 BEAR!

Now peaceful it is to come here!   They are fighting & brawling in the fish forum.  Again.   LOL.  Started when some person in France made a general apology for being difficult & stubborn at times.   I never noticed & was aware of this poster.   Only one from France, most there are Brits.   So most of them blasted the French guy.   All I said was: you seem ok to me.   This fighting goes on and on because there are some controversial topics & more than one way of doing things. Some of these ppl are fanatics and convinced their way is the only way.

Getting really really tired of vegetable juice, but want 4 gms of potassium a day.   Walmart out of low sodium kind, which has twice the potassium & isn't all that much lower.   bought a small mortar and pestle & am grinding 100 mg potassium pills & adding 5 to each glass of juice to get to one gram.   Can't taste it at all.   Amazon had these huge ones. Can't imagine what ppl would grind a lot of other than nuts. Mine is for spices & pills.

Progress as of today: 20.8 lbs lost so far, only 4.2 lbs to go!

bearcountrygg on 09/20/2021:
LOL...fighting over how to raise fish....I can't even imagine. Did the Dr tell you to keep working on the potassium? Maybe now that it is up I wonder if it will stay there naturally....as long as you eat some potassium rich food...there are a lot of them.

Jacky82020 on 09/20/2021:
They said to up daily level & retest. I did and went from under normal (3.2) to normal, 3.9. But I want better yet, maybe 4.5. He did write an order to get retested again in a week or so. Not sure if insurance will pay since I am in the normal range. May be out the self-order fee of $40-50, forgot all ready. Probably I’m being stupid by insisting on upping a good level. Not aware or any health benefits.

Good thing the vegetable juice is low cal, 45 & filling.

horn_of_plenty on 09/20/2021:
Love that pink salamander super super cute ! Ohh I hope you can order it ! You are very good at getting deals !

Jacky82020 on 09/20/2021:
I will get it sooner or later. But no deals, at least on the animal itself. (Weeping emojis) Some ppl have waiting lists! In contact now with a woman here in Pennsylvania who breeds them.

horn_of_plenty on 09/20/2021:
Grilled cheese in air fryer sounds so perfect just yum !

horn_of_plenty on 09/20/2021:
As long as grinding the pills doesn’t hurt your digestion or stomach, sounds like a great plan

Jacky82020 on 09/20/2021:
Nope, same as taking them whole. Weird that I prefer to add powder to the vegetable juice. 5 or 6 pills in one fell swoop didn’t bother me either.

It's not DD, re posting  the salamander pics.  Couldn't get them up on at another place either.   weird  because I can email them.   Will look for other ones.   This guy is adorable!

Many errands to run today.  Never made it outside to do yardwork, but many calories burned walking around shopping & changing water in a fish tank. Got a new 20 gallon tank at Petco today. What an ordeal!   Wanted to use their 20% off orders >$50 when ordered online & picked up locally.  Onlne not showing discount, so called.   Rep spoke poor English.   Said 20% off ineligible on tanks. But he'd apply it as a one time courtesy.   But tried many times to use 3 different credit cards.   Robot telling me on 13th digit card bad.   I don't have any bad cards!

That was yesterday.  Tried today. Same failure to get 20%.  Called. Told same thing, except this agent said she could apply online & I could pay (without being transferred & required to enter CC). Appeared ok until I got to store after running several errands.   Order not entered into system.   Went to BK, Ollie's & then home.

Turns our misstep was mine.   Many Save And Coninues after the one that took me to PayPal.   But order ready to be executed & today's agent gave me $15 off, so big savings.

Fell in love with pics of a pink axolotl, a type of salamander.   He will be ordered online when tank's set up.   None available now locally.   Interesting creatures.  Require cooler temps, 60F ideal.  Tank on end of kitchen table in the sunroom (all windows & skylights, but heavily shaded).   Room kept at 60 F winters except when we eat in there.  Tank won't heat up that quickly, however, I will have to purchase an aquarium chilling system.   Expected to cost more than "Mander," the tank and other equipment.

DD NOT ALLOWING ME TO UPLOAD PIC.  WILL TRY LATER.

Progress as of today: 20.8 lbs lost so far, only 4.2 lbs to go!

happy-1 on 09/19/2021:
Sorry for the hassle. How many tanks do you have now?

Jacky82020 on 09/19/2021:
Have to stop & think! First was 5 gallon from Walmart. Kinda an impulse buy but not really. Thought about it for a few years.

Then got a 10 gallon tank, equipped, on Craigslist. Had betta that died the day before I was to pick it up. Then a 40 gal & 2 more 10’s and then the big 90 gal cabinet tank. So that’s 6? Plus a 10 gal for plants and snails, transferred out when they’re big enough.

happy-1 on 09/19/2021:
I bet it's super peaceful to sit with your dogs and tanks and just chill. Like having your own nature center in your living room.

Makes me want a few goldfish but maybe when this cat is old.

Jacky82020 on 09/19/2021:
It is indeed! I know ppl in the fish forum who have cats & several tanks. This one guy I talk to a lot in northern England has some really cute YouTube vids of his 2 cats kinda lifting a paw up to the tanks & watching the fish. I am sure his tanks have covers. The first 5 gal I picked up at Walmart has a cover with LED lights. Important to me because I’m growing plants in there.

Here, the cats have their own Cat Room and catio. They don’t get along with the dogs. The dogs, BTW, ignore the fish.

Donkey on 09/19/2021:
That's a wonderful image that Happy mentions: relaxing fish tanks to gaze upon... If course, I realize it's a ton of work. That part isn't so relaxing, but what a cool endeavor!

Jacky82020 on 09/19/2021:
Thanks, it is a lot of work, especially at this time because I’m inexperienced, but very peaceful and relaxing.

happy-1 on 09/19/2021:
OMG... The pics! Little space aliens you can watch in a tank!

Jacky82020 on 09/19/2021:
ikr?

Kinda getting grossed out though as main diet seems to be big live ugly worms. Can be ordered on Amazon. Yuk!

Donkey on 09/20/2021:
Oh my goodness, those salamanders look so cute and beautiful! I'm glad you posted a picture - thank you!

Jacky82020 on 09/20/2021:
Finally found ones I could upload. Weird how here and another forum wouldn’t accept others.

latest food obsession is grilled cheese sandwiches in air fryer.   Good!   using 40 cal slice bread & 80 cal slice of sharp cheddar. no oil.   hot mustard.   washed down with diet root beer.

Long day working outside.   too many chores neglected too long.  overcame my fear of extension ladders, did some work cleaning gutters.   but painstakingly slow & cautious.   passed job to the husband & pruned trees & bushes.  arms, sides & back aching!

no sign of the " college student athlete seeking work"

Progress as of today: 20.8 lbs lost so far, only 4.2 lbs to go!

happy-1 on 09/18/2021:
omg air fryer grilled cheese?

Jacky82020 on 09/19/2021:
Yes, nicely toasts the bread. Maybe 5 mins. For 2 sandwiches, mine anyway with the 40 cal bread slices. Don’t overcook! The cheese melts out & goes to bottom tray. Can always add more air fryer time, but can’t fix overcooked good. Of course I ate them anyway & scraped off cheese at bottom as soon as it dried.

Donkey on 09/19/2021:
May I echo what Happy said? This could be a game changer. I'll have to mention it to Husband. What's the cooking time?

Ohh diet Root Beer --- I haven't had one of those in ages! I prefer diet pops (sodas) over the sugary regular beverages. I might pick up a 12 pack to have on hand. It might help when I have those dessert cravings that get out of hand. That's a good idea to try - thanks!

PS I see that you had deleted your comment to my entry yesterday. I actually am more in agreement with you. That is to say, what you said I don't disagree with. I'll write a little more in my own entry today.

Jacky82020 on 09/19/2021:
Yes, it nagged me that you may have it hurtful. So gone.

Jacky82020 on 09/19/2021:
See response to Happy re air fried grilled cheese above. I have been, off & on, a big GC fan. Have many cookers in addition to my trusty electric frying pan: panini maker, Foreman grill, & a Bella Sandwich maker. That I can remember. LOL. AF the fastest, Have to stand around & remove sandwiches from others or they will burn, also requires preheating,

Girls!   I am so proud of myself!   Passed on tons of delectable candy in the Walmart clearance aisle!  And I was starving roundabouts 10:30 am.   Up very early & only had only coffee with small amount of chocolate protein drink.   Plan (done) was to get rodeo burger & share medium onion rings w/Matt.

They had Reese Cups, big packages, all kinds of dark chocolate candy bars, M&M candy bars, family sized gummies,  AND huge bags of Stover sugar free mixed soft chocolates & peanut butter cups.   Killer on those was the fat.  I do buy Stover sugar free hard candy, only 10 Cals each.

I find as life progresses, I must say a hard goodbye to old ways of youth when I ate all & everything I wanted & stayed 100-105.   it's been a long graduale process.   Many a time I walked the grocery aisles with a sense of loss, as though grieving for what can't be.   Do indulge upon occasion (those cannolis & Mexican cakes). But not a daily thing.   Made the choice to stay healthy.

Progress as of today: 20.2 lbs lost so far, only 4.8 lbs to go!

happy-1 on 09/17/2021:
Good job passing up the halloween candy

Jacky82020 on 09/17/2021:
Too soon for that to be discounted, but after holiday candy used to be my greatest weakness. I was a real pig about it. Loaded up the freezer after Easter, Halloween, valentines, Xmas etc. finally passed beginning Xmas 2020.

Brett on 09/17/2021:
I understand, Jacky. My mother spoke of grieving over the loss of foods she couldn’t eat when she was ill. Good for you, walking past all the good candy.

Donkey on 09/18/2021:
Wow, that's impressive! Plus doubly hard when you're hungry.

Interesting... I used to walk down the aisles and get very angry that here was all this delicious food that I couldn't eat because I'd gain weight. Why was I stuck inside this fat body?

My point is that anger is one of the stages of grief. Maybe I've been (slowly) grieving and just haven't realized it.

Jacky82020 on 09/18/2021:
Yes! I think we do grieve & these gradual life changes are difficult. But we made the good choice to stay healthy & not surrender. That’s something. It’s not easy.

Horn_of_plenty on 09/18/2021:
Go you! all that candy is hard to pass up. I was thinking about gummies and chocoalte candy the other day....and how when it's fresh and so soft, it's so hard to pass on!

so what makes a "rodeo" burger? onion rings = delectable!

it's good you passed on the candy, if you are trying to not have that as an option right now in your home! :)

yeah, the older we get, with the more experience that eating junk all the time in quanities will not help us with our weight/health. same reason i've become more and more moderate in portions and what exactly is an indulgence, compared to the huge quanities/calories an indulgence used to be. very different these days compared to my younger past.

i think also as we get older our bodies work harder to do what was easier when we were young. eating dreck is harder for the body to recover from when we are older. for many reasons. metabolism, maybe our overall health isn't as good as it was when we were 20 also! fitness levels. injuries that make us unable to be as active as we were at 20. so many causes.

happy-1 on 09/18/2021:
It's a good idea to stock up on the holiday candy... I don't because I will eat it... but I have a stash of hard candy for emergencies.

This money blog that sends daily emails on best interest rates & "deals" said Walmart had covid tests at 2 for $14.  think Biden was saying Amazon & Walmart are selling them at cost.   Should have ordered immediately, but had to go to the store.   pharmacist said they fly off the shelf instantly & ppl lining up before 7am when the store opens.   geez!   Just like TP & hand sanitizer last year.   so tried online & all gone.   never worried about a test, but thought this bargain may be a nice addition to my home pharmacy.

The new cup style N95 masks were awful.   Left a big gap under eyes and badly fogged glasses.   waste of $35 or whatever I paid. Did make some KN95s fit better by placing folded tissue under top.  Saw this tip online last year.   May be worth a try with these cup masks.  Hate spending money on nothing!

today's day old cake buy at Walmart.   Decadent Mexican Style Hot Chocolate.   The husband recoiled in horror at the word "hot."   I have enjoyed Mexican foods that add chili peppers to chocolate.  Bought 2 cakes.   Small.  1/6 slice = 260 Cals.   Excellent!

Way over ate last night but weight didn't go up.   Maybe later?   Liquids until dinner.   then English muffins with powdered PB, cocoa & fake sugar.   Then white cheddar rice cakes, with honey.  Oh! So good!  Had four while bingeing on Grey's Anatomy. Show gets worse as the seasons pass. & they've renewed it for season 18.   Such a soap opera!

Progress as of today: 20.8 lbs lost so far, only 4.2 lbs to go!

Glad you are having a good day!

Jacky82020 on 09/10/2021:

KathyBlue on 09/11/2021:
Woah 35USD that's a big sum for a mask! The cake looks good!!! Enjoy your weekend :) HUGSSSSS

Jacky82020 on 09/11/2021:
There were 20. Most I’ve seen here are sold in lots of 20, at least the better ones. Still a waste! Miserable fit!

Have a great weekend too! HUGSSS

Donkey on 09/11/2021:
I'm sorry to hear that the new masks were a bust. I hope your modifications work, to make them usable for you.

Oh my that cake looks beautiful!!!!!

Thanks for the critique of Grey's Anatomy. I watched the very first episode and when I realized that she and the McDreamy doctor weren't going to be reconciled any time soon, I decided I couldn't get involved in the series. So I'm rather relieved to hear that the quality of the show slid down a bit. I made the right decision.

Jacky82020 on 09/11/2021:
They got back together, the old off & on soap opera romance. Then that actor quit the show in season 11. They killed him off in a truck accident. Rather melodramatic! He stopped to assist at a vehicular accident & saved 4 ppl. he was hit by a big semi driving home & died hours later in a rural hospital.

The show creators said they had to kill him off, because he was part of the greatest TV romance ever ( Lol) & he would never dump meridith & the kids. She’s having a few goes at romance now, but no chemistry. boring!

bearcountrygg on 09/11/2021:
That's too bad about the masks.....I bought a fed duds too.....

Jacky82020 on 09/11/2021:
Yeah, it was this cup style. My latest (before these) K95s are so tight. Pretty turquoise though. Will suffer through

Horn_of_plenty on 09/11/2021:
that's a really cool cake. i would like it. a little spice will make you prob not want to eat the entire cake in one sitting either!

Jacky82020 on 09/11/2021:
That’s what I thought until I ate half a cake last night! Bought two. Then I had a big fat cannoli. All frozen & delicious & close to a thousand calories I don’t need. Took 2 Alli, but only blocked 100-200 fat Cals at best. I’m scared to look at the label!

Horn_of_plenty on 09/11/2021:
Merideth is still on the Grey's Anatomny!? for some reason i thought it had ended....! i miss that show.

Jacky82020 on 09/11/2021:
She’s still there. Season 18 starting soon. Ellen pompeo getting paid a fortune for that role,

I binge on it. Bought used DVDs on eBay. Have seasons 1-17. Never watched this show when it originally aired.

Horn_of_plenty on 09/11/2021:
that's a really beautiful purple air fryer. does it actually do anything different compared to the oven??????? i don't cook much; so i find it hard to purchase any more kitchen equipment than i currently have. i do like my slow cooker though for softening meats like when i make an Irish corned beef.

Jacky82020 on 09/11/2021:
It cooks a lot faster than an oven & no heat up time. Gives crispy crunchiness to things like chicken breasts, fish fillets, potato wedges etc with no or very little oil. I spray lightly with canned oil. My best cooking thingy ever, second only to the microwave.

Maria7 on 09/11/2021:
Hope you are having a good day.

horn_of_plenty on 09/11/2021:
I guess it’s cool bc no very little oil is added

Jacky82020 on 09/11/2021:
For me, that’s the whole point of it. Food appears to be brown & fried, but not so. But some calories in the bread crumbs of course

Jacky82020 on 08/30/2021:
Thanks! They are & here's hoping I can maintain. Paid $500 for this setup & couldn’t have put it together for less than 2 Grand. Did have to buy 12.5 gallon Coleman Coolers & 5 gallon covered buckets & pay the kid which added $200 to my costs.

bearcountrygg on 08/30/2021:
Any hobby that you really enjoy is always worth an investment in my eyes.....

Donkey on 08/30/2021:
Oh beautiful!!!! That's a nice cabinet too! I hope you got a deal on it, because brand new, those things can be ridiculously expensive. I can see why though - that's like a piece of furniture, not "just' a fish tank.

Also, I wanted to thank you about your comments from Thursday, how you use Ameritrade. That helped me feel better about Husband's determination to go that route.

Jacky82020 on 08/30/2021:
Got a SUPER deal on the entire setup: ~20 fish, some big & pricey. One worth $150. Came with 20 gallon sump tank below main tank & many accessories. Saw that pirate ship at the local aquarium shop yesterday for $100. It’s functional. Many fish cave dwelling species from Africa. Tom, the fat speckled cat, has his private man cave & comes out to eat & then goes home. Easily a 2K setup.

Good luck on the 401k stuff!

Just posted long one with a pic and it went to the yellow screen and vanished!  Will see if this posts

Been very busy with aquarium found on Craigslist.  90 gallons in a mahogany cabinet with the a canopy.   took 3 hours to help seller dismantle at his place near the NY border.  Tank has 20 fish, mostly cichlids.   A 6 inch catfish from I think Africa that is absolutely adorable.

Got home & realized no way we could carry empty 160 gallon tank into house.   Neighbors mostly elderly.  Found  on Craigslist: 21 year old college athlete wants work.   Nice kid from Canada.   will have him oit soon to trim shrubs etc.

ok.   will see if this posts & then do a photo

Progress as of today: 12.2 lbs lost so far, only 3.8 lbs to go!

Jacky82020 on 08/29/2021:
This is the pic from his ad.

Horn_of_plenty on 08/29/2021:
lol, so you will hire college kid to help with the tank and moving!? haha..nice.

also, i want more pics, especially of the 6in fish! :)

Jacky82020 on 08/30/2021:
We did hire the kid that very same day! He was at soccer practice & came by as soon as he could. the fish were ok in the Coleman Cooler with a pair of bubblers but I wanted them home ASAP. Very pleasant boy from Toronto. I’m having him out soon to do landscaping. Got away from me worse than ever this year. Matt does ride around on the Deere & mow lawns. but I’m the weed whacker & bush trimmer. Or was. The student athlete will be getting extra workouts soon. LOL

bearcountrygg on 08/29/2021:
Looks like a nice tank and you got the fish too?

Jacky82020 on 08/30/2021:
Yes! 20 or so fish. Hard to count since I’m unfamiliar with the species. And they hide out in the big pirate’s ship & hollow fake rocks that came with the tank. Love this 6” African cat fish I call Tom. He swims around on his back like an otter & loves to eat.

Will post Pics. Not getting very good ones with this iPad. One of the overhead tank lights needs replacement, so that’s not helping either

MY DOG!  GOOD GIRL!

Did the potassium blood draw.  anxious to get results.   expect emails from both the lab & MyChart this afternoon or early evening.   not a great experience. Puncture painful, far more than usual.  bled lots after.   she pressed down & filled many gauze pads with blood. Pressure hurt & I told her.  She said: Sorry, I have to stop the bleeding.   Instead of the usual flat bruise, I now have a painful elevated lump.   worse draw i ever had!

My USPS mail alert shows a Jury Summons!   Got one two years ago.   Judge dismissed us because defendant was Hispanic & none on jury. Never served before. Was once an alternate.   Boring!

Progress as of today: 11.6 lbs lost so far, only 4.4 lbs to go!

Donkey on 08/20/2021:
Take stuff to do... Good luck!!!

Jacky82020 on 08/20/2021:
I know! Always carry my iPad & read books. Last time I read this true story about how some jurors made hasty decisions because they were dying for a smoke!

The time I was an alternate many fellow jurors raced down the hall like bats out of hell! My first thought was they had to pee or poop really bad. But they exited the building & engulfed me in a vast cloud of smoke when I got outside. LOL

innerpeace on 08/20/2021:
ugh jury duty! worst civil service duty EVER! Good luck.

Sounds like an inexperienced phlebotomist. The last two times I've been I hardly even felt the poke!

Jacky82020 on 08/20/2021:
She was the worst ever! Now I have a big elevated lump & a bruise. Reminds me of the tick bite from a few weeks back.

bearcountrygg on 08/21/2021:
That's too bad about the rough blood draw....and jusy duty...hopefully there it is for just 1 case...here in the woods...when we get jusry duty it is for all cases within a 3 month period...sure messes things up for 3 months.

 I HATE GARMIN!!!

So I ordered a new tracker.   All I want are steps, time & distace.  Fitbit messing up on time. Pain in the ass to connect Garmin.  Turns out to get data from device to app on the iPad, I have to hold it up to the open app & key in a bunch of crap.   I did get the less expensive model because all I want are the 3 basics. ~$100.   paid less for low end Fitbits.   Made big mistake in not buying through Amazon.   Have to pay to return to Garmin!    Grrrrr!

Still unable to determine how long it would take for my high potassium diet to kick in on the blood test. Thinking the 10 days by Saturday may be enough & going then.   Very easy to do three 1,000 items & whatever else is consumed.   So going over 3K everyday.

Progress as of today: 11.8 lbs lost so far, only 4.2 lbs to go!

OK, good to know about the Garmin. Wow, I'm so sorry this was so frustrating. What is your next plan, then? Another FitBit or an upgrade on the Garmin? Or something completely different?

When I've started other supplements, I've been told usually 2-3 weeks. However, you are doing yours through foods - which is really the best way - so yes, it might be towards the lower end of that spectrum. That is to say, you'd see effects sooner rather than later.

What date is your retest?

Jacky82020 on 08/18/2021:
No appointment. I can walk into the lab with the order when I want. It says due by 8/24. I can self order another test, but it would cost me $50. I am assuming the insurance will cover the first test in full.

I will be returning the Garmin via USPO. Then probably another low end Fitbit. I really do like their app,

you couldn't google the question of how long it takes changes in diet to appear on blood test for potassium? or it doesn't come up?

you have found good solutions for diet!

Jacky82020 on 08/19/2021:
Yes! It’s crazy! I cannot get an answer. Everything addresses potassium replacement with IVs in the hospital or potent RX’d pills. Level goes up in 2-24 hours these ways. I’m thinking K is quickly metabolized & 1 week should reflect my increased dietary uptake. So curious that I may go in Saturday. If it’s not as high as I’d like, could retake the test in another few weeks, but probably at my expense. $50. Quest allows one to self order many tests, but you have to pay.

If I still come in low it would suggest an underlying disease, but all my other labs were normal.

Still on my potassium kick!  Easily doing 3000 a day.  1000 mg, vegetable juice, 1000 apricots, 1000 various sources.   Sometimes soybeans with tomato paste & hot sauces. The other day was heating 2 Healthy Choice 4 cheese raviolis for Matt & noticed 990 mg potassium.   So tossed one in the microwave for myself.   these are the only frozen meals I eat on a regular basis, excluding pizza.   excellent nutrition.   low sodium, high protein & only 250 Cals each. So checked out other HC Cafe Steamers.   Saw the potatoes & BBQ beef tips I like is 1240 potassium.   Had that last night when I made the steak for Matt.

This new diet is doing much to alleviate my chronic constipation & don't understand way.   The veg juice has 3 gms fiber per serving.   Same for the apricots & prunes.   Like the prunes but higher in calories and lower in potassium than the apricots, so won't be buying more after these 2 bags are gone.   Too bad!   They are really tasty.

So was getting 40 gms of fiber from Fiber One & hi fiber English muffins. Maybe 15 from new hi potassium foods, but better poops.   Thinking the poop factor will diminish soon.

Progress as of today: 11.4 lbs lost so far, only 4.6 lbs to go!

Very interesting! I've heard of this effect with magnesium but not with potassium. I say go for it while it lasts! :-)

I would not have have even *guessed* that you could find potassium in HC meals. That's really nice! This way, you can get some tasty variety!

It will be very interesting to see what your blood re-tests come back with!!!

Jacky82020 on 08/16/2021:
I was surprised on the HC.

Very interested in retesting. PCP office said 2 weeks enough to show uptake, but can’t find a confirmation anywhere & have googled my fingers raw. All online info re very low levels brought up by IVs & potent supplements . Guess I’ll wait the full 3 weeks, but would definitely go sooner if I had confidence it’d be reliable.

Enjoying the freebie poopies while I can, LOL

Fiber can also be constipating...but most likely the improvement on that is from the fruit as far as I can tell...of course we all know about the prunes effects...apricots are similar.....sounds like eating apricots regularly would be a good thing....i noticed that Jif peanut butter is I believe 189 on the potassium scale for 2T.....not high but a good source of protein too and handy.

Jacky82020 on 08/16/2021:
I was really surprised to see prunes only had 3 gms fiber. Wonder if prune juice is better. The dried ones were really tasty.

The powdered PB has some potassium too, don’t think 189.

horn_of_plenty on 08/16/2021:
prunes/dried fruit often really help with constipation...and the veggie juice may help too in getting in more liquid intake. go you! i'm sure you feel much better! that's good there's some nutrition to the HC meals. some are good, indeed.

Jacky82020 on 08/16/2021:
Weird how the two HC I like are highest in potassium! Tried a few Chinese & the teriyaki which looked good on the box, but were mushy and rather bland.

Could be the added liquids helped,

horn_of_plenty on 08/17/2021:
good deal you got lucky you like the high potassium meals!

Jacky82020 on 08/17/2021:
Yes! That is fortuitous! But best potassium find was the veg juice: 1000 mg in 9 oz, <60 calories
