Breakfast after a nice long sleep: fiber one and almond milk 200, chocolates 170. 370.

Snack: few salami slices, 1.5 servings pop chips, naval orange. 380

750, decently healthy...

Granola bar doing errands 100

Healthy lunch 1/2 burger and seaweed chips 250, regular potato chips 250, bean salad 100. Total 550

Laundry done :-)

Snack before gym granola bars and some energy drink 200

1650..... Gearing up to read and gym, laundry later and some cooking later but not going crazy doing lots

Grand total 2150. Excellent !

2275 2 day not bad! .......

I have sweet potatoes to roast, spaghetti squash to cook, a chicken to buy, fruit to buy, bananas, de more veggies to buy, more salami to buy bc it lasts a long time, and maybe start making dressing soon....yes gonna make a dressing so I'll make sure I have all the ingredients - Ricky's had given me the recipe and i can use it for beans and veggies and it tastes great - instead of vinegar it uses lemon juice :)

Salami is wonderful.....I ordered some roasted sweet potatoes from schwans....they are very good....but I think I like baking fresh ones even more....very good for you!

Good Morning all :)

Breakfast: fiber 1 cereal 150, almond milk 20, honey 30, fiber one cookie 120, kombucha 50. Total here: 370, very nice.

Early lunch: half burger 100, chick pea salad 100, potatoes 150, wrap 100, persimmon fruit 100, pretzels 120...

3 yummy chocolates around 210

Sautéed spinach and pepper like 3/4 lb 250? and like half of Ricky's Arby's fries 300? 550 no meat bc I was just eating light and didn't order anything else ...

Coffee and chocolate new Godiva stuff 200

2000...

Total today 2400

Did walk a long walk though with ricky well over an hour --------------------------------

Reason for a fiber filled breakfast is I don't seem to be able to use the bathroom enough during the weeek especially with this new job. Still getting used to it all. Have had the job 1 month already. -------------------------

Slept like 9 hours and feel good. Had breakfast and sitting on couch reading a magazine right now. After that, plans to shower & go out for a walk with Ricky.m

Will also clean hamster cage after shower. Laundry and any food shopping is for tomorrow.

Be careful with the fiber -- I got to the point where I was eating so much fiber that my body was having a LOT of trouble moving things along. See if the change works, though, first. Maybe you need a softener... or just more water?

I wanted to comment on your entry from a few days ago, about focusing on your current career and not getting too ahead of yourself with the court officer ambition, but Bear beat me to it.

Yes I'll try to focus on current career - which is for me very difficult to focus on.... and try to keep improving on exercise which for winter really means trying to get back on an exercise schedule )

I finally tried flavored seltzer and stevia.... omg you are right it is delicious!!!!

Maybe a big cup of coffee will move things along? Sounds like early onset IBS?

I drank kombucha so all was good today - it's just nerves at work and if I'm busy after work ....never a good balance and with new job it's been worse. Thankfully when the weekend comes I poop easily and often.

Actually I had kombucha which gave me diarrhea today sorry tmi but I felt so good with everything out.

lunch bigger but extremely healthy: lemon potatoes, salad, egg, small piece of chicken 650-700 with some blueberries for a snack

And more chocolate so 1300 Goal is to do legs at gym tonight - legs only - after going home for a snack dinner!

Dinner: popcorn 200, turkey burger around 200-250, orange 50, some roasted squash 50 at least. total here: 550, decent.

1850 after tasty dinner...gonna go out for exercise..do what i can out there, see how i feel...can't keep slacking till the end of time, seems what is best is that i eat dinner before the gym now, since i have to stop at home first anyways....and still can have a snack afterwards...working on how i'll keep the gym going!

gonna try for most of my workout - legs and abs...should be at gym by 6:30pm, will leave by 7:30pm

Cannot wait to get back to gym, but not if it's gonna get me very sick again...then i just have to wait...i'm pretty much prob not exercising this week...not back to 100% yet.

Also, i am nervous to even be able to balance gym and work this winter bc i have the class too.

Gym needs to be dialed back a bit in terms of how much i do there and how long i stay there. I hope to actually cut out like 30-60 minutes so i'm only there one hour and not longer anymore. Planning to cut out any duplicate types of weights exercises where i use one machine to work a muscle group and later use another machine for the same muscles. Will try to cut back. Maybe i'll even retain all strength - we'll see...

either way, gotta dial down to stay healthy.

I still in the back of my mind think Court Officer is more a "basic" job that may be better for me than this estimating one, despite a huge salary cut for the first like 5 years. 5 years isn't that much...i need peace of mind. but for now, i gotta forget court officer job, because there's no current test for it and not an option right now of for next few.

It's true....you can only deal with one day at a time...and that is this day. Tomorrow never comes...it's always today. The way I have always made plans for the future was to write down what I want for the future...and then write down what I can do this day to help me get there....then I would write down what I need to do in future days to make that happen...in this area I would research what needs to be done to achieve it and go from there....plan the steps and also keep an eye open for opportunities that may pop up. If it is meant to be it will happen... In the meantime....while dealing with today...I would throw myself into knowing all there is to be known about my current job so that it will be easier to deal with...and happy bosses give good recommendations in the future. Being 100% involved in the current job makes the day go by so much faster. You can do it.

Went to work was much better feeling - other people were out sick last week and one remained out sick today - seems we all have something similar. I'll be skipping gym until I am very close to 100% without a cough.

May not be able to always log in at work like I used to and getting more distracted during commutes and at home ....still here

Ugh, sounds like work is a meeting place for germs -- I agree 100% that the gym (another place for germs to meet) should wait until you are absolutely 100% as well.

Had a really late breakfast of oatmeal that I didn't finish 50 with dried fruit and nuts 250? And a thigh Icelandic yogurt 150 - still with parents gonna go home soon after lunch Back to my apt.. 450 I guess it's good I didn't stuff the rest of the oatmeal down my throat ....

Snacks before dinner: fruit 200 at most

Dinner: veg salad with small with olive oil 100, also chickpeas 150, wanton soup sorta big size and very large wantons all noodle and small amount fried noodles 700?

Total today is fine, 1900.

Your welcome ! If not hungry have a taste of chocolate. - maybe small individually wrapped 1-2 Pieces that are only like 60 cal each and have with tea herbal or selzter ?? Or some berries or a fruit ....and something to drink - as a preference I sometimes prefer the chocolate to satisfy me lately

I really wouldn't be surprised if you now have pneumonia.....lots of fluids...and vitamins.

Yeah... see if you can go back today, get them to do a fluid test on what you cough up and a culture. Pneumonia can spread to other organs. Not just a fluid/vitamin thing.

Night sweats tell me that your body is still fighting something very hard --probably burning up a lot of calories too.

Do you have the holiday off tomorrow? That would be nice, to have an extra day to heal. Don't go to work until you are better!

Love the dark chocolate. Unfortunately 50-100 calories is such a small piece, that I just tend to avoid it for the most part.

Was getting extremely dizzy in shower so called parents and dad came to pick me up this morning and now I'll be at my parents house for the weekend - just wanting to sleep and lay in bed right now.

Had the night sweats soaking my clothes twice last night so maybe I was dehydrated from it all?

I'm glad you won't be alone this weekend. I'm guessing dehydration -- and that your body is working hard to fight the bronchitis.

I hope that someone will take care of Hammy while you're gone. Probably just as well, as you don't want to get him sick as well.

Take care of yourself -- do what you have to do to get better. Everything else can wait.

From what I know night sweats are actually a fever and fever is usually from infection....I'm also glad you aren't alone.....you may be running a fever and just because pneumonia didn't show up on the xrays does not mean you don't have it...it may have been in the very early stages......keep hydrating.

Dad picked up like a thousand ready made food products along with some things I can cook and prepare myself - so I'm set to stay home for a few days

Just resting and sleeping lots right now - very low energy.

I know I'll be fine :) just I guess I was pushing myself too much - the gym i guess next time when I have a cough I'll stay out of the gym till I'm all better completely - but I am surstill this had to do with the change of commute and walking in the freezing cold air breathing it in first thing in the morning for at least 10 min everyday- looking forward to getting fully better ....and I guess taking it easy this winter unless I want to be getting bronchitis a second time ... ah well.

It's good I have nobody to look after here at home bc all I am doing is eating and sleeping ....

Gym routine is gonna have to be adjusted this winter bc for some reason it's become too much with my new commute.

Have you heard about co-living? It's a thing here in CA due to high property taxes and commute times. Basically it is rooms rented like apartments and then shared catered dinners for less than an apartment, or about the same but a little more community. https://www.common.com
