I just love when I am so busy at work I don't have time to post, today almost got by too.

The weekend was really uneventful. Saturday Steve and I watched more SVU (I'm so addicted) while BF and his best friend went to the eye doctor and to Sam's. He said both places were packed. His eye appointment was at 12:00 he didn't get home until almost 4:30. I'm so glad I didn't go. Saturday night we ordered Chinese food, I had two spring rolls and some General Tso's chicken. It was pretty good.

Sunday I was cheering for the Bronco's only to be disappointed like every other fan. Oh well, I enjoy college football more so it wasn't too bad. I did make home made pretzels and ate too many. I also made roasted butternut squash soup, which was devine. We had pot roast for dinner.

Monday I went to the WW meeting and I gained my .6 pounds back, but I'm not putting it down, because I know it will be less next Monday. I like weighing in on Mondays better than Thursday because it is the start of the week and also because it is an earlier time. This Monday meeting was packed as well, just not used to that and so many outspoken people. I guess I just feel that my weight loss journey is personal and I feel it is better to write out my feelings, than share it with perfect strangers. You all read what you want, you aren't forced to sit here and listen to my rants. Maybe it is a self esteem issue I can't say for sure, maybe I will work on it.

Monday B: Slim Fast

L: 1/2 corned beef sandwich, grapes

S: yogurt, 15 almonds

D: roast beef sandwich and butternut squash soup (leftovers)

S: honey mustard pretzels

Tuesday, getting ready for another dumping of snow 4-10 inches predicted this time. Will it ever go away?

B: maple brown sugar oat meal

L: 1/2 corned beef sandwich, grapes, clementine

S: yogurt and almonds

D: BF is making parmasan encrusted chicken, hope it turns out good.

Looking forward to my next day off....I love holidays Presiden't  DAY!!

Discouraged to say the least!! Stupid scale! Oh well, I stayed on program and counted points so I don't feel too bad. I could drink more water and exercise more, I will try to work that into this weekend. I am changing my weigh in day to Monday, that just makes since to me. Besides the Thrusday WW meeting isn't until 7:00 and I don't get home until almost 8:00. that makes for a later than I like dinner. Monday's meeting is at 5:30 so that will be better for me. I can go coming home from work and Monday is never a little girl day.

BF and I carpool to work, he drives to his workplace and then I drive to my workplace. I drive back to pick him up and he drives back home. On the little girl days we of course go and get her and spend the evening with her. Last night we had spaghetti. I started cooking and BF finished it, I left to go to the WW meeting. It was packed. I was amazed at how many people were there. I am going agaon on Monday.

B: slim fast

S: yogurt and almonds

L: 1/2 corn beef sandwich, 2 clementines

I only ate 1 clementine will have the other as an afternoon snack.

I found this picture, face to a name!!

Here is me, my BF and the little girl. We were at Bass Pro Shop right after Christmas.

Hope you all have a nice weekend. IP

Feeling nervous as another weigh in is tonight and I have no idea of how good or bad it will be, not stepping on the scale everyday has kept me from getting frustrated over the constant fluctuations. BF said he has lost ten pounds and that I should be right there too, because I haven't been snacking as much as he has. We will see in a few hours.

I was hungry before dinner and had a few crackers and hummus. Dinner last night was a hamburger patty, tomato soup and asparagus, which was pretty good considering we have cut back on bread!

B: slim fast shake

S: yogurt and 15 almonds

L: 1/2 corned beef sandwich, colbyjack cheese and a clementine

S: apple

Tonight is the little girl night and I think BF is still taking her to Steak and Shake for the promised milk shake. I am tempted to get one, as I did not use my flex points for the week, and I deserve a treat. Dinner tonight is supposed to be spaghetti and I will eat this after my WW meeting.

No huge weekend plans as it is just us and we are low on cash, as all bills are due at the end of the month so I can see some relaxation coming. SVU marathon on Saturday and the Super Bowl on Sunday. I am so glad we aren't going to have a pig out fest. BF said he would grill steaks Saturday night and we will probably just have hummus and homemade soft pretzels Sunday.

Life is good today. IP

So not working yesterday, I missed breakfast. I didn't get up until 9:30. I hate an early lunch of the 1/2 corned beef sandwich, colby jack cheese and I also had a few crackers. For a snack I had some more crackers and hummus at about 3:30. BF came home and started dinner and left to go to the taxman. He did take the little girl only because she wanted a milk shake and I do not keep that stuff in the house. He said they went through Rally's drive thru but their milk shake machine was down, so little girl will have to wait. He told her ont he way on Thursday we would stop at Steak & Shake and get her one. Oh great!! I will have to have the will power kick in. I will leave them at home sipping on the milk shake while I go to my WW meeting. I am always nervous about this because I left the scale in the garage so I don't know if it is good or bad news. I only hope it will be good, as I have yet to go over my points allowance.

Steve had a bad day, he had an upset stomach and barfed all over the living room floor. I am amazed at how much he could hold in his stomach. I guess he was all right after, because he started to eat again. He tries so hard, but I don't think he is the brightest dog there is.

B: maple and brown sugar oatmeal

S: yogurt and 15 almonds

L; 1/2 corned beef sandwich, grapes

S: string cheese

D: is hamburger patty, soup and I think BF said he was going to grill the asparagus, not sure.

Yesterday sitting at home I got the old feelings of depression creeping up on me. I have been taking my meds, but still feel so down, I'm not sure how to take this. Maybe I'm just homesick, I talked to my mom today, so hopefully I will get better in time.

Have a great night everyone. IP

Friday after work, we stopped and picked up the little girl. I made pork fried rice with lean boneless porkchops, water chestnuts and bean sprouts. It was very tasty. Little girl was not feeling well and she stayed on the sofa with BF. We watched the Disney channel most of the night. I know more than I want to about ANT Farm, Austin & Allie, Dog with a Blog and Good Luck Charlie. I went to bed about 10:00, they were close behind me.

Saturday morning we had to get up early to take Steve to his doctor's appointment and wouldn't you know that little stinker crapped in the back seat of the car, it stank so bad. It was so cold and the roads were bad, it was miserable. BF and little girl took Steve into the doctor while I cleaned out the back of the car. On the way home we stopped at McDonald's for breakfast. I could have made a healthier choice, but I opted for a 502 caolorie steak biscuit and I am OK with this, as I shoveled snow for almost an hour and burned most of it off. Little girl was feeling better so her and BF went on their daddy daughter shopping spree while I stayed home wih Steve. As I was putting another log on the fire an ember popped out and burned a hole in the carpet. I was pissed, that was brand new carpet. I had cheezits for lunch. Not a good option for dinner, but we had pizza. I had 2 slices and a salad, well below my points range. I would have normally had about 4 pieces of pizza, so again I was OK with my choice. BF brought me home peanut butter M&Ms to cheer me up after I burned a hole in the carpet. Really??? You are supposed to help me!!

It started off snowing Sunday morning. I had two pieces of toast and iced coffee for breakfast. For lunch I made a chicken, brocolli croissant ring, it was really good. I also made a batch of blueberry muffins, I only had two. For dinner I made meat loaf, salad and green beans, again I stayed within my point/calories. BF and I had to shovel snow again and we were out for almost an hour doing that. Little girl left at 6:00. I finished dishes and laundry and tried to keep warm. About 8:00 I caved and had one serving of M&M's counted out in my quarter cup measuring cup. This had me using the rest of my points and three flex points. Oh but they were so good!

Last night I was up at 12:30 taking Steve out and the wind was out of control. Let's just stay I thought I closed the door, but when I got up again at 4:50 and went downstairs, the front door was wide open and the downstairs felt like a refrigerator. I guess I didn't close the door hard enough and the wind blew it open sometime in the night. BF and I didn't hear it and it hadn't gotten cold upstairs yet so I can't say how long it was open. And the ferocious Steve did nothing to warn us, not a bark or anything. I was just thinking I could have been dead if I was still living in my neighborhood back in Oklahoma. Scary thought still.

BF texted me this morning and said he was taking his W2 to the tax man tomorrow at 5:30. I'm like uh...what about the little girl. He just says Oh, she can stay with you. This I hate. He could have asked first!!! He just assumes I have nothing to do. Don't get me wrong, I love that little girl, but he just doesn't act right. I told him about it and he says I love you.

B: maple and brown sugar oatmeal

S: yogurt and 15 almonds

L: 1/2 corned beef sandwich, colby jack cheese, wheat berry bread, grapes, clementine

S: apple maybe

D: not sure BF said he was going to concoct a roasted mushroom and we have cauliflower we have to use, not sure of the protein.

Campus has already been closed for tomorrow due to the frigid cold, so I guess Steve and I will channel surf most of the day. I'm not getting out in subzero temperatures. I hope you all have a great week! IP

OK I am happy!! Weighed in at the WW meeting and the lady gave me folder back and said 4.8. I was assuming it was the accumulated total and I was ok, because that would have been an additional 2.6 pounds, but holy cow was I surpised when I saw 4.8 for the week. WOW!! I guess it works. I knew it did, I just somehow quit doing it when I start seeing progress. I have to thank my BF for cooking and packing my lunch, he has kept me OP this entire week. I ask him to keep doing it. Once again I am so very happy he cooks for me. I had a handful of pretzels before the WW meeting. BF had dinner waiting when I returned.

D: London broil and a baked sweet potato

B: oatmeal

L: 1/2 PB&J, yogurt, apple and clementine.

D: TBD but I think I am making pork fried rice (healthy version)

It is the little girl weekend and besides the daddy daughter shopping tomorrow we have nothing planned. Snow is predicted all weekend so it may just be movies and the fireplace.

I hope you all have a great weekend. IP

Left work, picked up BF, picked up little girl and went home. Took Steve out. BF showered and I entertained little girl. She watched the Disney channel and drew on paper and cut it out. BF cooked the cheddar chicken bake again with broccoli. It was good. Ran in and out of the frigid cold with Steve, luckily no accidents.

S: pretzels - 3 points

D: Cheddar Chicken bake - 15 points, broccoli

This morning it was 5 degrees, still hope they will close campus but no such luck. Steve does not like the cold, he shakes like a leaf outside, even with a sweater. It has snowed all day today, I am sick of it.

B: maple and brown sugar oatmeal

S: yogurt

L: 1/2 roast beef sandwich, colby jack cheese, wheat berry bread, grapes, clementime

I have the WW meeting tonight. BF said he felt like soup, will see what pans out. Work is cool! I miss my mom and Oklahoma today..

Have a great night. IP

After I got home from work I couldn't get warm. BF started me a fire and me and Steve enjoyed it. BF cooks hamburger patties and cabbage, a bunless burger. It tasted very good, until I calculated the points. The hamburger patties were 17 ACK!! good thing I ate a lot of cabbage. I was starving before dinner and had a handful of pretzels and after dinner I had a few animal crackers. I ended the day with 3 points left.

This morning at work I was in a mood where I didn't want to be there and thought about going home sick, but I always feel guilty and end up staying. It is still frigid outside. Today is the Little Girl day so I will try to entertain her for a few hours. BF said something about starting a scrapbook with her, but that usually doesn't last very long. He also said he was going to cook some chicken. I am so blessed he likes to cook.

B: maple and brown sugar oatmeal - 5

S: yogurt and 15 almonds - 5

L: 1/2 roast beef sandwich, colby jack cheese on honey wheat, grapes, apple

D: some kind of chicken???

Tomorrow is my second weigh in, I am very nervous, though I have basically stayed OP and I still have plenty of flex points left I just feel I didn't put enough effort into my weight loss journey. I may do some Leslie Sansone in the basement tonight I still need to drink more water, I wish it tasted better.

Have a great night.....

succulent grapes

creamy yogurt

crunchy almonds

crisp apple

tart orange

I just can't bring myself to get on the computer at home. I am on it all day at work.

Saturday BF went to work at 6:30, Steve and I remained in bed until 8:30. I got up and ate a blueberry bagel with cream cheese, we watched Law & Order SVU until BF came home with some fire wood.  YAY! I so missed my fireplace. We then went to Fligners and bought some meat that was on sale...yeah $140 bucks worth, but I did find out how to make prime rib. Bad thing we picked up a fresh loaf of French bread and ate most of it on the  way to Sams :(. I wasn't going to go, but caved and I'm happy to say I did not sample anything, except a vitamin chew. I think we spent over $100 buck there, hopefully we won't have to go back to the store for awhile.

For lunch I had a roast beef sandwich and some groove cheez-it crackers, dinner was beef and broccoli stir fry.

Sunday I slept unil 8:30 again.

B: yogurt and toast

L: roast beef sanwich, colby jack cheese

S: too much cheese and crackers (our football snack)

D: ribeye steak and southwest salad. I did dip into my flex points today, the cheese during the football game killed me!!

Monday, I sent BF to work and Steve and I slept until 9:30.

B: last blueberry bagel & cream cheese and iced coffee (BF bought skim milk and I'm not liking my iced coffee as much).

L: roast beef sanwhich, colby jack cheese and groove cheez it crackers.

After lunch I went to see Catching Fire, loved it! Can't wait for the next one. I love the hunger games. Then I went to get my hair cut and headed home. I was going to work on the kitchen floor, but there is still snow and salt on the front porch and it will do no good. I was waiting for BF to get home and then the garage door opens and in walks the little girl. WTH? I was not expecting her and I had plans to color the gray out of my hair. This pisses me off. BF says, it's a holiday, it's my day. Uh, hello, you didn't tell me anything! So BF goes and takes a shower and guess who is left entertaining the little girl. DAMN, sometimes I hate that, so much for making plans to color my hair. I told him in a text message I thought he was selfish for not telling me he was bringing her home. He says, it was a surprise. OK whatever...this kind of surprise sucks.

D: BF cooks boneless poikchops and because I'm mad they don't taste very good. He alsways has to put a rub on them, he just can't use salt and pepper for some reason!! He made corn and a salad!

I did go and do my hair upstairs and left them downstairs watching the Disney channel and then my idiot dog peed on the comforter again! WTH! So I ended up in the basement washing my comforter and doing a Leslie Sansone DVD. The little girl was down there too. She finally left at 8:30.

So this Tuesday I am back at work...it is bitter cold and I miss my mom today!!

B: Slim fast

L: roast beef sandwich with colby jack, clementime and grapes

S: Yogurt and 12 almonds.

I think BF said he was going to grill hamburger patties and cabbage and have tomato soup for dinner, we will see. He just texted and said he wasn't feeling well.

I hope you all have a warm evening! IP

I went to the WW meeting. I still can't stand them. ***I know that everyone is different****I know that everyone has their ideal body image****I know this!!!

BUT that doesn't mean I like it. I struggled to stay within my points and I fought with myself every day to not over eat and stay away from the sweets. In other words I stayed on plan (OP) and lost 2.2 pounds. I'm happy about that! What disgusts me is having others say, I pigged out one day and used all my flex points and I still lost 4.9 pounds. I just wanted to say STFU!! OMG. Another girl just started back OP and lost 7.4 pounds, really???? WTH.

I told my BF that if I didn't lose weight I would just eat whatever the hell I wanted, he says, don't give up. OK, but I still hate how it seems so easy for others...or it is how I perceive it. Another thing I cannot stand is how other WW members try and explan how the program works for the new people. I'd be like, why are you talking to me, it's obvious you haven't been following the plan. Yes it takes everything I have in my body and soul to stay at those meetings. Maybe I should change to the on-line option, but I wouldn't be accountable. Oh well, I will deal with it.

Should be a slow weekend no little girl. I will try again tomorrow to fix my kitchen floor that has been destroyed by the salt and snow being tracked in. BF works until noon and then he is going to SAM's club and Fligner's for groceries. He asked me to go, but NO. I don't want to be tempted by samples and great smelling food.

BF made chicken fajitas last night. The bread bun thing he bought was 130 calories. I had two with grilled chicken and onions and salad. It was a good dinner for after the WW meeting. I also ate the new marshmallow crunch brownie sample they gave us at the meeting, it was good. No sweets for me, I cannot just eat one, I will have the entire box please!!

B: quaker maple and brown sugar oatmeal

L: left over salad, yogurt, apple. I have drank 2 DDPs so far. I left my water bottle at home.

D: I think is pork roast BF took out of freezer and cabbage.

I hope you all have a great weekend! IP

I am also doing ww and I have never been able to eat my flex point, only sometimes use my activity points. If I did I would never lose. Only thing that works for me is I eat alot of fruit and way more veggies than I ever thought was possible. Good luck and don't get discouraged, your doing great.

allieoop on 01/17/2014:
Biscotti is right vent to us, you are doing good keep going to meetings if the public weigh in helps. You lost that is what counts

thinkpositive on 01/18/2014:
I know what you mean- I was never a WW meeting person but the weighing in part was helpful I went from going to meetings to doing the online thing & I never followed through. Not saying that would happen to you . Maybe just going to the weigh in? Or try another meeting. The reality is that we are all different & you can't compare yourself to others. We just have to figure out what works for us . Good job staying away from the sweets.

Maria7 on 01/18/2014:
Congrats on your lower number.

dana_johnson426 on 01/18/2014:
I have tried WW before. I would lose, gain, lose, maintain. I don't know why. I do know it works because I have seen people make it work. Quite a few of my friends weigh-in at the meeting and then leave. Congrats though on the weight loss.
