've pooped since Wednesday and still didn't. Body is a bit out of wack....I THINK I MIGHT STOP HAVING KOMBUCHA IN MORNINGS.

Breakfast: coffee 50, banana 120, bite of coffee cake brought in by coworker 50 - 220

Snack: wrap 100, cashew butter 200, sf jelly. 300

10:30am: almonds 50

...horrible gas and bloating bc i have to poop but not going to in this trailer bc my body will not allow it anyways...

My trailer "office" is having a lunch today: 

1650-1700 after lunch and dessert = decent and having some caffeine energy drink soon before picking up the Rx and gym - dr ordered wrong Rx a second time so I should have just gotten it yesterday ....and paid more since I get my $ back anyways ...my own $ from my reimbursement fund but I get it back and the difference isn't substantial enough that I should have just taken the Rx while I was at the store yesterday instead of needing to go again today and probably with the same error not fixed so no fix to the price ....no biggie just waiting for bus to go home !! And decided to do gym today and Sunday I feel much better after taking daytime cold medicine

dinner: 350 dunkin donuts, extras 300 (choc covered cranberries)

2450, ouch.

weekly average still good: 2140, ok.

I hope your bathroom problems resolve themselves. I completely understand where you're coming from. Does the trailer not have a real bathroom? Or should I say, a bathroom with real plumbing?

6 dav average is still decent at 2085....can't wait to get back to the gym to work on my muscles...and for some reason, in the back of my mind, i still hope to one day be a court officer. at least i can get used to (i hope without being sick all the time) public transportation. it's so much healthier than my old commute.

my bathroom routine is off bc of waking up earlier and having to be out earlier, i may have to stop drinking kombucha in the mornings...but we'll see if my body works itself out...

Dinner: lots of buttery flavored pretzels 300, chinese in a tiny amount of sauce 200? i hope not more!, and 1 egg white and 1 one whole egg 100. total here approx 600.

total today is 2250, hopefully not more. must start to just get back on track / go to gym as soon as i feel better....it's not good to go if you have body aches and feel sick. it's just better to rest! i know from experience.

the veggies also included nicely cooked spinach in with noodles in a garlic sauce...just amazing stuff. i tried to not eat too many noodles, but ate the bread! lately i eat the carbs, as they provide energy and also calm me down with the gas lol.

Yes, i have to skip the gym bc i have a slight cold and not energized. It would be stupid to use any extra energy at the gym and then just end up being fully sick. I'll return to gym probably Friday, I prefer Thursday, but it might be difficult with work Friday...depends how I feel tomorrow AM.

It's stupid to go to gym when on the verge of possibly getting sick - just to end up getting sick...not worth getting sick.

yes, it's just a lot of change to get used to at once...for me it's a lot, some people deal with change better than others. it's particularly something difficult for me, but i'm doing it...and hoping still for court officer down the road. lower pay, less of the desk job, as i feel better and legs get stronger, i'm hopeful i'll be able to do it.

not adjusted at all, and feeling under weather trying to not get any worse. very lethargic. it's a lot to get used to - it used to be very simple basically my garage to the work office door.

now, commute easily includes a mile plus of walking which i'm thankful for, just not used to, at all.

For stomach acid.....sleep on your left side, I start by taking a drink of water to wash it back down...then 4 mylanta chalky type tablets...at the first sign...don't let it get started...treat it right away. Eating a little something in the evening helps me...now Denny on the other hand can't eat too late....you will start seeing a pattern. My mom used to say to suck on a hard candy to sweeten the acid...I used to laugh at her,.....but now it makes sense to me...wish I hadn't laughed.

1:30pm lunch: leftover Italian bread small amount 100-150, leftOver grilled chicken 200, leftover mozzarella cheese 50? Small amount, popcorn 150 total lunch 550.

3-3:30pm Snacking / starting towards early dinner and bed bc i am really tired just thinking about tomorrow - 150 pita chips and my own roasted cauliflower around 150

5pm light meal: light ice cream, almond butter, honey 300.

2000.

2day average: 2050 per day, excellent.

Very tired so i may take a sleeping pill to fully knock me out soon - until the morning - bc it's been a long weekend and i really need some quality sleep right now.

Ricky took me on a test run of my new commute we also got breakfast and snacks along the way total time out 8am-11:30 am so it's good we did   it early.... Now doing a bit of laundry and relaxing and cleaning hamster cage !!!! Plan is to relax and bed early ! I will have a totally different commute tomorrow !

a friend gave me them as a gift because last year we went to Texas for her bachelorette and on the flight we got those and loved them! She found them in the Target superstore and thought to give me them as a gift!

yes, they are definite trouble...but in a portion of about the 4 or maybe 5 of the mini ones, they can be excellent before a workout...just not all the time LOL....yes, they are trouble ;)

Good idea to try out the new commute. I hope that this works out for you! I myself would rather leave the driving to someone else, but the time consumption may be something you'll need to reconcile. I used to take the train with a guy who would watch the morning news on his laptop every morning!

Agree 100% with all and thank you for the well wishes, sorta low on energy now and will have to comment on everyone's entries a bit later this week....just wanna rest now, a bit anxious but also exhausted...and just want to rest before tomorrow. I now have to be out the door by 6:15am during the week, i may be able to go even a hair later, but for tomorrow i'll try to be out around actually 6:10-6:15am so i can be a hair early & not right on the dot at 7:30am is my new time.

meaning i start work at 7:30am and work till 4pm which is far better to end that early than what i had before 8-5.

anyways, the commute will be a hair longer, but will go fast. thank you for all the positive thoughts.

before rushed gym 2 bananas and coffee over time 300

5:30pm dinner Chinese food rice 200, shrimp and veg in sauce 400

a Big beer and chocolates later in the night

 

Around 2100 Saturday maybe less

Then city 2hrs earlier to meet earlier than originally planned with friends but also not staying out too late anymore only in city till no later than 10:30pm to get home no later than 12:30am tonight .... Good to calculate totals - now to get to gym without a shower and fast

I'm glad you enjoyed my pics, this was my year of the "final hurrah" before getting into the NYPD academy....as I had originally planned ;)

but it's been fun and i plan to still enjoy life...but without the vacations.
